We had take out here and it was a good experience. The owner was kind and answered our questions. The hours at the restaurant can be a bit of a challenge. Parking is ample. A person that needs gluten free can eat here.
The Chicken Shawarma was dry due to the usage of chicken breasts. When chicken breasts are on a rotisserie for that long it will happen. The beef shawarma was better but it’s just a premade coagulated meat slurry that every restaurant serves. Nothing special. The sides are good and the rice has a nice cinnamon aroma to it. They give you a generous portion. The potatoes are dry and overcooked. The hummus is good as is the tzatziki sauce. Opt for just the Tzatziki. The pickled sides are a must, I would have forgone the salad.
Overall a good experience and I’d go again. They would benefit from increasing quality. The platters are huge and the size can be reduced by increasing the quality of the product.
This family-run chip stand offers a welcoming covered deck and well-laid patio, perfect for enjoying a casual meal in a setting that captures small-town charm. The atmosphere complements their gluten-free sauce, making it a great spot for those seeking gluten-free options.
