Fish was nicely pan-fried. To many chips for a lunch meal but great if hungery, the salad had a nice light dressing. Good selection of gluten free options. Large range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Had our sons wedding 60 guests on saturday 4 pm on .
Food was great , everything they served was delicious .
Staff were helpful nothing was a bother.
There were quite a few ceoliac ( gluten free) and they were more than happy with food too and no one was unwell the next day .
Couldn't speak more highly of food .venue etc

Amazing wood fired pizzas! So delish. Highly recommend the gluten free vege lasagne. Lovely atmosphere, staff make sure you are comfortable and cosy on cold nights with heating and blankets if outdoors. Top service, highly recommend.

Went for a dinner with gluten free friends, we ordered drinks and four mains to share. Amazed that all but two of the options on the menu were gluten free. Food came out almost instantly and the flavours were incredible. We couldn’t even pick a favourite, they were all amazing. A bit disappointed we couldn’t try dessert as we were too full. Something to look forward to next time. Wait staff were attentive and friendly.

The fish of the day was delicious so I’m told! I chose the lamb rump,, cooked just right with eggplant & peas,,, who would have thought that this would taste so good. Thanks very much. We will be back next time we’re in town
Beautiful meal. I am on a gluten free and dairy free diet and for the first time in years I had a creamy butter chicken and it tasted sooo good. Yes dairty free. Really really good!

The Village Green cafe boldly announces gluten-free options in large lettering painted on its outside wall, so I was expecting a good choice for breakfast. Therefore, I was incredibly disappointed to find that my only choices appeared to include egg (which it's never cooked to my taste in cafes). When I asked if the granola was g-f, I felt the waitress and kitchen staff almost ridiculed me for asking such a dumb question. Trust me, it's not hard to make a g-f granola. So disappointing.
We ordered the Fried Chicken Burger, Gluten Free Special Burger, and Fries.
The burgers were both very good, and fries... exceptional, very crispy, amongst the best we've had from takeaways.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the pizza here, definitely the best around. Hot and tasty and I like that they offer Gluten Free bases - which are also the absolute best gluten free pizza bases around. Can recommend the Chicken Cranberry Spring Onion pizza, one of our families favourites. There is a good offering for kids too and they love the kids sized pizza and choosing their own to have all to themselves. You won't be disappointed with Peak Pizza!

Came here on Mother’s Day, best cafe in havelock! My mum said it’s the best coffee and scone she’s ever had. Lots of variety of very cheap cabinet and kitchen food which comes out quickly. The iced chocolate I had was exceptional, and there was a lot of gluten free options which is rare to see in other cafes. Staff are incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back every week or so, I highly recommend!
