Great place for a meal. We had a large party here for celebration. They set up a long table for us. The food was delicious and lots of gluten free options. I love the atmosphere of the wooden tables large doors and even log fire. Staff are always lovely. Lots of space and room for children families.

Plenty of Gluten free cupboard options which i really appreciate as most cafes only offer if at all gluten free brownies from the cupboard. Decent coffee and friendly service will be back :)

I can give 5 star for banana muffin and their gluten free snacks. So yumm. However, Staff are ridiculous. They are more interested in talking with each other than serving customers...So rude customer service

Great service . I needed gluten free food and needed to educate the waitress that the fries were not gluten free if they were cooked in a fryer with gluten. So.if you are gluten free/coeliacs don't get their frys. But the rest of the meal was tasty and brilliant

"Wow, I think this is my new favourite eatery", I told my family, while still browsing the menu. This is the kind of food I love and it was excellent. I absolutely loved the dinner here and left so full I was uncomfortably content. It's a great atmosphere and the waiting staff were friendly and professional. Seems to have plenty of gluten free options available for Coeliacs which pleased my wife and food came reasonably quickly too. I will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Always a good stopoff here for decent coffee and brunch or lunch. We had the beef nachos for our gluten free daighter, french toast and bacon for the other hungry monster and the veggie stack. If you haven't eaten for days and all you can think about is a big plate to fill the tummy, don't get the veggie stack - it's only just big enough for a wafer thin super model. Order up the big breakfast for big eaters and hungry teenage boys. There's plenty on offer from the cabinet. Coffees are good enough, but not the bestin Tauranga. The girls are always friendly and most times plenty of parking in the Bethlehem Palmers carpark - after you've doused your body in as much caffeine as you can drink, pick up some pot plants and get into the garden to work off some of those calories!

This Turkish place is our favourite stop when visiting Tauranga. I am allergic to gluten and they always clean the tongs and make sure the meal is made without gluten. The food is amazing! Also the family that own this restaurant are so lovely. Highly recommend!!

We enjoyed a beautiful meal at Sugo. They cater for so many dietary requirements including coeliac. The food was superb and the service to match. The Ribeye steak is best we have ever had. Will definitely visit again.

Visiting from out of town , came here with my brother for a bite to eat. The service was spectacular and efficient , all the staff are so friendly and such a good vibe. The coffee and fries I got were superb. Got a gluten free brownie to take away which was so good I ate it all in one sitting. Talk about a great experience. 1000000% chance I will be back next time for more delish food. Thank you.

My wife and I booked in for dinner last night - New Years Eve. The food was fantastic, so moreish, and the range of food on the menu was perfect for us, including plenty of gluten free options. The service was next level and we were looked after very well. The humour was a definite bonus! We'll definitely be back :)

Popular place and we were nearly put off by all the tables being reserved in advance. But fortunately we went in and it was great. They have a few vegan and gluten free options including a salad, cauliflower bites, a vegan lasagne, and fries plus others that could be made vegan/gf. Worth a visit but be aware the coffee is expensive at $9 for a large decaf flat white.

Being Gluten Free we previewed the menu to check what we wanted. Arrived ordered our drinks and once our drinks arrived we went to order our Entree which we were then advised they couldn't make as they don't have all the ingredients. (Had we known that there were only select things.on the menu available prior to ordering our drinks we would have left.) Went on to order pur mains and had the same issue couldn't have what we wanted as they did not have all the ingredients super disappointed. Also got offered a bottle of water which seemed to take for ever to arrive and ended up asking for it multiple times until it finally arrived. Service was slow and I am sure they kept forgetting about us nobody seemed to really care that we couldn't order what we wanted like it was standard procedure for things not to be available on the menu. Very disappointing.

A busy school holiday night but we were happy to take a high table in the bar area. Staff were friendly and kept checking we were okay. Handled our gluten free request well. Food was (mostly) good quality and well prepared, drinks were nice and desserts were tasty. A pleasant night out.

One of the few restaurants in area that's right on the water 💧 sit outside or in during summer and quite a few tables with views. Situated at the Tauranga Bridge Marina, the views are the boats, the harbour and Sulphur point container wharf, so busy busy. We've dined here a number of times at different times of day and night and the service has always been excellent. Tapas menu as well as mains and desserts. Brunch menu as well. A good selection of gluten free dishes from all menus. Today, we shared a tapa beetroot with smoked duck and citrus infused feta. 10/10. Then the crunchy pork belly, peach, yummy sauce with vegetables. Brett had salmon on lemon infused risotto. Both beautifully cooked. Dessert menu looked delicious but we couldn't do it justice. We will be back 🍾

We visited for Sunday lunch as we had been given a voucher. The Cafe was quiet and very economical. We had the Salmon Roulade which was delicious, a sausage roll, a gluten free cake from the cabinet and a milkshake. Would be very happy to return. Sorry, no photos as we were too hungry to bother

This little pocket of a place was amazing so, after buying my daughter and I some food, my wife suddenly rang me and asked for a coffee and some gluten-free food if they had any well indeed they did, I ask for one item then lovely woman serving asked me if she was a coeliac, and I said yes she in that instant proceeded to put on gloves and continued with the order, I gotta say that was pretty cool, and let's not bypass the fact that food is amazing and the people are too.

This is Tauranga’s best kept secret exclusive, & invite-only. This is an authentic chinese-cum-vietnamese experience that even caters to gluten intolerances. The chef’s attitude leaves something to be desired but his wife is delightful and the food more than makes up for it. If I could give 100 stars, I would. Thanks Mike and Jo for a magical experience.

The only reason I've given it 4 stars is because I think prices are a little on the steep side, it probably puts it out of reach for many, especially families as a takeaway meal option. However, I have seen some awesome deals on grab one. (Perhaps gluten free option could be made available on these too for a bit extra?) As for the food, it's delicious and well portioned. Staff are very friendly. I've never had to wait too long. Good atmosphere. Definitely recommend trying it.

We chose to go with the pre cooked dishes on offer that were kept warm under heat lamps (& were possibly in a bain Marie?). I had vegetarian noodle, vegetarian fried rice, sweet & sour pork, fish bites & chips. The vegetarian noodle & rice dishes tasted really nice. The sweet & sour pork wasn't very sweet or sour & the pork wasn't that great. The fish bites looked nice & thick but didn't taste fresh. The chips were great. Service was friendly & quick. Gluten free foods were well labelled. Plenty of free parking outside.

The food was really good, I was very excited to have my gluten free needs met but I was very disappointed to be charged $4.90 extra on top of $21.00 for one slice of bread. Especially when the prices where already high enough to cover my single slice of gluten free bread and more

Great pub, really friendly staff and awesome trivia on Tuesday night! Limited gluten free options but at least they understood the difference between that and celiac!
