This was the first time we have visited since 2019, and it was as good as we remembered. Very dog friendly with gluten free cakes and bread. It can get busy but they have a good system where you add your name to a list and you are called when a table if free. We will definitely be back.

4 of us visited on 15th October to celebrate my Auntie’s 80th birthday. We all had the foxy special which was fab value. High points were the lentil soup and a great selection for a gluten free diet. Special shout out to your wonderful friendly staff. They made my Auntie feel very special and were so attentive. I highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was the first time we'd come to the running fox for breakfast, we normally have afternoon tea which is also fabulous. The selection of food was so much it was hard to choose what to have, even with me being gluten free. Had a lovely time, food was fab, service was great and it was also quite busy. We pre booked a table and we're glad we did. I would highly recommend a visit 😋😋

We visited the Martino Lounge for a brunch, and we were treated to some lovely food. The staff were very pleasant, efficient and weren't overbearing. When we requested a gluten free menu, we were allocated an individual member of staff to oversea this dish. Great service with that. With the exception of the gluten free dish, which was prepared and served individually, all the dishes arrived together, in a relatively short time too. This was our second visit here, both times we've been impressed and it certainly won't be our last.

Called in today on our way home after a weekend in Bamburgh. The Sunday roast was gluten free including Yorkshire puds, stuffing, gravy, and the most amazing Christmas cake also gluten free. The service was great, nothing too much trouble. What impressed me most was the amount of GF food offered. I have been in many expensive hotels that don't offer the variety this cafe does. This lady knows how to cook up home made food with great taste, value, and wonderful service!

Gorgeous food and drink. No wonder people book a table. They cater for vegans and vegetarians and gluten free. Hearty breakfasts and pancakes that will keep you full for most of the day! Delicious bread and a great cup of coffee. Nice clean environment and friendly staff. Car parking available. Dog friendly. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it.

1st visit and we will be back. Food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming. There is a good range of gluten free options. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was that I was sat in a draught and a small issue with our bread that was swiftly resolved
