Amazing little coffee shop gem set in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood in Pleasant Hill. Delicious coffee and quick, healthy breakfast options, many gluten-free offerings, very friendly (and stylish) staff, and chill music! What’s not to love? I’m obsessed with their GF waffles with nut butters and fruit topped on them. I’d complain about the lack of indoor seating but the weather in the area is often so nice it’s no problem to sit outside if you can find a place.

I wanna give them a 4.5. I've had like half of the menu, the only thing I flat out didn't like was on the early bird. It was clearly seasoned for a retirement home. Otherwise, you're not gonna get a bad meal. The pasta here is really good and I was actually surprised that I liked the gluten-free pasta as well when I tasted it. Salmon salad, chili mac, the hangover and the Tutto Mare are probably my favs. They'll go above and beyond if you have celiac's like my friend does. She never gets sick here.

I'm still dreaming about those gluten free empanadas! Huge, crispy, and full of flavor, this appetizer is filling! The fresh potato chips are crunchy and full of flavor. We asked our server for a recommendation, as I didn't want to just get tacos. She recommended Huarache with black Angus asada, which was a special. Wow. So much flavor! Not your usual Mexican dish, it has mushrooms for one! Loved it, the flavors are complex and delicious. Lastly, let me add this spot is super clean and you can tell they take pride in their space. Go! Enjoy! I did also get Mexican wedding cookies, but have not tried them yet, I'll let you know!

Vitality Bowls delivers! high quality gluten free and dairy free meals that can be ordered ahead of time. I started ordering ahead because they do get pretty busy sometimes and it can take quite a while whereas ordering ahead almost guarantees no more than a ten minute wait. People who are complaining about portion sizes and price don’t value their health enough to invest in proper nutrition. sometimes you get what you pay for and unfortunately the food supply is a bigger picture issue far beyond the scope of this review. However I do wish they would carry some warm food but the name “vitality bowl” comes from their signature cold smoothie bowls. the salads are nice and the wraps have a little warmth to them. expect to pay extra for unprocessed organic healthy food. and additionally you are paying for the convenience factor so it becomes difficult for these stores to even make a profit with the cost of the product.

Their gluten free crust is INCREDIBLE. I checked my receipt about 3 times just to be sure, that's how good it is. Normally, gluten free pizza crust tastes like bread flavored cardboard. This? This was spectacular. Felt like the real thing. I'm only ordering from Melo's from now on.

I came as part of a large group and we had a buffet style dinner and got our own drinks from a private bar. The barkeep did a fantastic job. The buffet was a little slow getting setup and the staff were hard to find. I didn't enjoy the food and a good deal of jokes were made at the table about how burnt everything tasted. The meat just tasted like ashtray to me. The staff were not sure about the gluten in the buffet when one of our guests asked. Next morning the teams from Texas said they had liked the food but it wasn't a Texas BBQ.

My family frequently eats here (dine in). The owner is fantastic (we've gotten to know him a little since we come so frequently). My wife can not have gluten and has never gotten sick from the gluten free pizza.

Pleasant Hill, CA. Tzunun exploded on the dining scene in 2022 and quickly became a foodie destination in Northern California for its vibrant cocktails and visionary dishes inspired by the less-well known regions of Mexico. Its young chef and owner, Jesus Wence, focuses on sustainability and modern Mexican cuisine. His family owns the popular Wence’s restaurant and they hail from the Mexican state of Michoacan. I sat on the rustic covered deck outside which still felt like an upscale space. Service was flawless, Angel and his team were all professional and genuinely friendly. The wild mushroom tacos were perfectly seasoned, deftly put together so each ingredient shined: the thick, soft house made blue corn tortilla had melted mild cheese on it so the moist mushrooms didn’t make it fall apart, and the julienned deep fried crispy leeks added a touch of salt and oniony flavor. I could eat those every day. Oh, the blue corn is gluten-free non-GMO heirloom corn imported from farmers in Mexico whose families have farmed for generations. I also tried the Mexican street corn ribs and the house made potato chips (they were out of yucca chips) with organic salsa roja. I’d have to say I like my Mexican street corn homemade because I shamelessly slather on more mayonnaise and Tajin. Since you have to eat these with your hands you might not want to order these on a date. But this is a family restaurant (fur babies and children enjoyed the deck with their loved ones today) and eating with one’s hands is a delight for the young at heart. The corn ribs had wonderful flavor. The potato chips were generous in portion but not salted so the salsa roja came to the rescue. It was very good. You can confidently bring your foodie friends to Tzunun for a fresh culinary adventure. Highly recommended.

Oh man! I won't order from any other Mountain Mike's or pizza places from now on. This location got my order perfect, quick delivery,and super nice customer service at delivery! They don't skimp on the toppings and they do a large gluten free which is hard to find. Will definitely order from them again and again!

The Chef kindly prepared our deluxe fried rice and other items with no-gluten soy sauce. The crackling rice soup was amazing with how soft the meats were. All the meat was juicy. Staff was friendly. My 8- month pregnant wife loved it. Didn't taste like MSG

This has been one of my favorite places nearly my whole life! I even worked here for a year right out of high school! It's cash only, has great food and fantastic waitresses! They also offer a few gluten free items as well! The patty melt is one of my favorites!

As someone who has Celiac, I can not explain how amazing this restaurant is! I told the waiter I was gluten free and he was able to fully accommodate all of my dietary restrictions, which is not easy for a place that uses soy sauce regularly! Hands down one of the best experiences I have had at a hibachi restaurant.
