Had a very pleasant experience having dinner here. Our waitress was so sweet, and the lake view from the back patio was gorgeous. The food was amazing and affordable compared to other places in the area. Situated near cute shops. Plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available as well. We got the sourdough grilled cheese with tomato bisque, chicken and rib meal, and the chocolate torte. The fresh vegetables side was so good. Highly recommend:)
Enjoy a delicious and diverse selection of Thai dishes in a cozy spot that caters to specific dietary needs without compromising on flavor.

I almost cried eating here the first time. I haven’t had fried rice in so many years and finding it so delicious and gluten-free on my vacation. I have to admit I have been there 3 times in not even a week…
Staff is very friendly, portions almost too much but perfect after a long hike and the price is phenomenal. 17$ for this portion

This was a very disappointing experience. We went in for my birthday dinner and I was very excited because the menu looked great. To start, the server was cold and not engaging at all. Some of the food was just ok, but very high prices for just ok. Two of the dishes were almost not edible. My partner is gluten free and I do appreciate the accommodation that was offered, but they up-charge $5 for boxed gluten free pasta. We constantly eat gluten free and it’s usually very tasty but her dish was just nasty. The pasta was hard/crunchy like it was burned in a pan after being boiled. She would take bites of her food then have to spit out the rock hard pieces of pasta. The pesto sauce was very bland, and the tomato sauce was way too sweet. I highly recommend you do not go here for any special occasion, they are not welcoming and don’t seem to care about any celebration. There’s some great Italian on the Big Island, look somewhere else.
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with stunning sunset views, where each dish bursts with freshness and creativity, making for a memorable dining night.

Our family of four enjoyed a sunset meal at this wonderful restaurant. We made reservations on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere was intentional with a nice mix of energy and sophistication. Our server, Braxton, provided thoughtful service being attentive to the gluten sensitivity. We chose the Mixed Grill, Blackened Ahi, Miso Butterfish and Opakapaka. The food was well prepared, plates visually appealing and portions were satisfying. The signature dishes held up to their fame. Pricing set the stage for a celebratory dinner. Certainly, would return when in the area again.

A few gluten free options (knowledgeable server). I have celiac so I did not get the fries as they are in a shared frier. The fish tacos were pretty good!

After walking the very long way through a lava flow and passing by some amazing petroglyphs, we found our way to Sansei. It was a pleasure surprise for sure. Our waiter, Kamon (common) was very knowledgeable and had a firm grasp of the gluten free options. We had a fabulous meal. The steaks were cooked to perfection.

The experience was enjoyable, the show was great. The food was not great for people with food allergies, religious based dietary restrictions. I asked beforehand about the menu and which items were gluten free, dairy free, pork free, egg free. I was given a lengthy list via email with tons of options. When I showed up the menu matched but the food allergies did not. There was 1 entree I could eat bbq chicken and rice, plain lettuce/salad mix without dressing, and 1 dessert item. The food cards did not match so the menu is was sent was a lie. 3 put of 4 people in my party got so sick from the food likely from cross contamination-not food poisoning. It was unfortunate that they lied to me just to make a sale. I would've brought my own food and gone for just the show had I known they were going to be deceitful about the food. They had an open bar with pre-made cocktails, they were very sugary. You could ask them to make different drinks but that wasn't really clear since it was a premade cocktail menu. My kids did enjoy the virgin Pina coladas. It was windy, i got photos taken, they weren't the greatest due to the wind and hair blowing everywhere. Photos were $65 for general seating and they came with a little book and digital download. The experience was nice, it was a 1 and done for me.

I am sitting by the water watching dolphins, drinking a Mai Tai and a carefully-prepared gluten-free Hamburger. These guys look such care with my order, gave me both a gf bun and lettuce for a lettuce wrap. They cooked it in a separate frying pan to protect me. I feel so cared for. Amazing service!!!
Food was great, loved the gluten free option Kauhlua pork pizza and the de poncie wine ❤ mixed drinks (lava and hawaiian blue) tasted kind of "fake" like fake sweeteners maybe. Other than that, ambiance and service was great, with an amazing view 😍

We had a fantastic evening watching the sunset while enjoying a fabulous meal with impeccable service. We were seated by Head Chef Robert and served by Jolie and Owen. My wife and I really enjoyed every aspect of the dining experience!
We started off with the smoked shrimp appetizer which, while in modest size, was very delicious. My wife had the scallops which were perfectly prepared and some of the largest scallops we’ve had. I had the dinner special which was Hamachi over garlic rice with Swiss chard and pea shoots. And finish the evening, a decadent gluten-free chocolate and macadamia nut dessert.

Stopped in for a burger and french dip. They also have gluten free buns! The food was delicious and the two gals running the restaurant were extremely friendly and working hard. The view of the golf course adds to the ambiance.

Such a nice coffee place right in the makai tower, perfect for daily breakfast. They even had gluten free oatmeal. Loved their açaí bowl, and Hawaiian latte. They have bagels and some pastries as well. Go by 7-7:30am there is not much crowd. The kids feed the fish ~8 am which is cute to watch as well.
