Everything was amazing! The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious and served quickly. Price was great for portions and flavor.
Was very easy to eat gluten-free. They could even make gluten free mac&cheese.
Brisket, cheesy potatoes, and baked beans were top notch.
With outstanding service and a team that handles busy times like pros, this spot really stands out for its attentive care and efficiency.

If you have eaten at one Qdoba you have eaten at all Qdoba's. Not true when you go to the one in Hays, KS and I hope Anthony is there to assist you. Wow, was he impressive in his level of service. My wife is gluten intolerant and she informed Anthony of that when she ordered. Anthony stopped right there, changed his gloves, washed his hands and arms, changed the serving spoons and cleaned the counter before assisting my wife. Talk about a WOW factor. Anthony had it in spades. NEVER in all the years we have shred that she has gluten issues has someone really gone out of their way to ensure her safety. Anthony should be high commended for his actions.
A tasty spot with a variety of options, friendly vibes, and a commitment to deliciousness that keeps folks coming back for more.

First time at Billy sims. Everything was delicious. I had brisket, pulled pork potato salad and Cole slaw. All sauces are listed as gluten free. Girl preparing my food was super nice. I’ll be back 👍

Isabel R greeted us promptly with a smile. She was respectful regarding my gluten sensitivity and brought another person who was experienced in the gluten free options. She was attentive throughout our time.
She was delightful. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and plentiful. Great first time experience.
Ordered 2 gluten free with dairy free cheese pizzas with extra toppings. One had Salami so when I went to pick up they hadnt even made it yet due to their Salami having Dairy. (A phone number was provided and no one bothered to reach out to make sure if I wanted that removed or not if it was an allergy problem) so I waited an extra 5 mins in drive through with that Pizza on the bottom not even thinking to check only to go home the pizzas get made and the Salami one has no extra toppings pathetic amount of cheese and overly done sauce (wich is the creamy garlic a Dairy based sauce so the fact that wasnt asked about as well is weird to me) called the store since you cant do anything online or the app and all that was done was told "sorry we will get it right next time" no fixing of the order, no refund and not even a coupon. I payed for stuff thats not even recived and only left with a "we will get it better next time"
20 bucks each for these pizzas, thankfuly my partners was right with all the extras as you can tell but mine is not and the fact no one is willing to do anything for the troubles of paid good not being recived makes me not want to even bother coming here anymore sadly.
A go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal, perfect for travelers seeking something tasty during their Kansas road trip.

I enjoy devouring any item off of Freddy's fantastic menu! I often consume my selected meal more rapidly than a starving wild rabid wolf does! My annihilation of Freddy's food would even put to shame the strictest of vegans at their favorite gluten free salad bar joint. I'd happily pump myself so full of Freddy's gluten & I'd still live life healthier than a vegan. Of course, I'm not scared to say, "I have no idea what the f*** gluten is but I know the $hi+ is delicious & I often feel like hell the lower my gluten levels get! So thank u Fred 4 allowing me 2 inhale gluten more rapidly than a junkie inhales cheap gold paint! I doubt I'd still be alive if not for Fred's handy work so my deepest thanks dear Fred!
A perfect pit stop for travelers, featuring customizable dishes, refreshing drinks, and a cozy atmosphere.

This was a great find for us cross-country travelers! We each had the Fajita Fuente. We were able to modify our orders with regular cheese (rather than low fat), and I had refried beans rather than black beans. It was *utterly delicious*! The waitress was very considerate in ensuring that my meal was gluten free. And the made-from-scratch margarita was exactly what I needed after a day of driving. Highly recommended.

I love the unwich option because of my gluten allergy, but if they'd get gf bread, that would be even better! Sometimes they are a little bit slow on delivery or pickup, but every place has those days. Sign up for emails for coupons!

Verdant Bistro is an absolute hidden gem in Hays, KS. Tucked away in non-descript office complex, there is a spacious atmosphere for dining. Our waitress was very attentive, considerate, and friendly. The menu is trim. We appreciate the plainly-marked gluten-free options. Everything is exquisite, from the simple yet elegant table settings to the presentation of plates. They make some food items in house, like the focaccia, with the chef's own spin. Other items and ingredients are locally sourced. The prices might dissuade some, but for a stylish and amazing dining experience, you need not look any further than Verdant Bistro.
Charming spot with a dedicated owner, offering a personalized touch and a commitment to quality that makes every visit memorable.

Outstanding diner! My wife and I need to eat gluten-free. The waitress was so nice in helping us look at the menu. She let us know the owner has a gluten allergy too. In fact, the owner cleaned the grill to make us hash Browns. In addition, we were able to have gluten-free bread.
If you have food allergies, it may be best to skip this place. There are very few gluten-free options except for salads. The burgers might be okay depending on if they're ordered bun-less and aren't cooked on the same surfaces as wheat-containing products. The fries are not gluten-free as they're cooked in the same oil as their other breaded menu items and would not be suitable for those with allergies. For better and more plentiful options, other options in Hays are better.
Expect an adorable vibe with creative options, including unique substitutions like sliced orange instead of bread, making it a must-visit spot!

This place is the cutest! They have tons of sandwich and salad options, soups, and local honey and mushrooms. They're very adaptable to people with gluten allergies and subbed bread with my salad for a sliced orange! If they get gluten free bread for their sandwiches, I'd probably start living in there since their sandwiches are that good!

I think many who visit or travel through Hays have discovered and instantly come to love and appreciate this downtown gem. But, Hays Locals: Go to Las Hefas! You will not regret supporting this hyper-fresh, completely scratch-made, three-generation family-run restaurant. Try it just once, and it will become your new go-to.
I am in town for a family funeral, and today Las Hefas catered our post-funeral lunch. We had vegans, vegetarians, gluten-intolerant, kosher, and severe nut allergies to accommodate, and Israel and his team went above and beyond to meet each requirement flawlessly. That alone would have been enough to earn our gratitude and satisfaction, but in addition to just accommodating our needs, the food was legitimately delicious.
If you've only ever tasted the pasty, stale tortillas at your local mexi-merican family restaurant, you absolutely have to try the fresh, handmade tortillas at Las Hefas. Night and day. How many times have you returned the obligatory refried beans that accompany your tacos, burritos or enchiladas, untouched? Not so at Las Hefas - they are so full of flavor they could star on their own.
Don't let the unfamiliarity of "Latin Cuisine" deter you. My husband's 80-something-year-old grandmother tried ropa viejo for the first time in her life today and liked it so much that, after she went home, she asked for some more to be brought over to her house for her dinner...and even requested some to freeze for later.
From vegan to meat-lover and everyone in between, all commented on how exceptional the food was, to a one. Please support this wonderful new local eatery - go today!
The hibachi filet was cooked to medium well perfection. It did need more seasoning, but after I added a couple of ginger sauces, the filet was excellent. I cannot eat gluten, so no soy sauce for me. Osaki was accommodating w/o any problem.
