This is my favorite coffee shop that has been a part of my routine for several years now. The staff is friendly and the retention is great- I've been seeing the same familiar faces for years. They adhere to high quality standards and have a great selection of deserts (including a gluten-free option!), loose tea, bulk coffee, and breakfast/lunch menu. My favorite is the Patty Hearst- a breakfast sandwich with egg, brie, spinach and grey poupon. I often get it with a side of fresh fruit.
They have a rewards program for people purchasing coffees on a regular basis.
Their prices are affordable and a fraction of what you may pay in larger cities (i.e. Grand Rapids).
My only disappointment with this establishment is their hours - they are not open for coffee after work or dinner, and closed on Sundays.
Gluten-free options are thoughtfully integrated into this family-run eatery, making it a standout choice for those with dietary restrictions. The clean, well-maintained space complements the experience, where fresh ingredients shine in dishes like the hash brown omelet and breakfast wrap. Guests appreciate the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the care put into accommodating allergies, all at very reasonable prices that invite repeat visits.

So so good. Food so good I wanted to cry. I had the hash brown omelet. We only spent 22$ for 2 people. Very good pricing. Catered to my allergies of dairy and gluten. The waitress was super friendly. I will be coming back. It's so good.

My Life - DIY
Wow! This place is super cool! From the garden games in the yard to the cook your own meal, this place is quite the experience! You can just go and eat off the menu or cook your own! Many gluten-free choices! I had the steak meal make your own, with asparagus and mushrooms. Really great place. I noticed not too much of filling the waters though. I really think they need the table buser's to have a water pitcher and be going around filling. Great place to check out for dinner or just a drink. The rocking seats are amazing!
This eatery shines as a gluten-free haven, offering pizzas that are not only safe for those with Celiac disease but also phenomenally delicious. The gluten-free crusts are crafted with care, delivering a texture and flavor that rivals traditional pizzas. The warm, inviting atmosphere complements the experience, making it a comforting spot for families seeking tasty gluten-free options. Handmade pasta and other dishes also cater thoughtfully to gluten-sensitive diners, ensuring a memorable and inclusive meal.

I understand there is a training curve with new restaurants. We visited on a Monday night and were not welcomed and waited a bit for service at our table (we had to go up to the bar for help). They were also out of salad greens and chicken, which worried me since I have dietary restrictions and went in with a plan as to what I would eat. The waitress was helpful in working with the cook to verify that I could order veggie burger on gluten-free bun with chips to avoid gluten. I am grateful for another option downtown and I hope to see them continue to grow and improve.
