Ordered tomato bisque (minus croutons) and french dip sandwich on gluten free hoagie roll (minus the au jus since not gluten free) substituted sides for gluten free tortilla chips that the server said would be from a different bag/area for no cross contamination. He also made sure to mark my order with a SEVERE ALLERGY notice to ensure that all allergy protocols were taken and when food arrived he walked me through how it was all prepared and that the bread and chips were different from my counterparts since it was gluten free. Great food, good service, would recommend.
Expect quick service and a wide variety of beverages in this island hotspot.

I have celiac disease and was super worried about options while on the island.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when my family and I stopped here, I was greeted with options! Our waitress was very knowledgeable of celiac and the risk of cross contamination. There isn’t a gluten free menu but, they can help guide your order. I got the grilled whitefish, kettle chips, the slaw, and a small side salad. This has to be my best gluten free food experience through our whole trip. Super thankful for the safety precautions and my illness being taken seriously! Highly recommend for anyone gluten free and not.
The tables were unclean and they only have gluten free pizza. So if you’re wanting pizza you’re great. Anything else you’re out of luck. Would not recommend
A hidden gem off the main road, this spot offers a unique dining experience, but expect slightly higher prices for the quality.

This restaurant did an excellent job of accommodating my wife's Celiac diagnosis. They communicated clearly about meal options, brought her dish our separately, and checked in to make sure everything was OK. As a bonus, our kids really enjoyed their meals as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is worth noting that you get what you pay for, as this restaurant is a tad on the pricey side.
Accessibility note: there is a bit of a ramp to get in, and our table was wheelchair accessible.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with tasty burgers and quick service, perfect for families and those looking for a fun dining experience.

Went here based off recent reviews and wasn’t wowed by their knowledge or offerings. I asked my server what can be made gluten free and sandwiches, some appetizers like dips and meats, and flatbreads. I asked about allergy protocols for sandwiches/burgers, buns are toasted on same “roller” as gluten so just be sure to tell them untoasted or separate area if you order those. I didn’t ask about the flatbreads. I ended up getting the burnt ends appetizers and switched the naan bread dippers for kettle chips. Kettle chips are not made in house and were gluten free however I asked the server if they would get them from a different area to ensure no glutened gloves had touched but was simply told “I marked the allergy”. I assumed they wouldn’t be celiac safe so my family enjoyed them instead. The burnt ends themselves were delicious with or without the bbq sauce.
Experience a flavor-packed journey with unique dishes and a welcoming family atmosphere, perfect for a casual outing or a special occasion.

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
By far the best place on the island to eat, as a Jamaica - I can attest to these dishes, by far the best place I've eaten in the USA, takes me back to Jamaica.
Courteous staff, the atmosphere is family friendly - resonates the perfect Jamaican aura & the food is sublime, mouthwatering & and tantalizing, to say the least.
My daughter has a gluten & egg allergy, which makes it a bit hard eating out with her. The staff was very knowledgeable of her allergy & she savored every bite of her meal, it warmed my heart to know they had gluten-free bun.
We had the Trelwany Trifecta (3 appetizers of your choice) - we had the Seven Cheese Ackee Dip - it was mouthwatering with every bite;
The Jonkanoo Jerk Beef Tips was packed with flavor & the gold sauce compliments it very well;
Pork wings were succulent to the last bite.
We treasured every bite of the Rice & "Peas", Braised Oxtail, Coconut Curried Chicken, Fried Plantain Steamed Veggies. The MacWacker, in my opinion, is the perfect sweet tooth adult beverage. The Manchester Banana Old Fashioned was well spirited.
In summary, I can testify and appreciate the love, dedication and preparation that goes into the preparation of these authentic Jamaican meal, everything was well thought of & its great to enjoy a meal that is made from scratch & isn't taken straight out of a bag, can or box. Kingston Kitchen is serving up our number one soul food - the proof is in the puddin.
My only regret was not ordering some of the Jerk Chicken, Smoked Jerk Pork, Curried Goat and Ackee and Saltfish to go. I'm looking forward to visiting Mackinac Island again and dining at the number 1 restaurant, Kingston Kitchen 🥰😍🤩🤤

Very happily situated back off the hustle and bustle of Main St. The garden seating is idyllic and quaint. The menu is what you would expect from a bbq eatery. The plethora of gluten free options was great since I must eat this way. I went with the brisket sandwich on a gluten free bun. The bun very quickly surrendered as anyone with gf experience expects. My wife and son did the tacos and nachos and we were all satisfied with portions and flavor profiles. We will be back.
With breathtaking views of the island and water, this hidden gem offers generous portions and a memorable atmosphere that's hard to beat.

The Tea Room at Fort Mackinac is an absolute treasure. While they don't specifically advertise gluten-free options, I had the baby salad with added chicken and, as someone with celiac, had no issues. The portions were generous, and my kid loved the grilled cheese. However, the real highlight is the stunning view overlooking the island and water—it's simply breathtaking. The service was quick and friendly, making our visit a memorable one. A must-see spot when you're at Fort Mackinac!

Mission Point Resort's Bistro On The Greens had delicious gluten free options, and the servers such as Keciene were accommodating and didn't mind bringing lemons for our water, taking our family photos, etc. All of our encounters at Mission Point Resort were outstanding because they have such fabulous people working there.
Shared shrimp fajitas with a friend- we were both full and the sauce was just delicious! They adhered to my friends gluten allergy via corn chips! Would go again!
This place is the Best deal on the island. You can get a kid's basket with a burger, fries and a drink. They let you refill your drink as long as you keep your cup. They even accommodate gluten and dairy free. They gave me a grilled chicken breast on a bed of lettuce instead of a bun. No extra charge. I got fries and a drink for the regular basket price. Friendly, yummy and affordable.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with live music and attentive service, perfect for a lively lunch experience.

We had a great experience! I read reviews beforehand and decided that, if we were not tended to within ten minutes (seated, menus, and first drinks), then we would leave and find somewhere else. Our waiter was excellent and provided us with all of the above, plus took care of a cross-contamination issue in regard to my gluten intolerance which I hadn’t even taken into account! We had a lovely experience with live music and a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend visiting The Jockey Club if it is at lunchtime and not too busy. GF lobster roll is fantastic!
Enjoy lovely views while the piano sets the mood, with a personable vibe that keeps things fun and efficient.

DELICIOUS! I am gluten-free/sensitive and dairy free. I was able to order a hamburger without the bun to include bacon and mayo, and they made it look amazing and taste delicious! They were also incredibly fast. I highly recommend this place while you’re on Mackinac Island. It reminds me of an old time long skinny diner. Not a lot of seating but because they are fast, we got in right away.
