I wish I lived closer! I'm up in Bergen County but dined here last night while visiting my folks in Freehold. Any gluten-free peeps like me know finding good (and safe) Chinese food is near impossible...well, Peking Pavilion is a unicorn! The calamari appetizer was scrumptious and I believe breaded with rice flour. And my gluten-free chicken and broccoli was divine. Can't wait to visit again soon!

This is the only place I feel safe ordering in from as someone with food allergies. I have a dairy and gluten allergy and they are so accommodating with the dishes. You get big portions for a good price and the food is always so fresh. I also have a super stomach with some problems so I always feel icky eating out and since the food is cooked in high quality oil I never feel icky after eating here which is SO rare for me. The owner is incredibly kind and told me how she also has food allergies and is happy to make modifications and help. It’s so rare that restaurants welcome modifications and she always does so for me. I’ve never gotten sick here and it’s the one restaurant I feel comfortable ordering in from and look forward to doing so every week. The entire staff is helpful and are always kind and respectful even when the phone is ringing like crazy and there’s a line for pick up. They never rush you and always make you feel welcome. A local gem- thank you to the incredibly owner for giving us allergy people a safe place with delicious food and for accommodating me with a smile. I appreciate you so much. Very delicious Greek food! We went for family dinner and everything was super fresh and good. The vibe was also very nice. We had the Grilled Octopus as an appetizer and it was very tasty! My fiancé got the special of the prawn and lollipop lamb chops and I got the shrimp skewer platter. We also got the cheese balls (which are gluten free!) everything so very good!

Recently visited this restaurant while my wife and I were attending our nieces engagement party. The atmosphere was really nice and comforting. The service was top notch. Being someone who lives on a gluten free diet I was pleasantly surprised when I was being accomendated when I honestly was prepared to knowing that I would only be eating the ceaser salad. They provided gluten free pasta and the chicken Parmesan they provided grilled chicken. I was beyond surprised. I didn't want to ask my niece about any gluten free options as this was her day and decided to just go with it. Great job guys are in my book you went above and beyond.

As an individual with celiac disease, I know cross contamination is always a risk. At Mezza Luna, it's the lack of attention from Management, to Wait staff, to kitchen staff that was the problem. The menu provided listed a linguini dish that was available gluten free. When I placed the order, I explained that I had a medical condition, and needed the gluten free version. When the plate arrived at the table, I asked the waiter if the dish was gluten free, and he affirmed it was. It only took one bite for me to know that it wasn't gluten free, and the waiter went back to the kitchen and confirmed with the kitchen staff that it wasn't gluten free. He retrieved the entree I could not eat, and I waited for the gluten free version to be prepared, while the rest of my party ate their meals. When the replacement arrived, the waiter said the confusion was that the restaurant doesn't serve gluten free linguini, only penne, despite what the menu clearly states, and despite my notifying him of my condition. After all of this still, no one apologized. Not the waiter, and not anyone among management. As a place that fosters such an ethos among their staff, and no one from management caring to provide customer service, I can say it is not likely I will ever recommend visiting, nor will I pay them a return visit.

First time eating here! Cute and cozy pizzeria with a dining room in the back. The food was so delicious, we ordered fried calamari, chicken parm sandwich and small margarita pizza. I really like the chicken parm because it was thin cutlets on semolina bread, so good. Pizza was thin crust and Krispy just the way we like it. Service was great, very friendly. Looking forward to take the family the next time. They also have gluten free things on the menu.

Have been going here for many years and this was the first time in two years. Plenty of menu choices, regular and gluten free pasta or vegetables, and consistently well prepared. They started serving salmon again as a choice about six months ago, after dropping it over three years ago. Menu includes shrimp, mussels, veal, chicken, eggplant, etc. Dinner includes a crisp green salad and fresh bread. Large portions and good service at a moderate price.
