The food was excellent and the staff was very well-informed about gluten allergies. They were friendly and helpful in explaining what I could and couldn't eat.
I live in Lexington SC but anytime we travel near a Culver’s I HAVE to stop! Best gluten free burger buns ever!!! I hope they come to Lexington someday!!
**Not Celiac Safe, Gluten sensitives beware**
After asking all safety questions, and being assured that the GF pasta would be cooled separately etc. I found regular noodles (pasta shells) in with my GF rotini. Management handled the situation to the best of their ability (her husband is Celiac, so the understanding was definitely there).
The website states that the GF pasta is held separately. That is no longer the case. Management explained that it is no longer standard practice to keep the GF pasta separate as they were getting complaints about the use of plastic bags.
Such an awkward experience. The guy was training a girl and she didn't have an apron so he told her she was breaking hygiene standards right in front of me, then he proceeded to tap her with the inside part of the bowl he put my food into. The next time I came in I asked for my rice and beans on the side (I'm celiac and have to try everything out before I eat it otherwise I can get very ill, even if it is listed online that it's GF), and he was very rude to me. I'm not some kid doing a TikTok fad trying to get more food. If I'm paying $15 for a bowl of salad and steak I want to make sure that I'm not going to get sick eating it. He made me feel very uncomfortable for my allergy.
Great service, friendly staff, love the wide variety of foods. Being gluten-free can be difficult to eat at a lot if restaurants but Denny's always has delicious options!
Great, quick service and had lots of space to park. It was an easy on and off the highway, and they did a great job of taking care of a family member with celiac disease.
It was ok. We went on an extremely slow night and didn't realize they didn't have a wait staff initially so we sat there for a while before we went to the bar to order. The beer selection was great and they do have a gluten free option for pizza which was nice. Given there was no one in the restaurant, I was thinking my food would have been hot, but it wasn't, it was just warm. My husband got a sandwich that cost $10, with very little on it, and was less than impressed. It's a great atmosphere, but the food quality for the cost was a bit disappointing. We may have gone on bad night, because I have always heard good things about the restaurant, but our visit was not one that would make me want to go back.
