Homegrown hangout boasting craft beer and unique (and dare I say, gourmet) hotdog combos—personal favorite is the “Classy Lady”. Always delicious with excellent, speedy service. Delighted to see gluten free buns on the menu!
Expect unique coffee creations that elevate your beverage game, plus a cool vibe that’s just a bit noisy but totally worth it!

I absolutely love coming here to work. The employees are kind and charismatic, the facilities are clean, the music and the vibes are great.
One MAJOR issue…
If you have a gluten sensitivity (namely celiac disease) I’d consider skipping this place if you plan to order actual food! While they do offer gluten free options for pastries that they source from reliable, local GF bakeries, The Roosevelt themselves raise no caution when these pastries reach their care when it comes to cross contamination. As a celiac myself, it is just so disappointing to see.
Their prepackaged pastries from Cherbourg are fine, but if you are interested in their new GF/vegan donut options, just forget it. They are almost always cross contaminated. They sit on the same plate as other vegan (but VERY GLUTEN) pastries. If they just moved them to a separate plate, or dedicated the top shelf to their GF options, everything would be fine. I really didn’t want to leave a negative review on this place, but I’ve raised this issue to several employees on separate occasions and no action is ever taken, so this is sort of a last ditch effort. It’s just horribly disappointing. I love this place, I just wish they took this specific issue more seriously. If I’m going to pay a fortune for a GF pastry, I want to eat it with the peace of mind that its safe for my consumption. Coffee & justice for all…but not for celiacs :(
Comfortable vibes and a diverse menu make this spot a winner, despite some steep drink prices and mediocre coleslaw.

I had a nice time there. It is a place I could get comfortable in a hurry! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. My wife has Celiac and the bartender did too. She was able to help my wife navigate the menu and everything turned out good! They have many menu items I would love to try! The loaded tots were killer! Corned beef and kraut! Yumm!
Two things stuck out on the negative side, one, the coleslaw, seemed like salad with mayo. Very minor, easily forgivable. The second, the mixed drink cost. I believe a double Titos and soda was $18. That is nuts! may as well drink at the airport. At least at the airport the second shot is at a discount...
All of that said, I will avoid the mixed drinks, but I will not avoid the establishment. I will return to try more of the menu and I'll stick with a beer!
Had a salad. It came in this huge mixing bowl. They were sensitive to my gluten issues and double checked everything to make sure I could eat it safely. The salad made me happy b/c there was enough extras. Most places give you a salad with little extra toppings (cheese, bacon, etc). I actually had a couple bites of just the toppings! Atmosphere is really neat as well. The story behind the name is pretty cool and you should check it out. They have specials every day.
