We go to Carthage a lot and drive down 70 every time to hit up Painturos.
I love the sandwiches and the rest of my family loves the pizza. My youngest daughter has Celiac and adores their gluten free pizza. It’s not the generic one most places serve.
The staff are friendly every time. Just a great spot for lunch or dinner.
An unforgettable venue with a perfect atmosphere, stellar service, and memorable desserts that leave guests raving long after the event.

I can’t say enough good things. You all were amazing. The rehearsal dinner was nothing but PERFECT!!!! Everyone loved the food, atmosphere and the Desserts were talked about all night . You all accommodated some of our gluten free guests. Our server was amazing. She didn’t let anyone run out of drinks and kept everything neat and orderly. She ran her tail off for us last night and was so personable. She made everyone feel right at home.
Thank you Sammy B’s for making my son and future daughter in laws rehearsal dinner absolutely beautiful!
With great appreciation,

Came here for the first time last night and left mildly disappointed. The food menu was large but they had minimal options for people with gluten allergies, like myself. I saw they had a cauliflower/gluten free pizza crust and couldn’t pass it up. My friend and I split the garden up pizza. When it came out, I confirmed with our server that it was indeed a cauliflower/gluten free crust - she said yes. After eating several slices and seeing how fluffy the crust was and it smelling like regular flour, I knew there was no way it was certified gluten free. I ended up getting sick. Our service was also not great. Was definitely a disappointment as the location is phenomenal.
Edit to add that I had (flat) soda water to drink. I took a small taste of my friends bushwhacker.
Located just off the square, this cozy spot offers a variety of fresh options and a relaxed vibe, perfect for a casual lunch outing.

What a pleasant surprise just off the square in DT Lebanon. I enjoyed a yummy PB&J bowl that was both delicious and filling. My lunch mates raved about the chicken salad on a croissant and the chicken enchilada soup. Everything is fresh, food allergies are easily addressed and I was thrilled to see so many options - gluten free. The restaurant and rest room are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the vibe inside is casual and seating is available (but as a skin cancer survivor not an option as no shade). Typical
Of a downtown location, parking is tight - but there’s plenty of spots if you’re willing to walk from the square. Please don’t park in the museum lot next door - but they’re kind and warn you if they’re about to chain the lot.
Enjoy a welcoming vibe where unique flavors meet thoughtful service, and leave with a smile and your belongings safe.

What a GREAT place! I just discovered they carry gluten-free bread. I can’t have gluten and the only dairy I can have is a tiny amount of cheese. Because they have the big slicer there, they were able to slice me 2 thin shavings of provolone—the first time I’ve had cheese on a sandwich in 10+ years. My sandwich was incredible! And when you’re not used to cheese, those thin shavings pack a powerful punch of flavor.
And…..I accidentally left my purse there. It was 45 minutes later when I realized. They were so kind. They had found my name already and were looking up how to reach me by the time I called. They put it in a locked box and kept it there until I picked it up. They were so kind.
Absolutely fantastic food! Delicious and large portions. Highly recommend! Very aware of allergies. I am allergic to gluten, wheat, egg and nuts and can eat almost everything in the restaurant.
Last 2 times I have been longer wait if you are unfortunately in outer line. Today I ordered a gluten free bun sandwich for a 7 year old only to wait forever and have no bun for the sandwich. Disappointing lunch for a 7 year old. There had to be at least 6 people getting food together at drive thru and my order was small this is so disappointing. Won’t stop here anymore!!
