They say they have gluten free options but someone with celiacs comes in like myself, if you don’t ask about the “gluten free” items being put in the same fryer , you’ll absolutely get sick due to cross contamination.The onigiri was okay again no ingredients on what it’s seasoned with.
The chicken Katsu was beyond mediocre.
EDIT: i got the salmon, tuna and steak Onigiri that is listed gluten free, and i got sick on the drive home! I would say not gluten free! Completely unacceptable.

Love their al pastor and cheek’n tacos! The birria plate is also awesome. The service is always good, and we always leave Nissi full and happy :)
One piece of constructive feedback for the owner: please continue to educate your employees on the difference between your gluten free and non gluten free proteins. Today, I ordered two al pastor tacos and one cheekn taco for takeout. The employee kindly included an extra fourth taco (I assume because there was a little bit of a wait, but it was lunch time so I completely understand!). The fourth taco was clearly not al pastor or cheekn, and I have to assume from other photos online that it was carne asada, which is not GF according to your menu. Sadly I had to throw it out :( but more importantly, there were pieces of the carne asada in my other tacos. This is problematic for celiacs like me and people who eat gf for other medical reasons. I usually feel super safe eating at Nissi, and I have NEVER had a problem before. I just needed to bring this to someone’s attention because accidentally serving someone with celiac gluten is unacceptable, and it’s an avoidable mistake.
