So disappointed in the food. The bacon was not crispy .people were nice, service was fine. We were traveling and this was my first time eating at a Culver's. I'm gluten free and heard they have gf buns. The bun was great, but the burger was horrible. Fried to a crisp and so thin you could see through it. I think half of it stuck to the pan when they tried to remove it. The bacon was not fully cooked and not crisp. It doesn't make me want to try again.
A charming diner with a delightful menu, well-priced, and loved by many.

A very cute little diner with excellent staff and a delightful menu. I am celiac, so I ordered the double cheeseburger without a bun. It was so good and so well priced that I ordered a second. I will absolutely be back!
Gluten free accommodations, friendly staff, interesting decor, and good food. My favorite part is that the plates look like scratch and dents from a thrift shop; really adds character. I will be back!
Expect tasty sandwiches with reasonable portions, but be aware of extra charges and single-use cutlery.

I have gone here multiple times and I have really tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but....I've noticed that for the price there is some lacking of depth of flavor. Sandwiches, tacos, and salads seem to have the bare minimum of ingredients. For example, I tried the shrimp tacos and no sauce or anything came on it, just shrimp, lettuce (the lettuce was very very bitter), avocado, and tomato..that's it. They are not cheap either. Same with the tomato motz sandwich. Only two measly dime sized pieces of motz and barely any pesto. It was so so dry!
Also, I have ordered from here and asked for extra mayo, avocado, or extra cheese, ect. to help boost the flavor and I have been way overcharged for extras like that. They have even give me a refund because they admitted that they overcharged me. ($17 shrimp tacos on a corn tortilla and only asked for chipotle mayo to be added and extra avocado. Even took off the tomatos)
I have made them aware of food allergies (gluten) and they were good about it in the past but i've noticed a level of annoyance the last few times when I ask if something is gluten free or if it can be made gluten free. I have always ordered pick up but have always left tips. I also have kindly told them that things are lacking a little flavor or that things are a bit dry and I was met with defensiveness instead of understanding and a desire to take criticism and make things better.
Unfortunately I don't think i'll be back. If they decide to make the food more flavorful to justify the cost and tell staff to be kind to those that patron, then I may consider coming in again.
Who knows, maybe they are understaffed, can't get certain ingredients, or have some personal things going on...but something needs to change.
