I'm a big fan of moonbowls!
-Excellent taste! I had the tofu bowl and really enjoyed the various toppings (you get upto 5). My favorites: fresno chiles, roasted corn, citrus kale.
-Fast delivery, everything was very fresh
-Vegans, vegetarians and gluten free people can easily order. Love that the menu is so nicely labeled.
-Other favorites: The various sauces (ginger-soy and creamy sesame), and sweet potato dumplings

Gluten Free!!! This place has amazing Korean food and the gluten free dishes were amazing. Our Celiac family member loved the food and had no reaction after the meal. Highly recommend. Quite honestly, the best food we had during our one week stay in SF.
My review from 2018 is below, but I want to update since their grand re-opening!
2023: loved the crew before they closed to renovate, and I love it even more since the grand reopening! They re-vamped the menu and aesthetics, and it’s gone from casual local favorite to an elevated experience, while the prices are still just as affordable! They even have more gluten free and vegan options, but kept all the classics like bibimbap and Korean BBQd meats prepared in authentic Korean style. I will be going back regularly, it’s a 10/10!
2018 review: Best Korean BBQ in the city! Korean BBQ places are not always very inclusive for people that have food allergies, but gluten free and vegan options are easily found here, and the lovely staff is always happy to accommodate. These folks are famous in the city for their Kim Chi, as well, so it is not to be missed!
Very difficult to find rice cakes in any capacity of take out so I was excited from the start. The kimchi burrito with only a $1 up charge for beef bulgogi was very affordable, especially for the size of the burrito and handmade chips. Thoroughly impressed and would recommend those visiting to try, especially if you’re not wanting to drop $40-60 for a meal! From my understanding though, very limited if any at all gluten free options (which is expected since most items have soy sauce)
Expect a unique sandwich experience with crispy rice buns and flavorful ingredients that'll leave you raving for more!

The short rib koja, a unique sandwich made from crispy rice as the buns, was one of the best things I've eaten in some time. Many an expletive of excitement was uttered while munching. The meat was moist, tender and flavorful, topped with an excellent slaw. It's easy to taste the quality of ingredients used and expertise of preparation. I'm not being hyperbolic; this is my new favorite food item in all of SF, and it's naturally gluten free which unfortunately I need, so I'm double pysched.
Beyond that, service was warm and friendly. I was promptly greeted, and asked to be helped. Though I declined, able to use the self service kiosk, and elderly gentleman behind me was guided through his order as I waited, which I appreciated.
