Boat House Waterfront Dining

The food was certainly the highlight of our visit to the Boat House - my lamb was quite good but my partner’s cod with grits was phenomenal and well balanced. The seven stars focaccia (always delicious in its own right) was elevated with an array of spreads - heavenly. For me, the show stopper was our cake - limoncello mascarpone - not something I’d usually go for but truly divine. And, gluten free! Drinks were solid - Negroni was excellent - and the service and location were good. 4.5 stars.

Felicia was an outstanding waitress. She was very knowledgeable on gluten-free options. Very attentive with our table as well. She was honestly one of the best servers we’ve ever had. The food was excellent! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. My husband loved the cod sandwich and calamari. The atmosphere has a great vibe and beautiful views. We will definitely be back.

Stop by without a reservation so there were no outside seating available. We sat at a booth behind hostess’s stand. You could still see outside. Our waitress was wonderful,she took the time to hear our allergies and confirmed with the kitchen. Which has a separate fryer for celiac (fish and chips gluten free) and change other dish they adjusted for a MSG allergies.special sandwich The food came out delicious.
