We tried Favazza’s around 1:30 p.m., so it wasn’t busy at all. Overall, it was just okay—an expensive, average experience. We started with the toasted ravioli, which was actually pretty good, nice, and crispy with a flavorful filling. For entrées, we had the manicotti, the pasta con broccoli with pink sauce, and the gluten-free shrimp with pasta, plus a dinner salad. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional, especially for the price. We sat on the patio, which was unfortunately extremely loud—even with few people around, the noise echoed and made conversation difficult. Service was a real disappointment. Our waitress was not attentive and kept disappearing for long stretches, leaving us waiting for refills and check-ins. In the end, it felt like we paid more than the quality and experience justified.

I adore Favazza's! The service is exceptional, perhaps the best in St. Louis. I've sampled everything on their menu, including the gluten-free options, and it's all fantastic. I'm particularly fond of their bread; I could easily dine there just for the bread. The pasta with shrimp is always a delightful choice, and the steak mudega with loaded potato is superb. The atmosphere is quite versatile; certain areas are perfect for a lunch date with a friend, while the back area, with its fireplace, offers a more intimate setting. The bar provides a relaxed spot for a drink. I would highly recommend a visit if you haven't been there.

Scallops were not worth what we paid. Decent gluten free menu.
