Hula Hoops Restaurant & Tiki Bar

This is my third visit at Hula Hoops and the friendly, attentive service remains consistent. I don't live nearby otherwise I would visit more often since I like the easy-going ambience here. The place was packed on Saturday and it was only 4pm. Food is yummy - Filipino Hawaiin fusion! I love that I can have gluten-free loco moco (mochiko chicken; ask for gravy on the side). Note, it comes with macaroni (not gf) and rice. The chicken has that perfect crunch and tender meat. It's not too greasy nor too salty. My mom had the wings which she enjoyed. I was expecting it to be like spicy hot wings but it was more garlicky with Asian spices. The lumpia is, of course, our staple go-to. I actually prefer their brunch menu; wished that was served all day! Looking forward to coming back. There's many more dishes I want to try.

Would have given it 5 stars if I were basing it on the opinions from the company I was with. They all loved and raved it all minus the sisig pizza. That was a fail. I gave it 4 stars because it's not very gluten friendly. Not even their fries are gf because they use the same oil to fry their non gluten free stuff
