Absolute shambles. We booked for a party of 10 and were told we would need to provide our food & drinks orders in advance. The advance food orders was somewhat understandable, but advance drinks orders is a simply ludicrous request, and one which we justifiably declined. We were told we would need to order 6 of the same set menus, which massively complicated logistics as our party contained a range of dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Despite having ordered 6 set menus, we were surprised to find only around 3 of each dish was being brought out, which is not what we were told would be the case when we made the booking. And to charge £50pp for such a small quantity of food was simply day light robbery. When we asked various members of staff questions about the dishes, such as who's order they belonged to, or what quantities of each dish we would receive, none of them had the faintest of ideas what was going on. Nor were they particularly polite. Also, during the payment stage we were asked to pull out our calculators and run some of the numbers ourselves, this is something I would expect to be handled by the restaraunt using an automated system. In the end the manager deducted some set menus from the final bill after we complained, which we were grateful for but still overall a massively disappointing and dreadful experience.
