Moxies Hunt Club Restaurant

Just having arrived back home from a long work trip, I took the family to Moxie's for a fun night out. Kids loved the atmosphere and the server and managers made our stay welcoming and warm. Outstanding food also. Had the blackened shrimp tacos and my wife had the crispy chicken sandwich (her fave). Kids are well also and they were able to accommodate my son's gluten intolerance and the manager even came out to ensure we were satisfied with their solutions. Definitely going back for date night!

We were a group of 3 and it was not the best experience we usually have at Moxies at different locations. 1. The indoor salon had flies circling and kept attacking us & our food, we understand it's summer and very hard to keep bugs away, but it had set the mood 2. The smashed avocado deep was delicious and I usually enjoy this appetizer with awesome choice of gluten free chips, however my friend caught a sticker from Avocados in her mouth , she almost swalled it. We jocked that it means that this was actually made from real Avocados and the manager was apologetic and removed it from our bill. He offered to bring another dish but we kindly refused. 3. The special Passion fruit cocktail was rather blant and tasteless, it tasted like it was too diluted with water/ice and lacked in taste. 4. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, and tried to fix little issues and came to check in on my friend who has severe shell fish allergy toensure her that kitchen table and utensils have been fully cleaned to prep her food, and to just check in since there were couple of complaints 5. I had steak and mash with Ceasar salad, which tasted good , but not the best I had :) Overall I think I'd come back only because of the pleasant staff and our waitress.
