I was THRILLED when I stumbled across this bakery today. I couldn’t believe my eyes! A gluten free bakery! I got three cupcakes, two butter tarts, and an apple crisp, and everything was absolutely 10/10. The texture of the cupcakes was AMAZING— absolutely blown away. Thank you!!!!!

As 3 out of 4 of us are celiac, we're limited to where we eat, so rarely eat out due to cross contamination and lack of protocols. This place was amazing!!! Omg, food was delicious, and service was phenomenal! Best of all, it was safe! Took my son here for his birthday. Stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed! Parking on site or on streets, we had no difficulty finding parking:)

Two friends and I had a lovely Moms Day off brunch here. First time visiting, I’d googled places my friend, who’s celiac, would be able to find good options. We opened the door and were greeted with a smile from the host and the wonderful smells of fresh baked goodies. There wasn’t a wait, but I wouldn’t have minded as I’d have had more time to look through to-go items for sale in the front. Our sever was friendly and prompt. Helped me decide between two things I was interested in, thoroughly assured my friend on what was gluten-free, substitutes to make things so, and our coffees were never empty. I will absolutely be coming back with my family soon.

Absolutely stellar experience at JWW! The owner was one of the most jovial food truck owners I’ve ever encountered and immediately made my fiancé and I feel welcomed as celiac diners. Jimmy was quick to ease our fears about CC and went above and beyond to offer our little pup an ice cream treat while we waited. We ordered several things off the menu for takeout including the corn dog, chicken club, chicken dinner and fries. We immediately drove it over to my parent’s place for lunch and it travelled beautifully (didn’t go soggy or cold). We were over the moon with the taste and texture and have raved about it to all our family and friends ever since (GF and non GF folk alike) because you absolutely can’t tell the difference. Thank you for catering to celiacs, a growing group of customers often dismissed/overlooked in the food space, and we can’t wait to dine with you again!

It's a small place and very popular. I took my sister here who has a gluten allergy and she had grilled cheese with lentil bread (pictured and almost finished). She loved it and they do not skimp out on the cheese. I had the Oaxaca sandwich which was very good and the spiciness was just right, paired with a Thai carrot soup. Coffee was good and served in a big glass mug. We had a window view which was a bit cramped but felt alright. You see so many people come in of all ages and backgrounds. Servers were friendly, left us mostly alone and revisited when needed. Atmosphere is very local and rustic.

Disappointed that the brunch menu on mother's day did not offer a gluten free option for the only sweet (french toast) item on the menu. The traditional breakfast of tofu scramble and tempeh bacon was cold and unappetizing. The bread had not been toasted. I have been here multiple times for dinner but will not be back for the brunch. Left hungry, disappointed and $100 out of pocket.

Pesto pasta was delicious (very flavourful). Gluten free penne was slightly overcooked and falling apart. I upgraded my dish to include chicken (an extra $6). I was expecting to see either strips of grilled chicken or a whole chicken breast on the plate. There were only a few chicken breast chunks. I was a little disappointed with the amount of chicken for $6.

Lovely location! Brought my non-veggie/vegan family members and they were absolutely blown away. One of my family members has celiac and the server was very accommodating and knowledgeable. It's nice to come to place where everyone can eat without worrying. The service is always amazing and the food always tasty! The portions are more than generous. Super fun place, great food, great service. Had a blast. 100% Gluten Free. Huge, varied menu. Great cocktails, lots of flavours of margaritas. All serviced super fast, super friendly. We had a great experience dining at Joey Rideau! Our food was delicious. Highly recommend the steak frites (this dish is also celiac safe, if you cannot have gluten). Our server Daphne was very kind and made sure that we enjoyed everything! We were celebrating our anniversary and it was lovely.

I know the food is good here and they cater to gluten free as well. On Saturday we were in the area and saw the sign "Serving Breakfast and Lunch all day" It was 3:00 p.m and they close at 4:00. We were looking forward to a crepe. When we got to the counter they told us we couldn't order crepes because they were closing soon. An hour seems a bit much as a cut off time to order a crepe. Especially with most restaurants saying they are struggling these days... They only at that time sell what is on the counter which we could not have because of being gluten free. Super disappointing. I'm quite sure I would of given them a 5 star for the food.

This was my first time ordering from there. Read a lot of reviews saying how good their fish and chips were, even on a gluten free app. People saying the best fish and chips in town. Sadly I would disagree. Ordered the dill gluten free, 2 piece with fries for pick up for lunch today to share. We both found the fish to be lacking in flavour. The fish was cooked nicely, and the batter was really crispy, but it needs more flavour. Also, nothing on the menu says what type of fish it is, or that there is a gluten free option. And the fries, although it says they're handcut, weren't very crispy either. While I was waiting for my food, it was sitting in the box on the counter wide open too, and even though the drive home was only about 5 minutes, the food was barely warm when we went to eat it.

The food was okay, but our experience was disappointing. It was a very busy evening at the restaurant, making it difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level. We had to speak very loudly just to hear each other. For dessert, we ordered five gluten-free cheesecakes (four for takeout and one to try at the restaurant) and one cinnamon bun with ice cream. After tasting the cheesecake and the cinnamon bun, we decided we didn’t like the cheesecake’s flavor and asked to change our takeout order of four gluten-free cheesecakes to four cinnamon buns with ice cream instead. We informed the waiter that we had tried one cheesecake and didn’t enjoy the taste, so we no longer wanted the four cheesecakes for takeout. However, the waiter insisted that we still had to pay for the cheesecakes because they had already been boxed. While they offered a 10% discount if we wished to purchase the cinnamon buns, we found this resolution unsatisfactory. Overall, we left feeling very disappointed with the experience.

This place was very busy during the holidays. Many many MANY dessert options, including gelato, as well as what looked like great actual lunch food options too. They had decent vegan brownies (my friend said) and I had a very good gluten free triple chocolate cake! My husband had a coffee, and his friend had a fancy latte which had a picture on the top! Think slightly higher pricing than Starbucks but much fresher and better quality, as well as much more accessible for those with food allergies or sensitivities. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and desserts, but it was a bit of a wait. This was the second time my husband and I had tried to go here with friends, the first time there was no seating left for 3, so we left, but this time we had 5 people and eventually we got seating. My husband and I were there for about 25 minutes waiting for a table for 5. We could have put a couple tables together ourselves, but I think they didn't let us do that because of fire-safety exit protocols, so we had to wait. There is self-serve water which is great. The place has lots of windows and comfortable seating of various types (arm chairs and regular chairs at tables). Highly recommend if you're visiting or living in Orleans, especially if you can go back at a less busy time.

The pizza is incredible, the owner is an absolute gentleman and TRUE Italian in every sense of the word. The pizza margarita is sublime, simple, delicious and full of authentic flavours, feels and renoncent reminders of visiting Italy and it’s true approach to pizza prepared. As a gluten sensitive individual - giving up pizza for the last few years has been devastating. The gluten free margarita here? Is truly chefs kiss! The front of house team (servers) are warm, patient and approachable. This building (previously occupied by the late wonderful Bob and the beloved team at stoneface) has clearly inherited another gem - in Del Piacere. Love this place! A must try and repeat - repeatedly ❤️

I had the pleasure of eating here on Friday the 14th. The wait was more than reasonable we were told it would be about 45 min, we left our name and returned 35min later as requested and waited less than 10 min to be seated. The service was impeccable we had fresh and delicious coffee on the table within 3 min of sitting down. I ordered the special of Chicken and waffles Eggs benedict with the Jerk Plantains as my side. The flavour's presented were truly fantastic. I truly look forward to dining here again. Gluten free options were available and also extremely tasty according to the Celiac I dined with.

I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I was in the area for business and stopped here for dinner. I ordered the mahi mahi fish entree and it was arguably one of the best meals of my life. The service is very quick, professional and outstanding. What impressed me the most was the attention and care they take when preparing and serving meals for gluten-free (GF) diners like me. They can prepare must dishes GF upon request. Seldom have I witnessed such attention to detail with precautions taken. The GF cheesecake dessert was something to die for. I want to travel back to Kanata merely to dine at this location. Overall experience was nice for a night out with my girls! The service was great and the atmosphere was modern/chic and cozy. Atlantic Salmon (4/5): the salmon was moist, there was plenty of sauce (I’m a sauce connoisseur) and the zucchini paired well. I would have appreciated something fresh to help cut the heaviness of the dish. However; it was still a light and tasty dish! I also ordered a piece of their focaccia on the side to get all the sauce Pappardelle (4/5): Made with gluten free pasta for our gluten free friend! It was a good cream sauce dish, can’t go wrong here. Beef Tenderloin (4/5): Other than the beef being a little overdone than requested, the dish was also very good! Baked Rigatoni Alla Vodka (4/5): spicier than I am used to with vodka pastas but still good for those that have any spicy tolerance higher than mine (spice level: 3/5) Oysters (4/5): Decently sized! I just wish the lemons were cut into wedges rather than slices. Pumpkin Spice Flan (4/5): Creamy, smoothie and reminds me of fall Fall ‘set’ Cheesecake (4/5): A deconstructed cheesecake with bourbon soaked cherries. The cheese part of the cake was almost a whipped texture and the crumble was good! I wish the cheese part would have been a bit more solid and I would have appreciated more of the cherry ‘sauce’ on the plate. I would recommend this place to friends and would go again!

Just having arrived back home from a long work trip, I took the family to Moxie's for a fun night out. Kids loved the atmosphere and the server and managers made our stay welcoming and warm. Outstanding food also. Had the blackened shrimp tacos and my wife had the crispy chicken sandwich (her fave). Kids are well also and they were able to accommodate my son's gluten intolerance and the manager even came out to ensure we were satisfied with their solutions. Definitely going back for date night!

Delicious and great for gluten free!! I swapped in the gluten free cinnbon pancakes in the breakfast stack, also swapped for all bacon since the sausage isn't gf and fruit for hash browns which aren't gf. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff when I asked about gf and allergy is marked on the bill too. Felt safe (despite the pancakes being so good I was slightly concerned lol) and no issues after (I'm celiac). There were extra charges for the swaps but I'm ok with that if I can eat great, safe food! Very clean updated space including the bathroom.

Mes compliments au chef! Le Mango nectar aussi, un vrai délice sucrée! Et pour finir en beauté, une tarte au chocolat, qui était sans gluten, mais quand même excellente, même si je ne suis pas céliaque ;) Le service était charmant et les deux employés étaient super sympathiques! C'était une belle ambiance tranquille et bien décoré malgré le petit espace, mais j'ai su que dans 6 semaines ils auront un plus grand local juste à côté avec vu sur la rue ! Made reservations to eat here with a group of 5 friends, and I’m So glad I did as it was packed ! It was our first time here and we all really enjoyed our meals. The only downfall was once we placed our order, it took almost 45 minutes to get our meals so it felt long for sure lol I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they handled my meals great. I got the steak and eggs, the home fries are GF (minus cross contamination from the fryer) and they have GF toast (not pictured). My friends got eggs Benny, the French toast and the club sandwich, and everyone really liked their meals and had no complaints. Would definitely visit here again - even with the wait time of the busy restaurant !

I liked this restaurant enough that I would definitely go back. The wine list is interesting, and they have a robust NA menu. I had the plant based 'meat' balls and I enjoyed my food, and the portion size was large enough for a meal. I would like to come back here again and try the small plates instead. It was a little pricey: two glasses of wine, a plate of meatless balls, and a dessert came to just over 100 dollars with tip for one person, so I would say coming here is more of a treat. Definitely check it out if you want to try some tasty plant based food options! They also seem to have extensive gluten free options on their menu.
