I will forgive the poor service due to staffing however cramming 7 people on a table meant for 6 while there are plenty of four tops available next to each other was, well let's just say unpleasant. Now let's talk about the food. Three small pieces of bread were brought out for 7 to share. My sister's chicken parmigiana had a metal shaving in it. My wife is doubled over in pain from her gluten allergy. She ordered the gluten free pasta but it seems that they used the same water to warm the pasta up as the regular pasta. A big no no for an allergy. My mother's meatball was barely warm. Management was nice enough to take the chicken parmigiana off the bill and apologized for the error. Unfortunately they were not aware of the hell my wife was in for by the time we arrived home. Again I can forgive poor service because of staffing but only when the food delivers. I would not go back to this restaurant and recommend others to stay away with many other options available for Italian. I hope they improve and find success but I'm not going through the trouble to convince my family to try this place again. One star is the lowest allowed, I wish there was a lower grade.
And just look at the response and you can see how out of touch the management is with their customers. I can assure you that the only thing my wife ate yesterday prior to her stomach issues was the pasta. Unless you used rancid clams the gluten free pasta was not cooked in different water from the regular pasta. I would steer clear of a restaurant that cannot handle food allergies properly. I do wish this business the best and I hope that they get their processes in order.
