This place exceeded expectations. Excellent food, drinks and service. We started with raw clams and spicy margaritas and then had two pasta dishes for entrees. My partner is gluten free and they offer gluten free pasta which was great! Everything tasted and was presented beautifully. Serving sizes were very generous - I took at least half my entree home! Our server was friendly, professional and quick. We will be back!

We ordered 4 pizzas to dine in. One was gluten free. She brings 3 pizzas out. We wait for 25 minutes and ask where the gluten free pizza was. She said this is it. We asked why she put it in front of another couple. It was 3/4 eaten. She said she would order another gluten free. 1/2 hour later I asked another waiter where the gluten free pizza was. I then said give us our bill. Paid the bill and needless to say she got no tip. It was like she didn’t want to be there. Not attentive. Very poor service. She took the pizza off our bill and we never got the one that was reordered.

My first time here. The perfect choice and a great evening. The food was delicious. I’m celiac as well as having a dairy allergy. My waitress Julia couldn’t have been more accommodating. She made sure my meal was perfect. Very friendly and professional. Top notch service! Brian the manager was excellent. He too made sure I had the best service as well as making me feel like family while there. I was celebrating my birthday and he went out of his way to make the evening a great one for me. Great restaurant and great staff. Highly recommended :)

Awesome pizza, very unique and tasty pizza selection and variety. (Regular classics and Thai/Mexican/etc). The best customer service of any restaurant ive been to, every time i go there. Restaurant manager and servers are super attentive, friendly and pleasant Very consistently excellent food and service, never disappointed. Also gluten-free options for people with Celiac's.

I’m gluten intolerant and I love the original margarita (no red sauce, just light olive oil on crust). I asked and was very thrilled to have it the way I like it, even though it’s not on your menu. We go out every Monday for pizza and have “finally” found our pizza place while we are down here for the winter. We are so happy!

We had a wonderful dining experience! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We asked if they had gluten free options and they said absolutely! I asked if I could have Frutto di Mare pasta when it was only in the menu for the risotto and they that of course! It was DELICIOUS!!! My daughter’s gluten free pasta was amazing too. And my husband loved his pasta too. Thank you so much! We will be back for sure during our vacation! We highly recommend Flavio’s!

Had a fabulous meal at this lovely local restaurant. Located on Main Street in downtown Sarasota, they offer indoor and outdoor dining. Unpretentious and very European feeling with little tables scattered on the sidewalk. The service was prompt and the food excellent. Probably the best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy. As an aside, I noted that most dishes can be made gluten-free should that be a requirement, something seen frequently in Europe but not so much in North America. Overall, a great meal and will definitely return on our next trip to Sarasota.

3x I’ve ordered from this place and have done regular crust and gluten free. Toppings are scarce and expensive and pizza is dry. They can say in the comments it’s about picking it up on time but both times it didn’t make a difference. Edit: I dropped it down from 2 to 1 stars because the reply was sarcastic rather than asking questions to rectify, just like the others. People shouldn’t be in business if they can’t take constructive criticism and try to fix it.

What a fantastic place! The food and desserts are amazing and they use imported flour and semolina from Italy to make their pizzas, desserts, and pasta. For those who can not have American gluten like my family the European gluten is simply amazing. Plus the service is amazing!

This is such a fun vibe for a group of people! The food was really tasty and a great size portion of pasta, which is hard to find. It was also pretty light on the sauce which made me leave not feeling too heavy or bloated. They have options for gluten free pasta too. My Italian margarita was a 100/10! The best of the best. The drinks took like 50 minutes to come out and the waitress brought us free garlic bread for the wait which was the sweetest thing ever. I will definitely be back! The service was so kind and the food was lovely.

Great selection in the market, even has gluten free pasta which is so great! The deli counter is full beautiful fresh olives, cheeses, meets and veggies. Subs are great and super fresh. The grab and go’s are convenient and come with reheating instructions and they are delicious. Employees are very nice and helpful, love this place!

Authentic Italian food. The owner was so genuine. He obviously has a passion for this type of work. He states he imports the flour from Italy. Pasta and focaccia bread is made in house. I am gluten free and I decided to eat the bread as he stated that the flour was from Italy…. No bloat & no discomfort! I had the grouper special and my mom had the porca puttena pasta which was incredible!!

Best pizza I’ve ever had!! The place welcomes you with cozy atmosphere and attentive service only adds to the experience. I’ve had pepperoni jalapeño and it left me absolutely speechless: perfect combination of home-made red sauce, high quality cheese blend, and other ingredients. Highly recommend to add a Greek salad to your order, they also have plenty of other vegetarian and gluten free options. Definitely will be back many more times with my friends and family!

We have been enjoying the food at Della Nonna's for a few years now and have always been impressed with the fresh quality, portions and variety of options. The new menu now has plant based, gluten free, vegan cheese options! We are ecstatic. They also offer delivery and we could not be more excited to keep enjoying their delicious options. Today we had the meatball pasta and a custom gluten free crust pizza with vegan cheese and multiple toppings. Everything tasted perfect, well cooked and fresh ingredients. UPDATE: I spoke with Mossimo the owner the today. He explained that the additional charge for substituting the sauce was an error and will make it right upon our next visit. Very classy move on his part! Deserves this upgraded review! Food is good. Cannot sent that. However, sad that a restaurant is still charging more for gluten free pasta. Also, two in our party ordered Penne Pesto with chicken and asked for Alla Vodka sauce instead. Those each cost an additional $3.00 for the vodka sauce even though we “paid” for the pesto sauce. So, $10 more for GF and Vodka sauce. Very disappointing that a restaurant like this needs to make money off of these hidden charges.
