We recently held my father’s wake at The Victoria Hotel in Woodend, with close to 400 people in attendance, and I cannot thank Emily and Tash enough. They are, hands down, one of the most amazing and supportive teams I’ve ever come across. Everything ran so smoothly—from the service to the atmosphere—but what truly stood out was the care and attention they gave to our family. They made sure we were eating, had a drink in hand, and never once let the scale of the event affect the warmth and personal attention they offered. A special thank you for the thoughtful care shown to me as a coeliac—it meant so much. We’ve had countless comments from guests about how beautiful the venue and service were. Thank you again, Emily and Tash—you helped us honour Dad in the most wonderful way. Highly recommend.

Had breakfast here this morning. I had the breakfast burrito (vegetarian) and a chai latte. Both were delicious. Then treated myself to the gluten free orange almond cake, which was stunning. Staff were super friendly, and had a lovely chat to the friendly and welcoming local owner Keiran. Will definitely be back.

Visited this delightful little cafe on Good Friday. Was extremely busy but staff were very friendly and trying to accommodate the large number of visitors. Very clear signs stating a meal needs to be ordered if you want to dine in. Some very rude people obviously didn’t read the sign and were arguing with the staff, very disappointing to see. Food was delicious and I was served by very friendly staff. Lots of gluten free options too. Will definitely be back!
