100000% recommend The Taco Shop. Cass, was an amazing server. She recommend us some drinks that were probably rhe best margaritas I've ever had. EVER. Me and my husband are gluten free and dairy free, and we had soooo many options. They were really good at recommending their favorite dishes, and they did NOT disappoint. We will 100% be back for tacos and margaritas here. The vibe is so fun! Also, bathrooms are totally selfie worthy 🤣🤣 If you made it this far in my review- you might as well just go eat there.

Came for supper, love that they offer gluten free options as we have a Celiac family member. Super busy, prime time to eat and was Family Day. Our waitress was super busy but still had a smile on her face and was very pleasant. Food was really good. Only drawback is the tight quarters, tables and people are packed in every tightly.

Ok so, I’ve been to river cafe only once before this, but each time has been absolutely splendid! The most recent time I went the staff were incredible and the food was maybe the best I’ve ever had. The thoughtfully designed menu and tasteful plating for sauce presentations or the tea that I had were spectacular as well. A true fine dining experience for a reasonable price. Food: we got the red lentil hummus (not pictured) for the table and I got the eggs Benedict - the braised beef short rib one. I’m celiac, and the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure that I had a great experience. The red lentil hummus came out with gluten free crackers made in-house and the eggs Benedict was served with their GF biscuit (again in-house made). I rarely get to have eggs Benedict, and this one was the best I’ve ever had. The biscuit choice is a welcomed shift as cutting through and eating it was easy and flavoured beautifully! The service: our server was Garrett, and let me begin by saying he was fantastic. Our water glasses were never empty and when the mid-afternoon sun came beaming in right for my eyes, I didn’t even have to say anything and it was dealt with. He preemptively closed the blinds for all of his tables as well. The level of service was outstanding. Well done to the river cafe for hiring fantastic staff, and for curating and customizing their menu for celiac folks like me. I felt very at home and very safe eating here. I dove into my brunch, and then snapped a photo after I had already began devouring it!

On Friday, September 20 3:00pm. Bought one large 2x pepperoni, 2x salami, 2x black olives, extra cheese and one gluten-free pizza 2x pepperoni, 2x garlic sausage, 1x black olives and extra cheese....both really good. I did the extra cheese on both because I wanted cheesey goodness. $85 with tip..gonna vac seal a bunch of slices for future snacks. Good job to the chefs and wait staff. I've also had the burger and it was also quite good . The menu is vast, so I plan on trying a number of items. Thanks. I saw the Paul's pizza ad at Landmark Shawnessy where i saw Alien Romulus . A fantastic movie!!

They actually have gluten free buns! Very good burger. The fries aren't gf but the tater tots are and they are super good. Edit : the tater tots aren't gluten free because they are cooked in the same fry oil as the gluten fries... That's too bad bc they told me they were gf. Oh well.. Their milkshakes are amazing!!!!

What a great place! The food was excellent, delicious homemade soup, and the BLT was absolutely perfect, the best vegan 'bacon' I have ever tried. I needed gluten free and the bread was so good as well. Super nice, friendly owners and staff. Also such a warm and cozy space. Would highly recommend, I wish it wasn't across town from us, but will definitely make it a preferred destination!

One of my favourite spots in Airdrie. Excellent food. Excellent location. So many gluten-free choices on the menu. They even have a separate fryer for all the corn products - so no need to worry about cross contact!

There isn't anything on the menu that isn't full of flavor and delicious. Variety of options, including gluten free and vegetarian. Highly recommend checking it out and trying one of their bowls or amazing appetizers

The food is so delicious, and as someone who has celiac disease, I was SO grateful and impressed with the kitchen and staff's diligence!! I also appreciated that the gluten free items weren't marked up in price compared to the gluten-full items. I also can't speak highly enough about the service. Our server (Peyton) was SO AMAZING!! Peyton was so kind and attentive, and seriously made the entire experience an 11/10. THANK YOU, PEYTON!

We had the pleasure of eating here after trying it a few months ago, very rarely do we find that there is consistency and they didn’t disappoint. The pasta was fresh and el dante …felt like I was in a cozy place in venice! The fellow (Ganesh) speaking to us was also very nice and told us about the fresh ingredients that go in the pasta. I had the gluten free gnocchi and my hubby had the creamy pesto ravioli. I’m always nervous eating out but he made sure everything was done absolutely perfectly! Really recommend this place as a nice night out and value for money!

Store was very clean including washrooms. I ordered the new Ruffles Crunch buddy and some sweet potato fries. I’m happy I can get a lettuce wrap since I am gluten free. Staff delivered food to my table for me and were so friendly and kind. My burger was hot and the veggies were crisp and fresh, and the sauce on the Ruffles burger is really tasty. Sweet potatoes were very hot and fresh. Yum! 🥰

Love that they have gluten-free crust. My kids only like cheese pizza and I was impressed that they have both a basic cheese pizza as well as a 5 cheese. Found the pizzas very enjoyable. Kind people served us too.

Top-notch customer service! They were so understanding of my gluten allergy and extremely accommodating! The lady that took my order was just the sweetest and most patient human ever.. same with the manager (or maybe the owner), she seemed very concerned of my allergy and was present the entire time supervising the staff and food handling.. she was so kind and just amazing! My sushi was super fresh and delicious. I’ll be tipping twice as much next time!

This is the third time we came here, in just a few weeks. I think that sums it all :-) A great variety, everyone found what they like, including gluten free or vegeterian. The food was VERY good and the dishes are big. The place is clean and the service is excellent. We highly recommand and we will come again. Oh, and don't miss the chocolate cake at the end!

Fast, delicious and all customizable. Endless gluten free and vegan option too. I Ordered and paid online then grabbed my food on the way out of town. I wasn't even in there for full minute. The staff we're friendly and waiting for me when I walked in!

I stopped here for lunch today because they have a gluten free option. I ordered two 6 inch subs as the GF bread only comes in that size. I was then charged $4 for GF when it's only supposed to be $2. I brought it up to the lady and said I never pay double at any other location. She said because we are located in the mall we charge more. Are you kidding me? That's ridiculous. I paid $15 for a cold cut 12 inch sub. Why are they charging double at this location? Every other Subway is the same.. But because they are at WEM they are different? Please...

Came in for some did-not-get-the-job drinks with a friend drinks, and ended up in the dining room. We had Alexandra as our server and she was amazing. I work in the industry so I’m always overly judgy of servers, but She was hilarious (so good at up-selling in all the best ways) and was so helpful when it came to my gluten intolerance, literally all the drinks she suggested were bomb, and she touched our table frequently. This girl deserves a promotion.

I ordered from here on Tuesday evening after seeing various posts that this restaurant was good with gluten. I am celiac so finding good places to eat can be stressful and daunting, and usually the options at most places are minimal. I saw so many options on the menu, but i was still skeptical as I need food to be in a dedicated fryer. So I phoned the restaurant just to be sure and they assured me they had one. Huge win! So I ordered a poutine and a beef taco. Wow! Delicous!! I will definitely be back! Also service was wonderful! Thank you for giving me another safe place to eat. And the menu has food that my whole family will love, even the picky one!!

For Strathmore, this is the best bet. It's a clean and well-kept location, with a large parking lot (shared with the stripmall there, but who's counting?) There are always coupons available, so check that first, and if not the paper ones, check aw.ca . These guys have easily been the most consistently on point with the lettuce wraps and allergy concerns, as well. (I recommend the two Teen Burgers, Lettuce wrapped, no cheese, if you're daily and gluten free like myself)

I love the place, the pizza is delicious here, specially it's also good for vegetarian options. As well as pocket friendly for students. Customized pizza options are also very pocket friendly. The gluten free Multigrain pizza base is also delicious.
