Spending a weekend in Campbell river and needed to find a good restaurant that also had gluten-free options. This was an unexpected gem with an unassuming shopfront on the highway, but once we went inside it was a warm and welcoming place with a lot of charm. The food was extremely fresh and lots of choice for our gluten-free companion - dishes that were naturally gluten-free and those that could be made gluten-free on request. Our server was very friendly and helpful and our food delicious - extremely large pizzas, so unless you are hungry, one will easily feed two people!

Today I had a gluten-friendly quesadilla. Not good. It was greasy, falling apart and missing ingredients. ( I ordered online) The key ingredient is CHEESE!! How can you leave it out?? It's what holds it together. Yikes. I've had a few gluten friendly burritos from this location and they were ok but not something I would order again from here. First time trying the gluten-friendly quesadilla. It was zero stars. I will not be returning. Absolute fail.

We went to riptide last week and our server didn’t know what celiac was and said the fries were gluten free but they were in the same fryer as gluten food. When I didn’t tip her because I got gluten in my meal as a celiac, she acted like a child and chucked the card machine at my friends and didn’t talk to us.

Couldn’t be more excited to say SoCal is now offering a dedicated gluten free fryer! With a great selection of options now available GF, like wings, fish + chips and their tasty tater tots - this is a huge win for the celiac community in Campbell River!
Their new chef has also been bringing in fresh local greens for their salad, higher quality ingredients, and really bringing some great food to Willow Point.
One of the best patios around to sit and relax, and now just that much better!
