Tried out some gluten free loco bread - yum! They've taken it off their menu at the restaurant, but still made it for me anyways since it's on the online menu :) Also, the nirvana dessert is certainly well named. What a treat! Wish I lived closer so I could go back regularly.

We ate dinner here on the outdoor picnic tables. Most guests were out there, along with a live musician. We appreciated that the music was fun and familiar music and they kept the volume just right so it didn’t drown out conversation. Staff were attentive and friendly and all three of us enjoyed our dinner ( one with gluten and dairy restrictions and one vegetarian). We will go back next time we're in town.
A vibrant spot with generous portions, a fun sports vibe, and a great atmosphere for family and friends to unwind together.

We visited the Brazen Poppy while waiting to get our winter tires installed and were very pleased we did, as we ran into some longtime friends there!
The vaulted ceiling and large windows are welcome on a rainy fall day.
Service is friendly and the food tasty. We appreciate the gluten free options.
Glad we chose the Brazen Poppy.
Delicious food with lots of gluten free options including spring rolls!! We had the spring rolls, chicken coconut curry, and sweet and sour pork. It was all delicious!! Highly recommended!

Had an awesome meal here for my wife's birthday. Everything was made to perfection, prices are reasonable and portions are adequate for most. If you have an appy, you'll likely be boxing your entree up to go.
This place is not big (9 tables?), it's hidden and I would not have found it if it hadn't been for social media. Too bad, but I assume they're busy enough. Make your reservation today, you will not be disappointed!
Also you should know that they are extremely diligent with gluten free items or allergies, and will ask the severity of your intolerance for your protection. Great restaurant, great owners, pride of ownership beams through 👍
Warning: you are going to have a very long wait on weekends for a table.
There's a reason it's so popular! The food is great, there is gluten free options and the staff are excellent. However, best to come on a weekday!
For a celiac there were limitations on what I could eat so I chose the seafood stew and flourless chocolate cake. Both were AMAZING and the service was excellent. It's no wonder my grandparents wanted to share this lovely gem with me when I visited from Alberta.

Absolutely loved the pizza selections they had on the single slices. Great way to try different ones and see which one is ur favourite ! The sourdough crust was light, fluffy and full of flavour. I’m sensitive to gluten and this pizza didn’t bother my stomach at all. Loved that they also had vegan options for my daughter who is dairy free. Highly recommend, will def be back 🤗
A bustling spot with a cozy vibe, it’s perfect for a night out without the overwhelming noise, even when the line stretches outside.

Probably the worst food we have eaten in a long time!
My girlfriend ordered the cauliflower in coconut sauce with veggies and lentils. Hard veggies with no flavour. Dried hump of lentils. Sauce was very bland.
The veggies burger was terrible. Presented like one was eating at Dennys. The pattie had no flavour what so ever.
They charged $5 extra for a gluten free bun!
For the prices they are charging there is no excuse for this kind of experience.
One can literally run to any supermarket and get veggie patties that are flavourful and look like patties.
We were warned by others that the food was very bad. We thought maybe it's subjective. We were wrong.
It's 2025. No reason whatsoever to serve food like this.
It's not 1999. The competition with very little effort does so much better.
A resort/restaurant that charges premium prices, should know better.
Unless they take it for granted?
It's so frustrating having this kind of experience in a place one would expect to have high standards.
Appears after reading past reviews, management isn't paying attention, or they don't care.
Fresh and flavorful with generous portions and a bright vibe, this spot promises a satisfying experience that keeps patrons coming back.

It’s tough to make a decision based on reviews — just remember some people have ridiculous expectations and bizarre standards. We had a very good experience here tonight. Our food was fresh and tasted good. The Edamame was warm and perfectly salted, there were huge chunks of avocado in the avocado rolls, the teriyaki chicken was very tasty, the hunks of salmon sashimi were enormous (and SUPER fresh), and the Dynamite and California rolls were a great size and again, everything was well flavoured. Bonus points: they had a bottle of gluten free tamari behind the counter!
The staff was friendly, our food came out super quickly, and we left pleasantly full. The restaurant is bright, tables were clean. The only downside is that the floor was weirdly sticky.
Will definitely visit again!
Cozy vibes and attentive service make for a great experience where you feel right at home.

A great experience at KD’s! Food was great and overall atmosphere was cozy and comfy! The owner even recognized my boyfriend was gluten free without us having to tell her and gave him some gf bread with his meal! Great place!

I’m pretty picky about my ramen - and this place was SO GOOD. If you’re looking for an authentic ramen place, come by here. Lots of options for everyone - there’s vegetarian and vegan and gluten free options too. I was happy I was able to swap my noodles with different ones - I got the black vegetable ramen but with regular wheat noodles - so so yummy 😋

Such delicious coffee, food, and just a wonderful place to meet with friends/get some work done. The service is always incredible as well (lovely people working) would HIGHLY recommend checking them out! Also, they have a few gluten-free options which has made them a go-to of mine when working in the area!

we stopped in for lunch. We shared the Prawn Cucumber Guacamole appetizer and then I had the Brimm Club. It was fantastic. My wife had one of the appetizers for her meal (sort of a nacho thing), and loved it too. Place looks great and the servers were really nice. Looked like a lot of Gluten Free and Vegetarian options on the menu, if that's something you are looking for.
I enjoyed the crispy tofu rice bowl I got. I have a gluten sensitivity, and I appreciated how thoughtful they were about it. The staff are so friendly. Would recommend!
We came for dip and dine. Love the spa and the dip half of the experience.
The amuse bouche was yummy and the gluten free bannock I was served as a substitute for the bread course was delicious. The rest of flavours were confusing.
Our server was almost apologetic when serving us the watermelon and beet gazpacho and mentioned that the taste was not for everyone. It certainly wasn’t! There were aspects of each dish that were okay but the beautiful ingredients used were often in overly bitter or overly sweet fruit sauces. For example, the tuna was served with large spoonfuls of strong flavoured blackberry foam and blackberry vinegar. The blackberry foam dominated the space on the plate. The green beans and cherry tomatoes in this dish were drowned in the blackberry sauce, which didn’t pair very well. The blackberry flavour was overwhelming and it was very difficult to taste anything else. It seemed like a waste of these fresh, gorgeous ingredients.
The plates seemed to get worse as we went down the menu. I found the overly bitter or overly sweet flavours often inedible and poorly paired with the ingredients they were served with. For example, last course was halibut with a potato and greens salad. The greens were covered in an extremely bitter lime dressing and so were the potatoes. The flavours of the halibut were also very bitter and the sauce was a heavy cream sauce that didn’t have much flavour. I was frustrated because this was a beautiful piece of halibut and I was not able to eat it.
The price for this meal was $100 per person and it was definitely not worth the money.
Another note: As I was scrolling though reviews post-meal to find out if others had a similar experience, I discovered that our server for the meal has left a 5 star google review for the tapas, not disclosing that that they are on staff. The server has a very unique name so it is easy to understand that it was our server. This made me wonder if any other staff members have done the same.
