Outstanding! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door, offered a menu and explained what to do next, we never felt rushed. You can tell they are so well organized to keep this place running like a well oiled machine... When ordering they had options to accomodate my Gluten free (wheat allergy) and they even knew right away what sauces I should take off my burger and add without having to pull things up or go ask which is something I really appreciated and don't see often! I ordered the Zeus burger and so did my boyfriend (i had a fresh greek salad with mine and him and poutine). It was at our table withing less than 10minutes. Absolutely the best burger I have ever had! My favorite part was seeing the owner in the restaurant interacting with guests, welcoming them, cleaning tables, delivering food. He looked genuinely proud to be the owner of this place and that's something you never get to see. Will be 100% returning! Thanks Olympus Burger

I have been to the cafe times in the last several months. What an incredible place and incredible mission they have. Even if you don't want to adopt a pet, it is wonderful just to sit and watch their antics. The staff/volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and honest about the cats. And how purrfect they have a wide range of ages, as not everyone wants a kitten. Our daughter adopted an older cat several months ago and he is perfect. Now we are looking to adopt and will not go anywhere else but here. As an aside, their coffee is incredible and what an absolute delight for me to find a delicious, dairy free gluten free Nanaimo bar! Their store is fantastic as well. My daughter's cat heartily approves of the catnip toys. Thank you for great food, great customer service and providing a much needed service for theses beautiful cats.

Caution: if you need gluten-free food. I called to make sure that the ginger and garlic stir-fry with shrimp was gluten-free, and was assured that it was. After eating the meal, I started having a reaction of gluten-intolerance...still progressing 4 days later.

Went to Gusto today with a friend for lunch. I was very impressed with the lovely server that understood my Celiac requirement of Gluten-free food. I had the Pasta Puttanesca and it was delicious. The Scallops were perfectly seared, mussels and shrimp perfectly cooked and the gluten-free Rummo rigatoni was perfectly al denté. Thank You, Gusto for an amazing lunch, I will be back!!

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Wellington. First impressions; store front was clean modern/retro, nice colours and good signage ✅ Inside we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome from (probably the owner), followed appropriate B.S. Covid stuff before taken to booth and seated✅ Table/chair seating at the front, booth seating to the right and more table/chair seating at the rear, very clean with modern decor and nice artwork, perfect lighting and great looking, clean well stocked bar. Restaurant was starting to get busy (arrived 11:45am)✅ Table service; all boxes ticked, our server was friendly, smiled, attentive and spoke clearly outlining all menu features and drinks were served to us in no time ✅ Food; Comprehensive Main Menu for every taste (vegetarian & gluten fee options) and a $10 lunch menu plus daily specials. I ordered chicken wings (Tuesday All Day 75 cent jumbo wing special) tossed in their signature butter curry with a side Caesar salad. My wife ordered avocado chicken club on multi-gran with fries. Meals were prepared and served within 10-15 mins and plating was excellent ✅Both meals were outstanding (compliments to the chef!) Wings tossed in butter curry with side of home made ranch dressing was absolutely outstanding! Caesar Salad (large) with fresh crunchy lettuce, lots of creamy garlicky dressing with the perfect amount of croutons & fresh parm cheese. One of the best Caesar’s I’ve had in ages - Delicious 😋! ✅ The sandwich was made with fresh bread and ingredients, chicken perfectly cooked and fries had that crunch to them ✅ For all you food enthusiasts, groups, families or individuals, Nookie’s is a gem 💎 it is a must if you are passing through or if you live in the area. 10/10 with 5 ⭐️’s. It is 3:45pm on a Tuesday and the doors are locked. This is the third time I have come to this location to get fast food during store hours and the doors are locked and employees are sitting inside. I have to eat gluten free because of Celiacs and New York Fries is one of the few places I can eat if I am out and need food on the go. Very disappointing. Head office should be embarrassed.

This is such as lovely new spot. They have the best hot chocolate I've ever had at any café, just the right amount of sweetness and frothyness. I also really appreciate the gluten free and dairy free options.
