Came here for the all you can eat lunch and it was incredible. We started off with Miso soup and edamame. Miso was the best either one of us has had - creamy and flavourful. We tried a lot of the menu - the new items were creative - we had the duck sushi and it was paired perfectly with the sauce. They also had sushi pizza and taco options. The queen’s roll was INCREDIBLE… 100% the best sushi roll I’ve had. All of the fish was really fresh and the rolls didn’t have too much rice. There were plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. They also had Soju, hot and cold sake along with beer, wine and cocktail options. Atmosphere was calm - temperature was good and the music was calm and at a good volume. Thank you Thach & team for awesome service and a great first experience- we will absolutely be back!

I picked this place to satisfy a variety of dietary preferences in my party, including gluten-free and vegetarian. Food was excellent, it didn't seem very customizable though, because some things were pre-made, but I will say, it tasted good and there were a lot of options anyway. Prices were decent, cheaper than other options for dining out, but the portions seemed a bit on the smaller side...not ridiculously small, just a bit below what I'd expect. Service was friendly, parking a small hassle. I'd definitely return, but not if I was starving.

My husband and I went for dinner tonight and we were so pleased with Sisaket! The service was charming right form the start. The food was FANTASTIC. We started with the Tom Yum Lemongrass Soup, and it tasted exactly the way I want it to taste - absolutely packed with flavour. We had the green curry, which was decadent and deeply delicious, with just the right amount of heat. The cashew stir fry was sweet, had tons of veggie, and was so very tasty. The pad thai had a lovely tamarind flavour. My husband is gluten free and they gladly This will definitely be our go-to thai place from now on. I'm so excited to try even more!

We came here a couple weeks ago (when there was a glorious stint of sunshine) and sat on the patio. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent! I really loved the fact that they had their gluten free options clearly labelled and the food was amazing. The nachos were delicious, the chicken and goat cheese wrap (which I had on a gluten free bun) was really tasty and had loads of flavour. My husband had the chicken tenders, which he said were really nice. I also had a caesar, and Jack Astors always has the best! Can't wait to come back, as always!

Business lunch, 1st time here. I was able to have pasta, yeah, as they have gluten free penne. Yummy shrimps in a white wine cream sauce. Will definitely go back when in the area again.

You can order mutton skewers, soy sauce tendons, lamb chop skewers, and Northeastern cold noodles. They are fresh and delicious, and you won’t make any mistakes. The king of kings, the grilled gluten-grilled eggplant was average, not very tasty, but not bad either. The price for two people after tax was 72 dollars, which was a lot to eat and packed a lot. The food was served quickly. The waiters and ladies were very beautiful and had great attitudes. Highly recommended!

They make a very good burger. Drinks are bottomless. Staff was hugely accommodating and gave me extra gravy with my poutine. I did find the poutine to be a bit over salted, hence the deduction. They have vegan burgers and gluten-free buns, too. Tater tots were a great nostalgic offering. They also are quite accommodating with the menu and have a featured burger on special each day.

The chicken is tender and tastes great. The waffle potato fries were well made and different from the regular fast food fries fare. They were a little more salty than I like but still tasty. They have "naked" grilled chicken nuggets so you get (and can see!) the real deal when it comes to nugget meat. Flavour was good but pieces could be a tad bit bigger. The menu is streamlined and easy to choose from. Service was quick and friendly. They have a gluten free burger option but it's not a gluten free bun but a lettuce wrapped grilled chicken. Works for some but for a kid not so much. Their lemonade and sweet tea drink combo was refreshing and different from anything I have tasted in the GTA. The lemonade by itself was a bit too tangy for my liking but still enjoyable. We would definitely revisit the location when looking for our chicken burger fix the next time.

Just had the best experience at this Pizza Nova location! Their pizza is incredible—I'm obsessed with the Chicken Mediterranean, it's so flavourful. My wife got the gluten-free Hawaiian, and it was just as tasty (who knew gluten-free could be that good?). Oh, and the chicken wings with Garlic Parmesan? Out of this world! I never knew their wings could be that amazing... you have to try it!There’s plenty of parking in the back lot. Plus, the owner Nakissa is such a sweetheart! She was so friendly and fun to chat with. This spot is a gem!

I love the fact that this restaurant has NEVER once sacrificed on quality. The seared halibut was delicious & the absolute freshest I’ve ever had! The Greek village salad was as authentic as the salads we had while travelling the Greek islands. The wine was also very good and the Gluten free recess peanut butter cup tart was phenomenal. The gentleman waiter is also wonderful. Our entire family loves this restaurant! My only suggestion would be to add avocado to the menu 🥑😊

All vegan and delicious hot table choices for takeout. My current fave combo is faux fish stew with rasta noodles and squash. A third side is available at additional charge. All meals come with a portion of tasty bbq seitan (like beef chunks, made from wheat gluten) and fried plantain garnish. A mouthwatering assortment of generously iced vegan cakes too. The carrot cake is to die for.

My friend and I came in for brunch. Laarni our server was so polite, attentive, personable, thorough, and overall delightful. I have Celiac and cannot consume gluten. Laarni reassured me regarding cross contamination and ensured a pleasurable experience dining. The food came so fast and was absolutely perfect. Very flavourful, well cooked, and perfectly balanced in all aspects. The space itself was clean, well set up, and bright (not too bright, just right). Sunset Grill is very economical for the portions you get and the quality sets the bar high. I will come back for sure. A great first visit to Sunset Grill.

Wow, haven't seen portions this big in years. Hidden gem. They don't skimp on the veggies and cheese in their omelettes. Omelettes came with a huge portion of fresh home fries and 3 pieces of bread. It was a solid two meals worth of food. Excellent customer service. Oh, and they had gluten free bread! The place is 40 years old and authentically retro, as opposed to new cafes pretending to be old nowadays:) this was a great find and we'll definitely be coming back!

Located inside a small plaza the decor inside is not fancy. Service was friendly and the food was delicious!!! The top 3 picks for me were the mock abalone, glutenous rice, and braised tofu. I definitely intend to return!

And the pizza makers are so friendly specially The specy guy carnil and raju .The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, the set up is nice. There is a place to sit with family then there is another place to sit with friends.

My friend took me here bc he said they have the best cold noodles ever, and honestly I agree. The noodles were the perfect chewiness and the sauce soaked in so well. I loved the little chunks of gluten that were so flavourful. You can ask for less spicy too, but "less spicy" wasn't spicy at all so maybe regular spicy would be fine. Also recommend the roujiamo. We got the cumin beef but personally I'm not a fan of cumin so I can't say I was the best person to eat these but they were still good and juicy. Also I highly recommend coming here with a mandarin-speaking/reading friend bc the menu is all in Chinese lol. Or at least come with someone who knows exactly what they want to order. The waitress was really nice tho and helped us write down what we verbally asked for

There are lots of gluten free curries and rice options here for those who want to taste Tamil cuisine! Loved the mutton curry, steamed rice and eggplant curry! Nisansala was a great server!

The food here is good. They had gluten free taco shells. No gluten free burrito shells. My two biggest griefs are the service and the drink temperature. They serve beer here, and the beer is mad warm. You guys need to dial your fridges to a colder temperature. The other thing was the service. The lady who served us was not really fit for the role. I watched a customer walk in and wait to be greeted, and ultimately left. Also when I walked in I was in the shop for a few minutes before I got bored of reading the menu and called the rep over. Not a great look. When you have a restaurant you should be greeting everyone who comes in, acknowledging people and sayings I'll be right with you if you're busy. None of this was covered. Ultimately not a bad spot. Stars for food and the atmosphere is probably great in the summer. Winter they had a heater and it wasnt too cold which was good.

I usually go to subway, so this is my comparable, but i really wanted to try the keto/gluten free bun option. The price for my small sub came to 10.15 which i thought was pretty steep. the bun texture was great but there is zero taste- did not taste bad, just didn't taste like anything, which made the sub bland(even with the soutwest sauce to liven things up) The rest of the topping were delicious and fresh, and options similar to subway, including sub of the day promos. Person working was pleasant and friendly, location was clean and easy to get to, only downfall was the 3 mr sub labelled parking spots were all occupied (even though i was the only one there), likely by patrons of the always chaotic tim hortons located beside it. Will avoid that bun next time but would definitely try another one in the future bc of price (price for small sub of the day is 4.49)

One of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Scarborough. If you're flour or gluten sensitive, ask for glass noodles. It's amazing! Any and every dish tastes amazing. If you're looking for "da bomb" appetizer, get the spring rolls and the cold rice flour rolls.

The food quality and presentation were excellent and Jacky was extremely accommodating to a variety of our guest’s dietary needs including gluten-free, seafood, and vegetarian options. His staff made sure that we were well fed during the reception. Some of our guests still rave about the food months later! Jacky and his team worked well with the venue, taking care of both the large and small details, and were quick with communication. We would highly recommend them to any couple who are getting married and wanted a Chinese menu for their wedding, as they cater to many venues in the GTA.

Thai Basil Chicken is well seasoned. Thai Basil Beef can be made gluten free (need to ask and make sure that this is understood in advance). Chilli Chicken is spicy, as noted with three peppers. The lunch portions are the perfect size. TIP: Lunch is served until 3:00 pm.

Gluten free crust was really tasty but the pizza was kinda dry overall and the bacon on my sister's pizza was very undercooked, although she still enjoyed it Tried the peri peri fries fries and they were great! Fantastic heat and flavor, perfect level of salt. Definitely a winner.

So I have to start off this review and say that I rate the food a 5 out of 5 at Mexitaco. Where they fall down slightly (I can't do half points) is on service and atmosphere). This is the spot you go to when you want to have mouth watering, authentic (outside of Mexico) birria tacos with the side stew hands down. The chef has perfected the beef stewing process and flavour profile that goes on to hit all the right foodie feels. Think side of the road freshly made birria tacos (my mouths officially watering now). Their chorizo tacos have the right amount of heat and make you want to go back for more, not to mention their grilled fish tacos that are fresh and simple so that you enjoy the true taste of the fish. They also make horchata and himika which makes the food experience even more authentic and awesome. They have a solid selection of tequilas and I think they need to make a bigger deal about this for sure and make those drinks a little more stronger please. The location works well for folks with gluten sensitivities and make sure to speak to your server about any substitutions. Service is friendly and always encouraging but can be a bit inattentive at times. The restaurant was definitely something else before and has a very pub/bar feel that I think can be worked on to make it feel a bit more mexican authentic without going overboard. Seating is a bit basic and looks a bit worn out but maybe it just adds to the who atmosphere but could be off putting to some. Parking can be a challenge at times given the smaller parking lot but still worth the visit. Go experience the food and margaritas for yourself and let me know if I missed the mark on anything. Horchata for life!
