After reading great reviews, we were excited about the pasta options, especially for my gluten free spouse. We got there early and our sever was initially very attentive although told us that the gnocchi and polpette with buckwheat was definitely not gluten free. He said he checked in the kitchen and confirmed - odd that many other gf diners said those items were but we didn’t want to chance it. The vibe was great and drinks were nice also.
The buratta appetizer with fig and thin sliced ham was delicious as was the non gf spaghetti with pesto. Our gf diner chose the special shrimp and mushroom entree with the boxed gf penne. The sauce was too thin for a standard boxed gf pasta and served with 5 medium size shrimp for €38. The server could have noted it would not be as good with the boxed pasta as the homemade fettuccine that non-gf diners would have had.
Also, as the restaurant got busier, we didn’t see our server for about 30 minutes, water ran out, a side dish was forgotten, etc.
I think the issues we faced were that server more than the restaurant but did take away from an otherwise lovely evening.

I went to Choupinet twice for lunch.
The welcome is efficient and smiling, there are always a lot of people.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very friendly, around street art, industrial and wood, very warm.
I really like the teddy bears in the spirit of the Gobelins teddy bears!
Despite the good will, the service is messy with oversights such as housekeeping on the tables, oil, the difficulty of obtaining a carafe of water and changing a cutlery that a waitress dropped on the floor, we had to get up.
I also turned over a very dirty wine glass with lemon pulp inside. It's hard to miss...
The menu is very extensive which can be scary but having tasted several starters and dishes, it's simple, it's good, it's nothing very sophisticated but the quality/price for the area is very reasonable.
Special mention to the semi-cooked tuna and homemade puree and the onion soup, excellent!
Choice of vegetarian options and very appreciable gluten-free pasta.
Too bad for the goat cheese salad, the brioche for the untoasted toast and the tasteless olives straight out of the jar.
The portions are generous.
I could only advise that you pay more attention to your toilets, on two occasions very dirty, without paper and one of them no longer had a light.
Overall correct, the time is pleasant if you pass by the Luxembourg Gardens and want to eat.
However, a few points to review.
Cozy chic vibe meets delicious hot drinks in this relaxing gem, perfect for unwinding in a prime Parisian location.

One of my favorite café spots in Paris! The vibe is cozy chic, the hot drinks are delicious and they have gluten free options. It's everything you need a Parisian café to be when looking for something relaxing, nourishing and in a great location. And the staff is fabulous!
Tucked away and brimming with charm, this spot offers fresh, beautifully presented dishes in a cozy setting perfect for a relaxed evening.

We happened upon this little gem, situated a couple of minutes walk away from our hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised. The entrées and mains were fresh, beautifully presented and were simple yet effective. Two of us are coeliac, but that wasn’t a problem since most of the food was gluten free anyway. The issue with most restaurants in Paris that advertise as being ‘gluten free’, is that they also tend to misconstrue ‘gluten’ with ‘flavour’. This restaurant has been the exception to this. Home-cooked bliss and an unmatched charm. 1 chef, 1 server. What else do you need? Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quiet little corner to share great wine and great food whilst still being coeliac-friendly and gluten free.
