The Big Breakfast was big, the long black was delicious, the staff were friendly with a smile and a quip whilst still professional. I can't understand the poor reviews. Our meal arrived in good time - it was obviously freshly cooked. I asked for GF, and nothing was too much trouble. They swopped out my sausage for halloumi, and they hid a tasty tomato under the bacon. Best bit - the potato rosti/hash brown. Beautifully seasoned. There was a whole shelf of gluten-free sweet treats, 7 options! If only I'd had room after breakfast.
Discover a vibrant eatery with a cool vibe, delicious options, and great music that makes every visit enjoyable and memorable.

Coeliac aware and great gf options! Loved the chicken sushi bowl! A bit hard to get a table in there because it’s so busy, but worth it.
I didn’t really love the Vietnamese loaded fries, but I’d say that’s just my preference.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with a variety of unique dishes and local flavors, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a solo visit.

OMG I had the most delicious gluten free lunch here. Salmon and potato ball with a fresh and delicious side salad. As a coeliac, I didn't feel at all sick after it, so I would suggest the food is prepared well from a cross-contamination perspective. I have eaten here a few times over the years and have never been ill.
All I wish is that I took some of those tasty treats away with me! I'll definitely be back here. A place we always go to when down in Invercargill.
The only problem with this place is that it's always so busy. But great vibe and highly recommend. If you are a coeliac please do recheck when you go there about any of your concerns.
An inviting spot with a cozy vibe where every visit feels like hanging out with friends, showcasing fantastic menu options.

Great coffee. Sat outside in the sun. We had a hashbrown stack with added halloumi, and a big brekkie with gluten free bread. Fuelled us for our hike later that day. It was delicious and highly recommend.
Cozy little spot with diverse, delicious options that'll impress anyone looking for a unique dining experience.

Love going to industry whether it's grabbing sweet treats to go or sitting in for a meal.
The food is so yum! Always great gluten free options staff are so lovely and nice and clean premises.
Unfortunately they don’t do soy milk so while the barista & coffee is good it’s not my favourite.
They took the time to explain why they do the mills they do though and the servers here are so nice and helpful.
They also cater to people with allergies, like vegan and gluten intolerant people.
Love the atmosphere here. Hopefully one day they can make their own soy milk! 🤞
This cozy spot has a great atmosphere, speedy service, and a deliciously messy burger that’s well worth the visit!

Came by here post-hiking trip to try the Eat Me burger on a gluten free bun. Oh my goodness! It's a bit messy to eat as it's so packed with good stuff, but so yummy. Well worth the price. The place is cute too, with good atmosphere, great service, and a speedy kitchen.

We called into the coffee bomb for some lunch, I bought a gluten free bacon and egg pie, was the most delicious gf pie I've ever tried, pastry was very nice and light, wouldn't mind that recipe or ordering a few of I could.

Pricy but we received excellence and are so impressed with the food and coffee. Love the decor and timber of the original homestead. We were served by such a lovely lady which is a bonus.
There is art for sale on the walls which was also a nice extra touch. So delishish, glad we came. Added a pic if the hand cut fries, we do not know how they were so yum!! Maybe fresh grown or good potatoes? Gluten free caramel slice was beautiful, the base was like shortbread. They were very accommodating for my children, there were some toys and fun puzzles and they split a milk shake into 3 small glasses. The meals coming out looked incredible.
Expect a lively atmosphere with a deliciously diverse menu and a fantastic selection of local drinks—definitely book ahead!

Lovely dinner at The Fat Duck. Do recommend booking in for a seat. Service was friendly and food was very tasty. Lots of gluten free and dairy free options.
Ordered mine and my partners food at the same times. hers came out but I had to continue to wait for over 20mins until I got impatient and asked where's my order was then was told that's other orders have been put in front because I'm gluten free. Once I finally got my order it was barely warm and was very disappointed
Expect a welcoming vibe with attentive service, a lively atmosphere, and a nice selection of drinks to enjoy while you wait for your table.

Food is okay.
Fryer is not suitable for coeliacs (despite steak) etc being listed as gf.
They will offer substitutes etc but maybe look into changing this? Items may be gf by ingredient but you shouldn't be labeling them as this if you put everything into the same fryer (worked hospo for years - it's not hard to differentiate and train staff on). You could make someone seriously sick. Clear labeling provides comfort for everyone.
Overall a good place for a bite but the service is also very rushed.
Enjoy a laid-back vibe with stellar service and a nostalgic burger experience that will have you coming back for more.

Great service and great food. I'm also Coeliac and while the menu was limited for me I still managed a meal and desert. Many places will tell you they can cater for coeliacs and end up contaminating their food, not these guys tho 🙂

SO AMAZING!!! Second time here and does not disappoint! Blonde one is so friendly and funny really made our visit one to remember! Casey is very friendly and informed us on the menu and any questions we had. Food was super quick as likely as it was a monday! Would be worth the wait though. So flavourful and large portions, provide vegan options(tofu) and gluten free. The restaurant had amazing vibes, decoration and music on point. I will be back again. Ive travelled to thailand and this is just the same. SYS!!!

10/10 food and service, heaps of gluten free options, the speciality dishes from southern India were delicious. Will definitely be back. Also lovely atmosphere with lots of nice lighting and a fire.
Pretty good food for a small town pub in NZ. They have a variety of gluten free options and the lemon cake was very moist. They have a terrace out the back but unfortunately it just overlooks the road. The staff were friendly and helpful but did look a little rushed off there feet when we came to leave. I would go back if I was in the area but wouldn't make a special trip.

Catered very well for Gluten Free and Dairy Free, the same as any other Thai restaurant does. Sadly though, they have no gluten free soy sauce so the meal was VERY bland.
Strongly suggest you buy some GF soy sauce. Your customers will appreciate it. :-)

Really enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere...
I have Coeliac disease so I risked the gluten free and had a on-premise brewed cider, Gadoochi Cry Baby. Finally in NZ a cider with sour tart bite to it, delicious 😋 . The gf pizza in plain Italian style was equally delicious...
Staff unintrusive (the way I like it) and a great music soundtrack (perhaps a like loud for me).
First time visit and I'll be back.
Poor experience, waited from 7:30pm for a table and got seated at 8:30pm. Food didn’t come out till nearly 10pm. Chips on the menu say they were gluten free, then the waiter said they weren’t actually. No dairy free options either. The waiter was really condescending and rude after asking about gluten and dairy free options. The whole experience was rushed
Step into this cozy spot for a surprising blend of pub vibes and gourmet dishes, where the service is as memorable as the food!

What a pleasant surprise. By far the best dining experience we have had in our 2 week stay in New Zealand. I had the Rib Eye and it was cooked to perfection and served with vegetables and accompaniments (so no need to seperately order and pay for sides as many restaurants annoyingly do these days) Portion size was generous. My partner had the Salmon and was equally happy with her meal.
The wine we drank perfectly complimented our meals and we could not fault the service or the atmosphere.
On another note as a coeliac they catered well for my dietary requirements.
Well done and keep up the great work.
