Gluten free options galore! Vegetarian also. We loved the food and our server, Kaitlin, was hilarious and made our time there amazing. We wish we had eaten all of our meals here on our trip.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with a diverse menu that's both appealing and delicious, perfect for groups and a cozy night out.

4/16/25: dinner with a friend. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we lost track of time. We started the evening sitting outside, but the gusty wind drove us inside to a beautiful table by the window. The staff made this transition very smooth despite it being a busy day at the restaurant. My friend claimed that her drink was excellent although a bit on the strong side. I enjoyed the gluten-free chicken masala and she said that the happy hour hamburger, which she had on a gluten-free bun, was excellent. Our total for dinner for two, with shared brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and the one cocktail was about $76 before tip.
This trendy brunch spot oozes cozy vibes and impresses with a creative drink menu and large dessert portions—perfect for a casual outing.

Loved this spot! We polled several locals for their favorite brunch spots and almost everyone mentioned Jake's, so we knew we had to try it. It has more of a boutique/homey feel than some other places, and everyone working was extremely nice. Food and drinks also came out very fast. We got the short rib Benedict and lobster roll without a roll (GF, of course!), plus a side of fries. All were super good. I also had a rosie margarita, which was very pretty and not cloyingly sweet. We ordered a couple desserts to go - they had several gluten free baked goods, so I was really happy. One of the slices of cake (not GF) was as big as our heads... wild.
Definitely stop by this place when you're in town. I recommend not driving as their drink menu is very extensive and everything looked great; would've loved to have another if we weren't driving home right after!
Casual vibe, tasty cocktails, and unique options make it a fun spot to unwind and enjoy with friends.

We sat at the bar, the bartender was super friendly and accommodating for my partners celiac disease. The cauliflower pizza crust was so good, the pasta was meh. Would get 2 pizzas next time.
Love the friendliness of the owner and staff. The vibe was awesome. Disco playing as we ate our lunch. I loved my arugala salad with chicken. The half was filling with asparagus, colorful grape tomatoes and perfectly cut chicken... The right amount of dressing too. I helped myself to Ls fries which were perfect. Not too fat or thin... And gluten free is marked on the menu. The fries aren't gf Bc they are fried in the same oil as the chicken but that doesn't hurt me so yay! L loved her pie which was homemade. Said it was the best she had in 15 years.
I was so glad to find a very reasonably priced restaurant with American food...no fancy, overpriced California vegan, gluten free, blah, blah , blah food there! Huge menu to chose from & breakfast served all day! Great portion sizes too. I spent $26 on a regular no frills grilled cheese at a tourist trap bar 2 blks down from John's! The next day I found John's and bought a whole meal for $6 including drink. I did bring my food back to my hotel patio. As the ambiance is definately a priority there. Its an old school diner. Nothing fancy but good!
Enjoy a unique blend of raw and cooked dishes with generous portions that cater to diverse palates, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.

We have eaten some great meals in Palm Springs, but my family all agreed that our dinner at Crudo was the best so far. The menu is very interesting with a mix of raw and cooked dishes for every palate. My teenage daughter had a cheeseburger and fries, which she enjoyed. My husband had the grilled octopus with mole sauce, and I had the tamarind scallops. We also shared a salmon ceviche, which would have been a meal for someone on its own. The portion sizes were all very generous and we left more than satisfied.
Our server was so helpful navigating the menu with my dietary restrictions (gluten and corn allergies). He even accommodated my request for cucumber slices instead of tortilla chips for the ceviche. We look forward to our next visit when we can return to try more dishes.

We ordered take out because the dining room is closed. All of the food was wonderful and the pricing and service is great! My friend has celiacs and they were very helpful letting us know what was safe for her to eat. Everything tasted amazing and the people are super sweet!
