Freekeh is a hidden gem in SF and strikes that rare combination of amazing food, service, and ambiance.
We ordered a house sampler to try their various spreads and could not decide which one was our favorite- they were all that good, though the muhammara is a must-try! I am gluten intolerant and they happily accommodated me with homemade GF lavash-esque chips to go with the spreads.
We also got the cauliflower and three different skewers - would highly recommend the kufta and shish tawook (chicken); each came paired with different sauces and were incredibly well marinated and tender. We tried two desserts and loved the halawa o buza- creamy, nutty, and the perfect amount of sweet.
Our dining experience was complemented by the owner and waitress, who took great care of our table and simply radiated kindness and warmth. It was such a pleasure to dine here and we can’t wait to come back!
Breathtaking vibes and a chill atmosphere make it a go-to spot for pizza lovers looking for a great time together.

This place is def good, I got the lamb curry with coconut milk which was a nice touch, and avoiding gluten and diary. The foods was on point . I stopped in real quick to eat at the bar I was craving Indian food, and curry, and this hit the spot. It does get busy though, so for a group make a rsvp.
We dropped in for an impromptu date night and we’re really pleased! We split the sea scallops and the pork ossobuco. Presentation was very thoughtful and each bite was delicious. Wine was good also! We didn’t plan on dessert, but they brought cream brûlée on the house! I’m gluten free and they had plenty of options. Everything was spectacular! We’ll be back for another date night and I’ll have to check out brunch!
A must-visit for its buzzing atmosphere and stunning food presentation—this spot promises a delightful brunch experience with noteworthy portions!

The BEST breakfast/brunch I have ever had ever! Everything was delicious. The service was incredible. Everyone was so nice. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu items next time. This time we had a Benedict with chicken mango sausage and an omelette that was to die for! And the flight of bacon!!! Soooo good!! The coffee was good! My partner is gluten free and even the gluten free bread was fantastic! Everything! Yum!

Solid family owned restaurant. The food is really good . You order at the counter. I highly recommend their coffee - iced and hot are both great.
The best part of Morning Due is the amazing service you get. I am gluten free- they are knowledgeable and ensure I can safely eat. The attention to detail and desire to be welcoming comes from everyone who works at Morning Due.

Ordered a DBL espresso (which wasn’t amazing or special) but the gluten free nutter butter was great! Creamy butter cream between two soft crumbly cookies. Impressed by the taste and price of spring $3. Nice place to sit inside/outside at near Dolores Park. Service was quick too. I’d say go here out of convenience, not necessarily as a destination while visiting.
With a cozy vibe and quick service, this spot offers delightful dishes, a paper menu, and a unique kitchen walkthrough for a transparent dining experience.

Everything we ate and drank was amazing here! We had the sake flight, cha ya roll, cha ya rice bowl, eggplant roll, starlight roll and a salad. The cha ya roll was definitely my favorite, the presentation was fantastic and the women who served us were so sweet and knowledgeable! We brought our non-veg gluten free friends and they loved everything too. We will definitely go back next time we’re in town!

Good sandwiches and a friendly owner. I gave this 5 stars because it’s a new business, but actually wanted to give it 4 because their gluten free sandwich is about half the size of their normal sandwich, yet they charge you 3 dollars extra. From that price/value standpoint, I don’t know if I’ll be returning here. But the quality of the baguette was great!
I feel bad I didn't tip (takeout) because they gave me cutlery and napkins and a fortune cookie and the food was delicious. I got the Hunan meatless ham and it was a nice chewy gluten (not just tofu) and exactly the spice I was craving. And they gave an extra little container of hot sauce!
