Very authentic place for Harry Potter fans to eat. Long queue. Not a great experience for coeliacs only roast chicken available but the staff did understand the importance of cross contamination etc. food was nice enough (fish and chips - not gluten free) and chicken with potato for coeliacs. Would recommend if you’re into HP.
A hidden gem in CityWalk, this spot offers a standout experience that brings joy to diners with special dietary needs.

After a long day at Universal Studios and the theme park closing at 6pm... we needed dinner before driving home. We were very thankful to find a gluten free restaurant at Universal CityWalk. It was hard to find at first because the Firehouse Subs is upstairs and google maps said we had arrived at the wrong location. Once we found it, my son was able to order a gluten free sandwich and we reminded the staff to open new packages of food and use fresh utensils etc. to avoid cross contamination with wheat. The gluten free bun costs extra and it was in our opinion an expensive sandwich to begin with, but my son loved eating that sandwich, smiled so big to eat out like everyone else, and was so excited just to eat something new. Because of that, we would absolutely bring my son back here next time we visit Universal Studios (as we are hoping to get an annual pass). My son rarely can eat out, so thank you so much for including gluten free options that are truly safe for my son to eat.
Expect a delightful surprise with amazing meals that even picky eaters rave about, making it a perfect family-friendly spot near the action.

Every time I come here, I sit at the bar and have the most amazing bartenders. I have celiacs disease very severe and that took such wonderful care of me. I’m not own to write reviews but it’s not often I find restaurants to knowledgeable and having the care for such a severe allergy. Much love for the two men behind the bar and the manager!! Yall are awesome!
Have a hankering for some fried chicken so good, even the chickens don’t argue? You’ll reckon your own mama’s cookin’ in the kitchen. This chicken house serves up the best grub north or south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Simpsons fan favorite Cletus takes all the best parts of the chicken and serves them up in true hillbilly style. Choose from Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, Double Batter Chicken Platter, Chicken Thumbs and more.

We had a reservation for 730. We didn't get seated till 7:40. We didn't get drinks till 7:55pm. And it was mostly empty! We waited for over 15 mins before a waiter came! Then we ordered. I have a Gluten allergy and I asked what items were gluten free, was told they were marked, there was 2 items on the menu marked, BUT when I asked about certain dishes, now it's like 5 items! I got the Tomato soup, DONT! Someone opened a can of tomato sauce and heated it up. No flavor, chunky texture, and horrible all over. It is NOT a BISQUE! I went to culinary school and worked in a kitchen, what I ate was horrible! My kids grilled chicken looked BOILED! And served with white rice. No salt or pepper on the table to add flavor, just handed ketchup. The Alfredo tasted like someone opened a flavorless jar and put it on. My son hated it. My husband's burger was small and it came out cold. I asked to be compensated for the soup, I didn't eat it. I can only say the spinach dip was good with a lot of spinach in it! We also had the chocolate creme brulee... There was BARELY any sugar on top, and it was definitely not freshly caramelized like it is SUPPOSED TO BE! It didn't crack, it was mushy. Overall, not worth the $100 we spent. Should have and WILL FROM NOW ON, Go to Bubba Gumps.
The service was amazing. I am gluten-free and they were willing to adjust the ingredients in order meet my needs. They were very friendly and accommodating.
