TLDR: This location doesn't take allergies seriously. Me and my wife always loved BJ's, and we even had our engagement party here, but after tonight, I doubt we will go back. First, I was denied a alcoholic drink due to my ID being on my phone even though it was accepted multiple times prior. Second, I ordered the slow roasted sirloin and was told they were all out. (I got the prime rib instead). Third and worst of all, my wife ordered a gluten-free prime rib dip, and we explicitly said this must be gluten-free as she has an allergy. We received the food, and immediately, my wife noticed something was off. The bun was not individually wrapped like it was at other BJ locations. We asked the waitress before eating, and she stated it was gluten-free as she put it on the ticket. After my wife takes a few bites, she finds a random fry under the bun, and her heart sunk immediately as the fried aren't gluten-free and the food was contaminated. We informed the waitress, and the most we got is that we are so sorry and will comp the sandwich. Not is she ok? Do we need to call 911? Let me get the manager or anything. Luckily for my wife, she doesn't have that severe of an allergic reaction, but it will cause several days of constipation, bloating, a rash, and lots of discomfort. Eventually, they comped my food as well as I barely took two bites, and all we paid for was my wife's drink. I highly suggest this location takes better precautions with food allergies going forward as this could result in someone's death who has a much more serious allergy. So good! The portions are great and the food is delicious. We got steak, salad, chicken and ribs and all were delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable about which dishes were gluten free and gave us great recommendations. They have a fish tank which was great for the kids.

Da Sesto’s is always a must-visit whenever we’re in Saint Petersburg. The food is consistently amazing, and the staff is both friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. My wife has a gluten sensitivity, and they are exceptionally accommodating. The staff knows every ingredient and communicates effectively with the kitchen to ensure her meals are prepared safely—a rare and appreciated level of care. This restaurant has become a favorite for our family gatherings. Despite its modest exterior, Da Sesto’s comfortably accommodates our party of ten, including children. While the wait times can be a bit longer due to the size of our group and their commitment to made-to-order meals, it’s never unreasonable and always worth it. Da Sesto’s holds a special place in my heart—it was my father’s favorite spot. The owner would often go out of his way to cook him something special off the menu, which speaks volumes about the personalized service here. It’s rare to find a family-owned business that combines professionalism, courtesy, and kindness so seamlessly. Add to that their consistently delicious food, and Da Sesto’s feels like a true hidden gem. I can’t recommend it highly enough—this place is truly one of a kind.

We accidentally stumbled upon this place when in the area and so glad that we did. The entire menu/restaurant is plant-based and is perfect for vegetarians and vegan. They also had items labeled gluten free, however they did have a warning that there could still be cross contamination. We got the mix vegetable delight, avocado salad, and wings with ranch. There were so many amazing menu options that we had a hard time deciding so I can't wait to go back again. Especially for the Boba tea!

They have Gluten free bread which opens up alot more options for people who are gluten free. and the food is A+

The server was very friendly. She was able to provide a clear selection of gluten free menu options and even some ciders on tap and in a can they had. The jambalaya was very fresh with its tomato sauce with a bit of a kick. Definitely glad I paired it with the salad! My table ordered some gator bites as well for appetizers (not gluten free) but they said that they were amazing and the best they had in a while.

I have been coming here for the last 6 months and each time the food here has been fantastic. Their fresh bread and their bahn mis are probably the best I have had in town. We commute all the way from downtown Tampa for this place. Girlfriend is gluten free and has yet to get glutened from here so it's her favorite spot too for pho.

This little hidden gem is to die for. Excellent service, the little adorable man who sits in close to the entry door is a sweetheart! I am assuming it might be the father or uncle. Quality of food was top notch and the cleanliness of the place was up to par. Keep it local, Mama Pops places have yet to disappoint so far. FYI my husband and I ate 2 vegetable soups plus 3 boiled eggs with a vermicelli entree addition to that and our check came out to less then $19.80 Well deserving of a big tip. When you see construction workers come in and eat clean it goes to show you how pleasant and pleasing the food can be. They do serve Gluten free Pho soup and use little soy or non at all depending in what soup you opt to choose. So I was happy they had all varities available specific to your diet needs.
