We live right down the street. I have a gluten allergy, and as a celiac they are always very accommodating and honest about the ingredients. The pho is excellent, they are fast and friendly.
This spot is a go-to for fresh, tasty meals that evoke warm memories, perfect for gatherings or just satisfying cravings.

That Neapolitan pizza is the best in ferndale next to como's deep dish. All depends on what kind of pizza you're craving.
Also their brunch is quite nice.
The friends I went with had a gluten and the other a diary allergy and they were able to accommodate them.
An inviting spot with a diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences, making it a hit for anyone seeking fresh and tasty options.

Anita’s Kitchen has been a favorite gluten free restaurant. Today, however, i had an unsettling experience. Kevin, a new waiter, decided he was too overwhelmed to be my server. He ignored us went to a different table and took their order. I politely asked if he was our server, because he was taking care of every other table in the section, except for ours, he said he was not! I had to request a manger to take our order, the manager was great. He was kind and professional. If it were not for the manager, I would have walked out. Kevin, you missed out on a 30% tip
Perfectly cooked crusts and fresh sauce make this spot a go-to for pizza lovers looking for a standout experience.

I am gluten free, and when you order gluten free crust or bread it needs to be toasted or crunchy. Nick's pizza did a FANTASTIC job cooking my pizza perfectly! I will only order from them from now on. My friend had a regular crust that was also cooked perfectly. The sauce was also fantastic, so fresh.
Thank you so much!!!
Quick service and a focus on cleanliness make this spot stand out, delivering delicious options even during busy hours.

As it should be.. the staff and owners were consistently hospitable, accommodating and nice to us no matter how many times we asked for things and asked questions. By default you eat the Ethiopian way with your hands using the injera bread and there’s an option for a gluten free teff bread as well. A courtesy hot towels service is provided to better clean your hands before and after eating. You can get yourself a separate plate and silverware only by request. We requested plates, silverware and serving spoons bc we were a group of 8 and it just made us more comfortable to eat off our own plates with our hands, bread and/or forks. I’ve never tried the meat dishes here before but others in the restaurant seem to enjoy it. I have been a couple of times for the plant based vegan feast and it’s absolutely delicious!! You get 7 different authentic Ethiopian cooked vegetables and you can add on the fresh salad. It’s all you can eat and they’ll keep bringing more of whatever you like. The price is right, where else are you going to have all you can eat, seven different dishes all for around $25?! They also have delicious dairy free sorbet in different flavors. The atmosphere is colorful and cozy, feels like you’re in another country. I would highly recommend this place to vegans and meat eaters.
This spot offers a warm twist on bowls, like a hearty vegan root veggie hash served in a skillet, perfect for a lively meal with friends.

Not sure why they label gluten free on their menu when the food is cooked in shared friers. I get some ppl have a preference but we came bc the menu appeared to be gluten friendly until we read the fine print.
They have a whole GF menu yet nothing is *actually GF. Would not recommend for folks with celiac disease. They are not willing to take simple steps to reduce cross contamination. I asked about changing gloves, using a clean roller and clean cutting board to make my sushi rolls the kitchen refused. I left. Would not recommend
Mistakes forgiven for the free nibbles, loved chugging beer underneath the open sky with pals, all felt right and breezy!

The food and the employees were both top-notch!! Every plate our table ordered (about four different dishes) was fantastic and notably, one of the people in our party had both a gluten and a lactose allergy, so she was worried about not having any options for herself, or being a nuisance with potential substitutions for her order. But the waitress pointed out a couple options on the menu that were both gluten and dairy free already, and that’s a huge plus for people who have those dietary restrictions.
The butter chicken was incredible, the samosas (both meat and veggie) were also delicious—they come with 3 sauces, all of which were also awesome. The names of the two other entrees our table ordered escape me, but they were also delicious. We also ordered some mango and yogurt (I think ??) drinks and they were, you guessed it, fantastic. I especially can’t wait to come grab them when summer rolls around again.
The staff was extremely friendly, very attentive, and even overheard us mentioning it was my sisters birthday, to which they took it upon themselves to play “happy birthday” through the restaurant and then presented each of us with a little rice pudding dessert (which, is the only thing I wasn’t crazy about, but that’s just personally—it was a texture thing and not a flavor thing).
Everyone in our party was raving about the food and service for the next couple days. We will definitely be going again and will encouraging our friends to go there!! A great small business to be supporting, you and yours should definitely give them a shot.

Best vegan & gluten free tacos!
I highly recommend the authentic-style taco trio on corn tortillas and the piña cola.
The house salsas are also phenomenal. All tacos and rice are served with fresh limes---- Use them!
The atmosphere here is lovely with huge modern animal mandala murals and black lighting.
Good food, great prices and the Manager went out of his way to make sure my friend, who has gluten issues, was safe and satisfied! We'll definitely be back!
Expect tasty tacos with unique salsas, delicious hot dogs, and vegan elotes, plus drinks that can be a bit hit or miss.

Pretty tasty tacos (had the barbacoa and bean taco), unique salsas (had the trio), yummy hot dogs (had the Chino Sonoran modified gluten free and dairy free), and vegan elotes. Drinks were hit or miss - some were a little too sweet. Would come back.
My review is loaded with reasons of why I rated as I did… really nice place for sure! Great atmosphere.. they were booked solid for sitting at a table. We sat at the bar. They greeted us and came over to take our drink orders. Drinks were served quickly. Bartender/Server.. his name was Simone so he gets 6 stars for patience for running around 20 million times asking the chef questions. I’m lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, and garlic intolerant. So with that being said it’s 2025 restaurants should be versed in these dietary restrictions. How silly of you to have a menu with gluten intolerance foods highlighted/stated and then switch to a ridiculous menu to only make your servers lives extremely difficult. That poor gentlemen running around all night trying to accommodate. Chef Bruce Allen & Chef Noel Cabrera so many places get it. You don’t. You have to pivot and learn how to accommodate dietary restrictions. Your menu is ridiculous simplify things for customers and your staff! There way of ‘accommodating’ was wait til 10pm let us clean up and then prepare your meal?! That’s ridiculous! I had an extremely long day just wanted to spend time with my significant other have a nice dinner and a good time. Somehow getting food out has become a chore! Thanks
If you have dietary restrictions go to the bar and look for the gentleman I mentioned he will go thru hoops trying to make you happy. I hope they treat him well. If it weren’t for him I would have walked out!
Parking is side street paid or garage paid via app. I saw the meter maid doing his rounds they figure you out and charge! Pay it or you’ll get something in the mail.
