THE BEST INDIAN FOOD IN THE AREA! My husband and I started off just getting the most popular/well known dishes, however, the quality of the food and flavors are so delicious that we started branching out. We have never been let down, and continue to get more adventurous and expand our palates. So far we haven’t gotten a single thing we didn’t like! Service is warm and friendly. And I appreciate that they are knowledgeable about gluten free options! Eat here!

They label gluten free on your take out and understand what celiac is. They do make a claim that they can’t confirm 0% risk of cross contact but they take all precautions.

The food and the employees were both top-notch!! Every plate our table ordered (about four different dishes) was fantastic and notably, one of the people in our party had both a gluten and a lactose allergy, so she was worried about not having any options for herself, or being a nuisance with potential substitutions for her order. But the waitress pointed out a couple options on the menu that were both gluten and dairy free already, and that’s a huge plus for people who have those dietary restrictions.
The butter chicken was incredible, the samosas (both meat and veggie) were also delicious—they come with 3 sauces, all of which were also awesome. The names of the two other entrees our table ordered escape me, but they were also delicious. We also ordered some mango and yogurt (I think ??) drinks and they were, you guessed it, fantastic. I especially can’t wait to come grab them when summer rolls around again.
The staff was extremely friendly, very attentive, and even overheard us mentioning it was my sisters birthday, to which they took it upon themselves to play “happy birthday” through the restaurant and then presented each of us with a little rice pudding dessert (which, is the only thing I wasn’t crazy about, but that’s just personally—it was a texture thing and not a flavor thing).
Everyone in our party was raving about the food and service for the next couple days. We will definitely be going again and will encouraging our friends to go there!! A great small business to be supporting, you and yours should definitely give them a shot.

Eat there at midday while looking for a vegetarian restaurant for my sister. It did not dissapoint! I'm not a fan of indian cuisine usually, but everything was vegeterian with some vegan and gluten free option. The meals are really good, but it might be too spicy (not all of them are, it's really well indicated). It's really nice to try something new for a change!

Food was delicious, even the naan, which is always the iffy thing at Indian restaurants, imo. The only thing I didn't like was that the muttar paneer was a little sweet. Lots of vegan and gluten free options.

Amazing place, knows how to deal with food allergies (Peanut/tree nut) and has gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options! Food was wonderful and everyone was very accomodating. My new favorite place!
Great atmosphere with fresh, well-seasoned dishes; just a touch too dark inside, but definitely a spot to revisit for quality dining.

Everything was excellent. Fresh and well seasoned, very affordable and large portions. Very nice looking place inside and out but the lighting is just a little too dark. We had a hard time reading the symbols for the gluten free, dairy free, etc. Will visit again next time we're in the area!

Long overdue review. This restaurant is fantastic and the service is amazing. I have celiac disease and am vegan and they consistently are able to safely accommodate my dietary needs with a smile (literally drawn on my takeout bag with a note about it being vegan/gf.) This provides such great peace of mind. Beyond that, I have purchased food for my father who does not usually like Indian food. And he loves their lamb saag, samosas, and naan, among other items I've gotten for him. It's a hidden gem in Ann Arbor.

We had an excellent experience here! The menu is clearly marked with gluten free and dairy free options- of which there is a plethora of. I highly recommend the Dosas- not all are gluten free, some have semolina so take note, but the Masala Dosa was gluten free and the texture was perfect, the filling was delicious and the chutneys were flavorful!! For those without gluten limitations the buffet option is excellent. Our family loved it- the dahl kitchri and the mango lassi was a fan favorite. Shame we didn’t take any pictures, only because we were indulging. The service was incredible, everyone was very attentive and accommodating. The music videos were also a fun touch.

Are you debating whether to go or not? GO! This is homemade, authentic Indian food made by the most enthusiastic, loving chef you can imagine. The aroma of cumin, cardamom, and garam masala take me back to the kitchens of my aunties. Her balance of spices is perfect! Are you worried it might be too spicy? No problem, Anita can make you a dish that is mild! Do you want it so spicy you start sweating and breathing fire? No problem, Anita can do that too! Just tell her your preference and she will make it to your prefers. She also has vegan and gluten free options . There is just nothing in the world like dipping a piece fresh warm naan into perfectly seasoned masala! So far I’ve only reviewed the experiences your nose and mouth have. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the gorgeous view of acres of rolling orchards and expansive blue skies at Townline Cider works (where Anita is located). You can sip some delicious hard cider made by the Altonen family to complete the experience! I highly recommend you treat yourself some delicious Indian food and hard cidere while taking in the beautiful view! You will be glad you did!

Overall: Great Indian restaurant with delicious food and a great future ahead. Excited to visit again!
The good: The food here is delicious! We’ve tried the chicken tikka biryani, Chana masala, and the butter chicken and all were delicious at a perfect medium heat that we requested. I’m very excited to try their hot level. My SO has a gluten allergy and has yet to have a reaction, so I will say to the staff keep up the good work with keeping cross contamination at bay and we’ll be returning many more times.
The bad: As others have mentioned the wait times can be a bit on the longer side. However, that can be overcome by planning your meal ahead of time, and eventually as the staff gets into the groove of things the wait times should also reduce.
Some feedback: I would highly recommend adding potential allergens in each dish to the menu or noted somewhere on the website for reference.
Large portions and perfectly spiced dishes make this spot a hit, with options catering to various preferences for a satisfying meal.

I'm glad to see there's some Indian food near me, as someone who has to eat gluten free it's one of the best options for take out. The food was great, different than what I've had before but obviously Indian food is going to vary. My boyfriend and I got chicken Tikka biryani mild and it's the perfect amount of spice for a mild, children may not like it though.

The restaurant offers a cozy and modern ambiance with impeccably clean surroundings, creating a perfect atmosphere for conversation. The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, providing prompt and attentive service. The food is delicious, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented, with generous portions that offer excellent value. The menu boasts a wide variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, all reasonably priced. Overall, the dining experience is memorable and consistent, making this restaurant highly recommended for all occasions.
I was worried about trying a new place since I have a gluten allergy, but their website mentioned they have gluten free options. When we got there I asked about what items they had on their menu that were GF. The guy taking our order said his brother is an expert at their menu and allergens so he immediately went to get him to help us with our order. He even brought out the heavy whipping cream from the kitchen that they use to ensure that it didn't contain gluten. They went above and beyond and made wonderful recommendations and we loved the food we got! We got the Paneer Tikka and the Chicken Curry, both were delicious! As an added bonus they gave us a free Mango Lassi! We will definitely be returning!
Yummy and fresh! We've tried this place for carryout twice since they opened. Both times were excellent experiences in terms of food quality and customer service. Very friendly and helpful staff on the phone while ordering as well as at pickup. Very few Indian places in the area actually have goat options (versus lamb), so when I saw this on their menu, I was stoked - and rightfully so as the goat curry was delish. Also, I'm on a gluten free diet (due to intolerance, not trend) and they are very understanding about this request. We will definitely be back, no doubt. In fact, I'm thinking about eating our leftovers as I type this...yum!
Gluten Free Review: Had the lunch buffet, it was really good and they are good at accommodating gluten allergies. The waiter was able to walk through the buffet with me and point out which items are gluten free. He also brought out the roti, which is similar to naan, but gluten free.
Note: I am not not celiac and do not have issues with cross contamination. If you are celiac please speak with the server before ordering.
Delicious food and decent pricing. I’m gluten free and avoid lentils, and found it easy to order. Not only will I order again, I will also encourage others to

Delicious Indian cuisine. One of our Grand Rapids favorites. Plenty of gluten free and coconut free options. We particularly enjoyed the vegetable and onion Pakora. Chicken Tiki Masala was perfectly spiced and delicious with basmati rice. This restaurant is one of our favorites that started as a work lunch recommendation.
