I have been looking for years for a place where my children who suffer from allergies to gluten can eat pizza and not get sick & I thank God I found them, their crew is like family because they make sure they clean & change gloves & they use everything new to make sure they don’t get sick! I recommend them 100%

OMG GO! This place is amazing. We were a group of 6 for a business dinner. I’m gluten free and selected halibut. It was served with boiled potatoes. Immediately upon being seated they serve salad, bread and olives. All of our meals came piping hot and delicious and large portions. They even served churros with chocolate sauce. They offer a ton of desserts, multiple gluten free desserts too. The service is by far the best I’ve ever seen. They give you a warm towel after dinner. The outside seating would be delightful on a nice day. The wine bottle list is bigger than a bible…so many options. I really can’t think of anything negative to say. An exceptionally well run restaurant with authentic home cooked food with a wait staff that really cares.
A vibrant spot for unique tapas and creative dishes, perfect for gatherings or a cozy meal with a great selection of drinks.

Have been to Mompou twice and the food has been excellent. The service is friendly, and never rushed. Excellent choice for anyone who has celiac and needs gluten free options. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates, hanger steak, tuna, and paella.
Expect a flavorful experience with unique sauces and a welcoming vibe, leaving you eager to return for more deliciousness.

Iyron James, Jack Zakka, Hillary Gazanas are an amazing and friendly team and made me smile throughout my meal. Goaynese Dorcely made the best gluten free breakfast sandwich I've had in a while. Thank you!

I’ve been here twice to get a banana choc muffin (gluten free and delicious), a latte and an americano the next day. So good! I love the vibe of the space to and the books. Feel like a good place to study or read.

We love this place! Excellent service, excellent food, great location (in Military Park, next to NJ PAC). We had the jerk chicken and The Shrimp.. Lots of food, well seasoned. They are very accommodating for dietary preferences - vegetarian or gluten free. Our waitress was extremely pleasant, as was everyone else. We will be back.
Hidden gem with standout lattes and mind-blowing cakes, making it a must-visit for coffee and dessert lovers!

Get all the cake!! All. The. Cake..
I'm from Seattle. Finding coffee that meets Seattle standards on the east coast had been an impossible task...until I finished that first sip of strong, vibrant latte. Best espresso I found in that area and it isn't close.
But....the star...was the cake. They had a sample of a pineapple upside down cake. So I are this little bite. Wowwwww flavorrrrrr. So I bought a slice. And the strawberry. And the chocolate. And the GF chocolate. All were absolutely insane. I can't believe they got that flavor infused like that. Especially the strawberry. Like even the gluten free chocolate was like the best chocolate cake they've had in ages.
Place was really hard to find and identify. But once you find it......

My boyfriend and I are visiting from Kansas and he is celiac so we decided to try this place because of their gluten-free options. I've never really eaten Pokey so I was planning on going to Taco Bell afterwards. I ended up trying the California roll Bowl and was blown away! The sauce they use is delicious and I literally couldn't stop eating it! Zee made our food and was super friendly and helpful in customizing our smoothies. Give this lady a raise 🙌 also bring a location to Wichita KS. We'd love to have you!
My husband really wanted to try this place after looking at all of the Ironbound restaurants.
Their gluten free selection was small but we still ordered plenty of food.. I wasn't expecting all of the food to have the exact same flavor profile and be underseasoned. Our original waiter was fantastic with us, but the other had no clue. The chicken pimento, pulpo and the pork all tasted the exact same underseasoned with strong notes of pimento pepper. These dishes were relatively disappointing for how expensive these tapas are.
While the pulpo was succulent the blackened grilled areas were soggy? No crunch no grill flavor and were only made palatable with a large dose of lemon and salt. The only highlight flavor wise was the lamb special but that still missed the mark on texture as it was mostly a gelatinous mass. The scallops were okay but definitely sub par for the hype. Tuna was flavorful but the honey mustard made the dish sad.
One of the rare occasions we have the chance to eat at a restaurant especially for his birthday and it was a sorry disappointment unfortunately... He did mention that the highlight for him was the 1906 beer and that the bread was delicious.
Fresh, delicious meals with generous portions and wallet-friendly prices make this a go-to lunch spot for many locals.

I work nearby and have been having lunch here for months. The owner and Raquel (I think that's how her name is spelled) are always humble, quiet and kind and so are their staff members.
The food is fresh, delicious and affordable. I always get the Pollo Medio with some form of plantains and another side. Also, there are plenty of gluten and dairy-free options!
The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good so you can eat half and be full!
Love this place! It sits alongside two other vegan restaurants run by the same owner. So you can pick and choose what you want from all three places. If your a health food junky like me who has to eat gluten and Dairy free or just love to eat good food... COME TO THIS PLACE. I had the vegetarian sloppy joe and since the bread it came with was not gluten free they allowed me to have it on corn tacos. OMG DELISH! And the cucumber dressing was so wonderful I wanted to drink it. 😆 And for desert I had chocolate blueberry tort with fig crust. This is a guilt free treat that’s Not too sweet and leaves you leaving light and airy like your ready to go hike a mountain. 🏔 🥾 CHECK THIS PLCE OUT!
We've hired Happy Belly to cater a number of our parties. The food is always delicious and healthy with so many options for guests who are gluten free, vegetarian and vegan as well as those who will eat anything. The chocolate walnut brownies, the curried humus and the many dipping sauces that are served with veggies are just a few of our favorites.

Really good Boba tea and rice balls!
I got the plum which is gluten free and the spam. The spam isn't normally gluten free, you have to ask to have it pan fried separately to avoid cross contamination from their fryer.
Forgot to take photos b/c this was a spur of the moment dinner decision; hungry and seeking respite after camping all weekend then driving home during heavy rain. Despite being not dressed properly for the atmosphere, they still treated us very well. So happy we tried it! Absolutely delicious seafood, wow. Fantastic portion size to price per plate. Great service all around.
However was disappointed I couldn't eat the stuffed scallop appetizer, and I think my salmon (generous filet size) still had been doused in flour for pan-fry even after double-checking after initial order. Hoped the server would tell me of existing Gluten in my dinner choices after telling him I wanted Gluten-free, but I'll take it upon myself to be more direct during my ordering.
Will definitely be going back for date night with the hubby or a girl's night with friends!!!
Cozy and off the beaten path, this spot offers a welcoming vibe with friendly locals and a popular bar perfect for a relaxed evening out.

Went with my wife and sister on a recommendation from a friend after picking my sister up at Newark airport. 14 minute drive from the terminal. Not located on the main drag. Parking was available off street around the corner. Walking to and from for a block and a half was safe and easy. The dining area in the front is not large. It feels like a cozy neighborhood place. Mario took great care of us. The Octopus and Clam appetizers were delicious, as were our entrees. Nice selection of wines. The locals at the tables nearby were very friendly and we shared a story or two of visiting Portugal. There is a bar area in the back which was pretty full on a Friday night. Accommodated my wife and sister's gluten allergies very well. Thanks Mario and Portucale for a lovely dinner!
Located in Terminal C, this spot offers hearty burgers and crispy fries, making it worth the wait despite a busy service.

I ate at the one in terminal C at EWR. The food was good, but the service was a little off. Seemed like they were short staffed, but they were nice and were putting in the effort to keep up. Although it took bit bit long to be seated, the service time from then on was ok. They don't have many gluten-free friendly options, but the omlets looked really good. I had a bunless burger and fries. The burger patty was very good, and was obviously not a pre-formed and frozen pressed patty. Think hamburger steak. I didn't miss the bread. They served it on a generous portion of lettuce leaves, onion, and tomato slices. Fries were hot and crisp. Have a little patience and you will enjoy. I would go back again.
Enjoy quick takeout that’s always ready to go, perfect for Thai food lovers seeking reliable flavors without the wait.

I've never had a sit down meal here but I like to order takeout. Since I work about 10 minutes away, I call before I leave and by the time I walk down, the food is ready. I love Thai food and they don't disappoint. I also have wheat allergies so having gluten free options really help. I haven't had any cross contamination while coming here.
Excellent food...try the paella! We shared one & still had some to take home. Friendly knowledgeable staff, warm ambiance, not noisy. Free parking across the street from the restaurant. Paella marinara is gluten free too.
