So far have had the salmon lox, chicken and waffles, goat cheese and cherry, and some sort of potato waffle. they’ve all been spectacular. The waffles are fluffy and sweet. Extra brownie points for having plenty of delicious gluten free options. The restaurant itself leaves much to be desired. A lot of it is simple maintenance and upkeep issues. Also limited seating inside but plenty outside.

Ate here twice in a week visit, because hot dogs are always good, and almost the whole menu can be made gluten free. Lots of creative specials, or build your own for the best experience. Tots are super crispy, and so tasty they need no sauce. Good enough to have regulars that eat there every day.
This lively spot in Nob Hill boasts a laid-back vibe and serves up a delicious menu, making every visit a delightful experience.

They have some gluten-free food options available, just ask. I was there to meet two friends from out of town and they raved about the fish and chips but I was not able to indulge due to my celiac. We arrived around 4 pm and it wasn't too crowded but the place was packed when we left. Overall, it was enjoyable for everyone in my group.
With a vibrant atmosphere and ample vegetarian options, this spot impresses with tasty dishes and generous portions.

I'm a newly diagnosed celiac. Most of the gluten free food blogs around town have high praise for Fan Tang. Honestly, my food was underwhelming. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it wasn't fried, it was basically boiled white meat chicken breast with sweet chili sauce on it. It didn't even have the sesame chicken flavor. My husband also ordered gluten free sweet and sour beef so I could try, and his was marginally better (the meat was velveted so at least his sauce stuck to it), but still not anything to write home about. This is not it, fam. Just because we can't eat gluten doesn't mean we should settle for subpar food. Stop letting people charge you $13 a plate for this.
On the bright side, I didn't get sick. That's the only reason I even left any rating at all.
Expect top-notch quality and speedy service that leaves everyone impressed and coming back for more.

This place makes my week every time I go. It is such a peaceful place to spend my lunch hour, and the person working the register manages to calm my soul no matter what kind of day I am having. The food is so wholesome and intentionally made with good-for-you ingredients. My go-to favorite dish as of late is the gluten-free chicken pesto crepe.

Soo Bak Seoul Bowl is a Korean bibimbap restaurant in Nob Hill on Hermosa.
The venue has an industrial feel with concrete floors and metal chairs in a repurposed auto maintenance building with garage doors. The wood-topped tables warm the space up a bit, but the focus here is the food over the ambiance. Luckily they do the food really well so that isn’t an issue!
Patrons order at the welcome station, after which they’re given a table number and can find whatever table suits them. There’s a station patrons can get their silverware and water; any other drinks will be delivered. They have both alcoholic and zero-proof drinks. You can see the food being cooked and prepped by the open kitchen staff while you wait.
I got the Staff Pick bowl, one of eight of the specialty bibimbap bowls Soo Bak offers. The Staff Pick comes with “Fried Rice, Teriyaki Chicken, Sautéed Daikon, Carrots, Edamame, Asian Pickle Chips, Sesame Cabbage, Korean Red Pepper Sauce, and Sriracha.” I added the Sriracha Lime Crema from the Fire Bowl, which is another specialty bowl.
The Staff Pick was delicious! I liked the mix of rice, meat, veggies, pickled veggies, and sauces. The sriracha wasn’t overwhelming or too hot and gave the bowl a small hint of heat and flavor without overpowering it. The sriracha lime crema was not hot, so adding it was another good flavor profile that complimented the bowl. The chicken was well cooked and juicy - no dryness or toughness whatever. It was the perfect ratio of ingredients that seemed to go together well.
This was my first time trying Soo Bak as well as bibimbap, and I’m already excited to go back and try a different bowl. Besides the specialty bowls, patrons can build their own with choices of 19 toppings, 5 kimchi selections, 7 proteins (three of which are vegetarian), and 9 sauces. They have vegetarian and gluten free options labeled on the menu so it won’t be hard to make those specific bowls.
If you’re in the mood for some Asian food in a casual setting, go check it out.
Absolute gem hidden in Nob hill. This latin resturant is sure to please and has become a favorite spot of mine. The service is always fantastic. The food amazing. And the place sparkling clean. The offer great gluten free and vegetarian options.
Great if you like spicy homemade food.
Owner seems to be fairly knowledgeable of what is and isn’t gluten free (the staff not so much).
She explained how they can use gluten free soy sauce to make most dishes.
**GLUTEN NOTE: She didn’t seem to know that the wide rice noodles that they use in the drunken noodles are never actually gluten free. We ordered that to-go so I didn’t notice until much later.
**SPICE TIP: The food is EXTREMELY SPICY, even when you order it mild/no-spice, as we did. If you are sensitive to cumin, chili powder, cayenne, etc you might want to stick to the fried rice and egg rolls. I can vouch the pineapple and peanut butter curry’s we got were both SUPER spicy, and also the drunken noodles which was milder but still had spice.
My husband who loves spicy food couldn’t handle the spice of the food we ordered as mild.
It was completely empty at around lunchtime to 3pm, so definitely worth checking out if you are craving spicy Thai.

I still like this place! It’s maybe considered kind of old school these days, but they have good pizzas, including a gluten-free crust option, and a variety of great salads. They have a huge selection of local beer, And they have adept, friendly staff. It’s a good “Cheers” kind of place to go.
Known for its amazing dishes and unique sauces, this spot is a hit with those who appreciate well-crafted meals and authentic flavors.

Absolutely LOVED our dinner at M'tucci's! My husband and I were on a trip that brought us through ABQ for our wedding anniversary. My husband is Celiac, and staff took it very seriously and communicated with us extensively about risks and steps they were taking to mitigate them. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were great. Would absolutely go back on our next visit!

Great ambiance if you like historical conversions. Great food. Gluten-free options. Amazing staff & the baristo knows what he is doing. 10 out of 10 recommend 👌
I got falafel, tzatziki, and hummus. Everything was PHENOMENAL. The falafel was gluten free and I haven't gotten sick from cross contamination. Definitely give this place a try, it's well worth it!
