Had the pulled pork nachos as a starter and then roasted salmon for dinner, the food was good! I had no symptoms after eating, so it’s safe to say they’re pretty good about avoiding cross contact! I tend to have severe reactions to gluten.
With a lively vibe, the spot offers unique twists like a jam bar and fresh cocktails, making for a delightful southern breakfast experience.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful and very attentive, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Most of their food is gluten-free and they have some vegan/vegetarian options too. The food came out quickly even when they were busy. The portions are large and very satisfying. Five stars all around!

Good Pizza, Good Boone Atmosphere, And Kevin did a great Job as a Server.
Lots of options and a Gluten Free and Dairy Free Crust and Diary Free "Cheese". But, these options are extra and only on small pizzas. Will cost an extra $4-5 per Pizza.
Experience mouthwatering BBQ perfection with a menu that caters to various dietary needs, making it a must-visit gem in town!

We had a great meal. Staff were knowledgeable about the Gluten Free aspects of their menu and were able to tell us what to avoid. Overall a great BBQ experience.

As someone with multiple allergies ( no dairy, no gluten, no latex, not peanut) I don't get to rest out often. But this place accommodated! I had the gluten chicken tenders and they makes in my mouth. Really the best dining experience I have had in years. I cannot recommend enough.
A must-visit spot for tasty burgers and quick service, perfect for uplifting your day after hiking or a long work shift.

I went through the drive thru and Olivia was very helpful assisting me with food allergies. She called the manager out to assist with questions and then they took extra care in packing the food due to a gluten allergy, and assisted with dairy allergy for the grilling of the bread for the double burger. Come Back Shack fries their chicken tenders and breaded items separate from the french fries, so that helps with gluten allergies. Our burgers were excellent as well as the French fries. We will definitely be back!❤😋
Tucked away from the crowds, this cozy spot shines with a welcoming vibe and delicious offerings that keep diners coming back for more.

It was good and extremely yummy had some leftovers to enjoy later on which were still delicious after re heating. Very attentive staff who checked in on us very occasionally. Tons of Gluten free options the only things you couldn’t get gluten free was the appetizers and chicken and waffles. Delicious fries
Didn’t get one of our sandwiches or fry. Our iced coffee was supposed to be vanilla it wasn’t. My daughter has gluten allergy and didn’t get her bun. And to top it off we waited 11 minutes in parking lot to get it and then they still shorted us a fry. I called cause it was going on 15 minutes and the manager argued with me that I got them all. Really you left out half my order and then you think you have any right to argue with me over a fry. I’ll drive to Wilkes from now on. Boone Chick-fil-A sucks

If you are in the area or passing through, you should definitely stop at this diner! The line was out the door when we arrived, but we were seated quickly-- very diner-esque! The whole place oozes with atmosphere, from the old-school photos and jukebox to the handwritten silly signs from the restaurant!
The food was delicious, and there was lots of it on the plate! While the menu doesn't designate gluten free options, I was able to order the Big Daddy meal and substitute the bread for grits. I do not have celiacs, but a strong sensitivity; and I had no issues after the meal. But please use your own judgement.
Overall, this was such a sweet find, and I encourage you to visit!
Expect a cozy, slightly cramped vibe with decent meals, but be ready for a pricier bill and smaller portions.

We love that this restaurant is locally owned.
Very comfortable, laid back atmosphere. Great service. Delicious food! Reasonable prices.
I had half a sprout sandwich and a bowl of French onion soup for lunch and it was amazing! Perfect portion and loaded with veggies! Our waitress was super sweet and so nice.
And the best part for us are the gluten free options! My husband usually gets stuck with a salad or a bun-less burger, but Peppers has gluten free buns and gluten free sliced bread. He had over half the menu to choose from!
With huge portions perfect for sharing, this lively spot guarantees a satisfying experience for everyone in your group.

Loved the dinner my husband and I had on Friday evening. Don't let the prices deter you. Their portions are enough for 3-4 meals! They are also very delicious! There is a gluten free pasta option as well as cauliflower crust for the pizza. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are dining in, ask for Carmen as your waiter. He was awesome and we really enjoyed his service.
Unique downtown spot known for its phenomenal biscuits and perfectly crispy chicken—definitely worth a visit for delicious comfort food!

We were visiting on a weekend vacation and stopped in because I saw they offered gluten free biscuits. I ended up getting a gf biscuit and was told they could also do gluten free fried chicken so got that as well. It was fantastic. Since being diagnosed celiac this past year, eating out has been so hard. Not only did they have gluten free options, took special precautions for my safety in the kitchen, but it was also fantastic. I literally cried eating a fried chicken biscuit this morning because it was the first time I felt truly normal in a long time. I can’t express how meaningful this type of accommodation is for people with autoimmune disorders like mine.
Expect a vibrant atmosphere with incredible options and daily specials, plus a rooftop for those perfect days.

Howard Station catered our wedding at Firerock Station this past weekend and the food was PHENOMENAL! We had multiple guests that said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, and our guests are still talking about it after. I have Celiacs Disease and they made sure that I had some options. Deja was an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything a breeze for us. Thank you Howard Station for being so great! ❤️

Just another bland franchise trying to come into boone and push local out! Juice boone is completely organic, gluten free, and partners with local farmers 😋😋😋
Not to mention, it is SO tacky for palm berries owners to leave reviews to boost their own google - when they used to be juice boone regulars too 😉

The Canteen is a great restaurant in the Lobby of the Rhodes Motel. The seating options are diverse. They have a bar with seating, long tables for groups, single tables for couples, outdoor seating with heaters, and an upstairs reclined seating table with a view out over the outdoor patio.
I had the Wagyu burger which was cooked just as I ordered. They have an option for a gluten free everything bun for the burger that is not on the menu.
The sweet potato fries were delicious.
The Canteen would be a great place to come for a casual night with friends or for a quick stop for a bite to eat.

GO HERE! Huge fan of the Toastery! Breakfast and lunch items are all delicious, and it is obvious they are scratch made. The sourdough bread is phenomenal, and it makes the club sandwich, which has thick ham and turkey (not your traditional think deli cuts). Gluten free options available, which is huge for someone in our family who must eat GF. Thanks,y'all!

Great vibes, gluten-free and vegan options, nonalcoholic options too! The people who work there seem to really take care of each other, and their patrons, and make sure that it’s the safe environment for everyone to the best of their ability.
Expect authentic flavors from a cozy spot, but be ready for a bit of a wait due to limited parking and slower service.

Food was very good. Service was a little slow, but I will wait for fresh food. They have gluten free options. Food is more authentic than the rest of the Mexican restaurants in town. That is a big plus. It is a small restaurant in a bad location because of parking.
The delivery was a bit slow. There are plenty of gluten free options for gluten sensitive people. The variety available in drinks is also great and there are vegan pizza options as well.
This spot boasts a cool vibe with fast service, tasty bar bites, and an impressive selection of drafts in a lively atmosphere.

Awesome place. Traveling through and stopped for dinner and drinks. The server was very helpful when I had questions about gluten free options, which they had several things to offer. I had the buffalo chicken salad sweet potato fries and the spinach and artichoke dip. Food came fast and was very tasty and wholesome for bar food. They had an excellent cider on draft and a gluten free beer in a bottle. My husband loved the house ale. Great music and very cool atmosphere.
We came earlier today for lunch and had a really nice experience, so we came back to order takeout for dinner, and when I asked for a gluten free bun (because I have celiac) the waitress, with red dyed hair, rolled her eyes at me and stomped off. When she came by, I asked if something was wrong and she put her hand up to my face and turned away. She refused to walk up to me to give me my credit card back. I have no idea why I was treated this way. This occurred at 6:30pm on 1/16/2022. The receipt says the bartender name is “Day”. If you’re the owner of this place, you need to reconsider the employment of this waitress. I’m 37 years old and have never been treated this badly by a waitress in my life.
