The food was delicious. The gluten free pita for my giro was fabulous. I have Celiacs, so knowing the restaurant was accredited by Celiac Australia made me feel so confident eating at their restaurant. I would definitely go back.

No longer 100% gluten free, and can’t even cater for it adequately despite saying they can on their menu - didn’t notify us until 30 mins before our booking despite us specifying “gluten free” in our booking 5 days in advance, and couldn’t offer substitutions for their set menu (their menu now says only a couple of things aren’t gluten free, but we were told anything on the grill is no longer gluten free, so the menu is incorrect as well). To make matters worse, they take the full amount from your card for the set menu at the time of booking upfront, and then you have to wait days to get your money back if you’re not going.
This place was an institution for coeliacs - if that’s why you were going, don’t bother.
Opulent vibes and creative shared plates make for a unique dining experience where all dietary needs are seamlessly accommodated.

Dinner for 2 on a Tuesday night which was packed with people, luckily we made a booking.
We got the signature set for $190 per person, which I felt was plenty of food.
Everything we had was delicious and cooked to perfection, especially the citrus butter scallops, glazed fish collar, wagyu shish and slow roasted lamb shoulder. They tried to accomodate my gluten intolerance by swapping for gf bread, gf breadcrumbs and gf chocolate mousse which was great!
Atmosphere was classy and dark however was noisy due to being cramped with people.
Service was amazing with waiters explaining each dish however again it was too noisy to hear them.
It is on the pricier side, we spent almost $500 including drinks for 2 of us, so not a place I’d come to often. But it was nice for a birthday celebration.
This cozy, small restaurant offers a welcoming, homey atmosphere with charming decor and an open, inviting space. It features multiple gluten-free options and a friendly, accommodating staff, making it ideal for those seeking a gluten-free dining experience in a relaxed setting.

I visited this spot because I used to enjoy coffee with friends at Block Place. Unfortunately, there was a long hiatus due to COVID and the closure of many businesses.
I'm thrilled that those times are behind us and Block Place is bustling once more! This charming little lane in the city offers a variety of eateries and cafes to explore.
Vespa Rossa has maintained the same inviting atmosphere and decor from the previous owner. The space feels open and welcoming, with friendly staff and comforting food.
The menu is straightforward and includes a few gluten-free options, making it perfect for a casual lunch or a laid-back gathering with friends.
I tried the mashed avocado toast (I know, so cliché), and it was fresh and delightful. The coffee was equally satisfying, rich in aroma. I also indulged in the tiramisu at the end of my meal. To be honest, the tiramisu was a bit too firm and slightly bitter due to the choice of a darker coffee, but it was beautifully presented and still quite tasty.
I highly recommend checking this place out! Its close proximity to the shopping area makes it an ideal spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a cozy afternoon.
This vibrant spot offers a lively atmosphere with streetside seating and live music, creating an energetic dining experience. While the staff is friendly and energetic, those with gluten sensitivities should note the casual approach to dietary restrictions and potential cross-contamination risks.
