My Mom and I tried this place for the first time tonight and were very impressed, between the food, the service and the place in general! Also we loved that the Gluten Free menu (which I needed since I have Celiac) was a separate menu with FOUR pages!!! This and the care they mentioned taking to make sure my food was safe was appreciated!!! We will definitely be returning and I'm so thankful a coworker recommended Maxime's!!!

Unfortunately, our experience went horribly wrong. We went on the weekend for brunch, and we asked the waiter if a specific item was gluten-free or not. She was not sure, and she went to ask the manager, and they assured us that it was gluten-free. So we ate, and all was good at that point. we paid and left. 5 minutes after we left ate, allergic reactions started. And we felt bad for 3 days after that. It was horrible that they didn't even care if the food is cross contaminated or not. I do not recommend this place if you have food allergies. They don't know how to handle food in the kitchen.

Best falafel I've ever had in my entire life in a very clean and bright Cafe atmosphere. All vegan menu with gluten free options. A real gem, glad I decided to sit down there and eat it while it was fresh and hot 10/10.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yafa Cafe and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and warm lighting created the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure we had a delightful dining experience. Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece. A perfect balance of flavors and beautifully presented. The dishes were incredibly fresh, and the desserts were a sweet indulgence. Despite the high-quality food and exceptional service, the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for the quality provided. The menu had a good variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, which catered to our diverse group. The restaurant's attention to cleanliness and hygiene was also noteworthy. Everything was spotless, from the dining area to the restrooms. Yafa Cafe exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal, this is the place to go!

The best place in Winnipeg to get the most delicious Greek food 😋. It was so wonderful to pick out food and dessert for 7 adults and absolutely everyone enjoyed their meals. One of our family is gluten-free and vegetarian so this was particularly special to totally include her in all the courses. We purchased frozen and fresh items. I don't have any bad reviews to make. All I know is I can't wait for the next family celebration.

Amazing and celiac safe! We ordered dinner for pick up to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The kids had pizza and my partner and I each had pasta dishes. Unbelievably good. I was so impressed with the service we received when we called. Not only were they super knowledgeable about celiac safe food, but they even made a recommendation for me to change my 9 year old’s order as they might find it too spicy. They are fastidious about physical distancing and have a well thought out plan for carry out service and dine in. Sorry that I didn’t take a photo - we scarfed it down too quickly!

Always a classic place to go out for some spaghetti and drinks! Their salad is one of my absolute favourites and I think about it often. The gluten-free rotini is just okay - I wish there were some more sauce options or ways to spice it up. The yummy drinks make up for it though.

The food was fantastic! Huge portions for very reasonable prices. Had the chicken shwarma which was amazing. Tons of gluten free and vegetarian options! Can't wait to go back!

Very friendly staff. Nice restaurant, although it can get loud at peak times due to number of guests. The restaurant has limited gluten free choices (I am gluten intolerant), so the menu was limiting as pasta is served with everything. The only pasta that was gluten free was rotini, it was better than some restaurants I have been to, but still not great. This is disappointing considering the pasta choices currently available on the retail market.

Nice to have a Santa Lucia closer to home. Great food, they are always consistent. Had a lovely date with my hubby. Ps he loves their fried chicken, I had gluten free baked spaghetti.

I went here on a Wednesday night. It was busy so I’d recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table. The atmosphere was nice. I ordered the chicken souvlaki with lemon rice soup, lemon potatos, rice and vegetables for $25. I have some dietary restrictions so I was excited to learn that the chicken souvlaki entree is gluten free and dairy free (they use a vegan butter on the potatoes and vegetables). The lemon rice soup is also gluten and dairy free. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. The only thing I would suggest is giving less mushrooms and more of the other vegetables. There were a lot of mushrooms.

I saw this business on skip the dishes. Sent my husband to check it out and pick up some food on the way home from work. The owner was very friendly and helpful with my husband when requesting some gluten free meal options. We got a family meal of sorts that came with chicken and beef kabobs rice, fries, salad and delicious dips. Great value and taste. Please show your support to this wonderful business.

So you want a delicious wrap or platter decide to visit Best Pizza & Donair - good choice! But as you walk in you notice some people in fancy clothes walking into Stella's right next door. Perhaps they make you feel a little self conscious. Your pants aren't as tight, your hair not in such a fashionable bun... My god... you just realized you don't even eat gluten free!! Well stop right there. Those Stella's people will never know the satisfaction of opening up a styrofoam takeout container filled with delicious hummus, rice, falafels.... True joy delivered to your mouth on a plastic fork. Eat Best Pizza, be proud, and love life.

(July 2017 visit) Supreme experience, flavors, and service. Gluten-free options available, but left to your own regarding possible cross-contamination. One of my kebabs seemed slightly raw, but I was full after eating the rest of the food. Hookahs work well with sterile mouth piece. I had to request more coals once and was there for 2hr. Delicious tea. If only the hookahs used tobacco....

Very friendly people and tasty food. They accommodated gluten free options by putting pita chips on the side of the chicken shawarma platter. Tamarind Soda? Yes please! Everything is fresh and home made and they also have a little store that sells pickled eggplant and other Eastern delights.
