Really great celiac-friendly restaurant. They even have the option of gluten-free pita upon request that's quite delicious. My food accidentally came with a regular pita on it and they immediately noticed their mistake and went back and prepared a fresh, new plate.

A Culinary Gem with a Side of Canine Love! From the moment we stepped into Olea, the ambience radiated warmth, complemented perfectly by their dog-friendly outdoor seating. Dining at Olea felt like a gastronomic journey, each dish a testament to the expertise and passion poured into the menu. The highlights? Oh, where to begin! The specials were an absolute delight, but it was the lamb hash, the Olea Breakfast, and that unforgettable egg dish swimming in a rich red sauce that truly stole our hearts (and appetites). Oh! And do not miss out on the croquettes!! And just when we thought our taste buds had peaked, the gluten-free vegan chocolate cake made an appearance. Admittedly, it leaned towards the drier side, but the accompanying caramel sauce was so divine, we were tempted to ask for a glass of it! Our server was the epitome of professionalism and warmth, ensuring our dining experience was smooth from start to finish. The only minor hiccup was the bathroom situation - its proximity to the kitchen meant navigating the space required some finesse, a fact I learned after a mild scolding from a busy server. But, let's be honest, a small price to pay for the overall exceptional experience. Olea, with its delightful dishes and charming setting, is a must-visit in Fort Greene. This was my 4th time this lovely Israeli place in Brooklyn / Greenpoint. I usually get the shawarma plate which I really like there, however since now I’m Vegan in addition to being gluten free I really struggled finding anything to eat. I wanted the falafel but they said it had gluten, then I selected the sabich without the eggs (so it’s vegan) and I couldn’t have it either since they said the eggplants were with fried with panko, which left me with the fatush salad without the bread in it. When they brought it, I was quite surprised since they left the cheese even though specified I’m vegan as well as there were barely any veggie in it except for the green leaves. I guess this is not the right place if you’re gluten free and vegan because your options are Very limited. If not, you’ll find a great Israeli food such as schnitzel, falafel, hummus and a “fusion” take on shawarma . * the oat milk latte was great

Beautiful place, very hygiene. Great food and options to all kind of people like vegetarians or gluten allergic. They have 17$ all inclusive brunch! 🤩 Probably one of the best priced in the neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I'm no foodie. I'm no influencer. I'm no chicken sandwich expert. But I'm nearly 50, and the chicken sandwich that was served to me, was the best that I can remember. The herbs in the batter were perfect and very tasty, not overpowering and the chicken fillets themselves were melt in the mouth soft. Truly exceptional. I got into a chat with the staff mainly about Google reviews and advertising and so on and they were all absolutely lovely and assisted my daughter who requires gluten-free food as well. I really lovely little place and I hope that more sandwich girls pop up around NYC.

Kitchen was an amazing experience. From great unique cocktails like Jalapeno Margaritas to great food options including Gluten Free. They even extended the happy hour special for us when it was past 7pm. Food was delicious. Had the salmon burger which was awesome. Highly recommend going to this establishment if you want something different and chill

Went here with a party of 9 for my birthday dinner on a recommendation from a friend who knows the Chef. What a great choice. Not only was the food and drink outstanding, but the ambiance and service were perfect. Totally unpretentious but very elegant at the same time. Two of the party members were very picky eaters, and I am gluten free so we were a little bit worried when we saw how small the menu was. No problem. The restaurant was able to work the dishes around our dietary needs and everyone found something they liked. I mentioned on my reservation that I was recommended by a friend who knows the chef, and the chef even came out at the beginning of the meal to introduce himself! Very cool experience. Would go back, would recommend to anyone looking for a good spot to eat great food in a beautiful setting without breaking the bank.

A must, order the veggie Middle Eastern Tacos ! The taco’s are gluten free (corn) and filled with veggies. The tacos looked great, they were flavorful and had a great soft texture. The sauce added a nice zangy taste. Also ordered the Zatar fries, the best fries in Brooklyn. Nice quick option for us gluten free and vegetarian eaters.

Wow! This is a new'ish established restaurant and a must-visit spot to quench your Yemeni food cravings. The food is authentic and fresh, leaving you wishing you could try every single dish. Portions are very generous. The rashoosh is freshly baked and served straight out of the oven, the warm intoxicating aroma will make you want to devour this as soon as it reaches the table - gluten allergies be damned. The Shafoot herb yogurt dish is refreshing and light, and the lahooh is delightfully fluffy. The lamb liver dish is also exceptional. The Adeni (Chai) tea tastes heavenly as if blessed by the tea gods. The service is exceptional - patient and welcoming servers make you feel right at home with typical warm Yemeni hospitality.

This place is hidden gem! Found it by accident and I am so happy I did! My daughter and I are gluten free and we were in the area and decided to give it a try. It turns out the owner is also gluten free! The food was AMAZING! Halal meat, organic hormone free chicken and all home made food. Even the baklava and cakes are made on the premises(even though I can’t eat it). I will definitely be back. It wasn’t just the food that was good, it was the owners, husband and wife are so nice! Very accommodating and made us feel right at home! Thank you!

Lunch menu here is fantastic! They serve gluten free pita bread and fries and many other gf dishes. The chicken skewers were delicious, as were the fries and pork gyro. Totally recommend coming here and will be ordering takeout soon for sure. Fresh ingredients, great ambiance and overall very good quality food.
