Most of the things on the menu are gluten free. Lots of options to choose from. Portions are quite generous and the taste is great. They even provide coffee refills on the house.
So far, my favorite place on the island. Definetly recommend.

I have celiac (strictly gluten-free), and I'm vegetarian. I came here because of multiple reviews that were positive for those with celiac disease, and the restaurant overall had good reviews in general. Unfortunately, I had a pretty poor experience. As vegetarian/gluten-free, the waiter recommended a salad or a warm cauliflower dish in a mole sauce. There was some complimentary pickled vegetables with various sauces and fried tortillas/chips that came out, and the waiter assured me the chips were also gluten-free. I began to eat them, and then they came rushing back later to notify me the chips/fried tortillas were in fact NOT gluten-free. At that point, the dinner was mostly ruined. I ate my main course cauliflower dish which was pretty good, though left the restaurant quickly afterwards. Unfortunately, I did get sick soon afterwards from the food, so I can't give a positive review of the restaurant. The restaurant also just handled it by having the waiter apologize, and then still got charged full price for all the items, and also pressured into giving a tip despite all this. Anyway, definitely not going again.
Nestled among trees, this beautiful spot offers a relaxed vibe, fresh options, and a great atmosphere, making it a favorite for both meals and snacks.

Gorgeous restaurant and amazing food! Ate here on my birthday while visiting Playa del Carmen and was so magical and delicious! I have celiac (gluten allergy) and the team was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable on allergies - Highly recommend the tuna steak - it was so delicious! And the restaurant is actually built around a cenote - super cool experience and some of the best food I ate in Mexico!
Very tasty food prepared with lots of love. Many gluten-free options. They left out the croutons from the Caesar salad and served extra buns made from plantain for the burger. Extremely tasty and the fries are the tastiest on the island.
Enjoy stunning ocean views and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for a lively time with family and friends.

Went here for New Year's with the family and we enjoyed our time.
Although the music was blasting pretty loud they have a massive selection of delicious food and drinks. They have plenty of good celiac options as well. With it right on the ocean it has great views during the day and the ocean breeze is refreshing.
I can definitely recommend this place.

Wow, wow, wow! Rarely have I had such good service! Sangria was extremely good (tip: order the 1/2 liter straight away, it's cheaper đ). Pizza bread was amazing too! Ravioli too! Gluten-free pasta is also served. Every heart beats faster đđŒ

Found this little outdoor gem and am so thrilled! The margaritas are delicious-strong/not too sweet! Plenty of gluten and dairy free options. The staff are kind and attentive. The outdoor garden is magical and the outdoor indoor bar looks really quaint and inviting! I would definitely come back!
Very good service, excellent prices. The passion fruit lemonade is delicious. Highly recommended!!! And many gluten-free options. Dessert too, and very delicious. Don't stop coming if you pass through Isla Mujeres.

They only have two vegan things. One is a porridge and one is a "bowl" which is basically beans at the bottom and chips on top and it's served with two fried dry tortillas. So it's flavorless chips on beans. When I asked for hot sauce they brought me chilli oil. So flavorless spice on top of my flavorless food. But it looked really pretty. So that's why the extra star. I definitely wouldn't eat here if you're gluten free. You'll have to eat 20$ chips. Oh and bottles of water are 4$ so if you ask for tap water they'll pop open another small bottle of water so you'll end up drinking 8$ worth of water in like two sips. I'm literally still thirsty. I'M LITERALLY still thirsty. đš Not good for Vegans. Not good for gluten free.

Not in the hotel but went for the food. Definitely recommend if you are in Bacalar to try out the Tacos. Brenda was very attentive to my girlfriend's gluten free needs. All tacos were 100% made of corn and they were delicious and affordable!

My favorite tacos in the world! All made from blue corn so totally fine for gluten free people like me.
Order the chicken tinga and chuleta. Also the pan de elote - sweet cornbread. My friend is obsessed with the caramel-y sauce that comes with it on the side (I find it too sweet with it).
My vegan friend said the mole taco was the best taco sheâs ever had in her life, period.
The hibiscus drink is a tad too sugary for me but thatâs the case everywhere on the island so I just dilute it a bit.
Theyâre super nice here and food comes out fast! I came here three times in four days the last time I was in Cozumel.
Also if you do take out, the food is actually shockingly still pretty hot as they wrap it up really well, which I appreciate.
A lively spot teeming with authentic vibes, tasty offerings, and plenty of options to satisfy diverse cravings.

What a spot in bacalar. Was reccomended by numerous people before.
Loads of taco filling options.
Good for gluten free and veggies!
The burritos are quite greasy Iâd recommend the tacos more.
Great margaritas as well
Fabulous food. Very friendly server (spoke fluent English) and service was super fast possibly during to the pouring rain scaring off some 9f the tourists. I had the rice bowl with steak, my son had a burrito, others had quesadillas and tacos as well as guacamole, salsa fresca & chips. All liked their food. They have a wonderful & varied selection of hot sauces they make fresh (loved the peanut chipotle). Many gluten free options. Parking is difficult to find but be patient, the food is worth it. Setting is an open air bar with straw thatched roof. They accept dollars or pesos.

âââ I'm vegan + Medical Medium + gluten-free and mostly fat-free and corn-free.
My way of eating can be hard to maintain while traveling.
But at the TaquerĂa El Mexicano was very helpful and made a special dish just for me with veggies and potatoes đ„ đ„đ„Ź
The waitress was very help and made sure she was right about all my special need by asking in the kitchen đđ»
đ§đ§ It's important to order âsin manteca [animal fat often used for cooking vegetarian dishes] and sin queso [cheese]â.
đFor drinks I had a watermelon juice from the menu. Remember to order without sugar [sin azĂșcar].
The dish was a mix of veggies fried on the pan (zucchini , free beans, carrots, onion and cabbage).
The dish was a little oily but I forgot to ask for it without oil only âsin mantecaâ
The potatoes turned out to be french fries - but I wasn't specific on that part when ordering, and of course I'll get french fries in a touristic area as Cozumel, since that's what most tourists want đ€·đ»ââïž
The dish had no spice added at all, so I added some habanero salsa, and it was fine.
I think I would have had better luck ordering a salad đ„
The watermelon juice was huge and very delicious đ
âââ I would love my vegan gluten free dish 3â and 5â for the watermelon juice.
My family was more satisfied with their meals and especially the huge drinks, so I'll give it 5â for the drinks 4âoverall.
We paid 850 $MX for 4 main courses and 5 drinks.

Delicious dishes, when we arrived they gave us a starter of toast with sauces. All the staff were very friendly and attentive to anything we needed.
They have gluten free options as part of their menu which was an important point in deciding to have our last lunch in Cancun here because I have celiac disease. I will definitely return!

Excellent food and patient, attentive service.
Laura answered all our questions and we were pleased to know the entire menu, including pasta, is made with corn. Two of us are gluten sensitive so happy to find MaĂz Maix! Music was a bit loud but otherwise ok.

Great facilities and rooms. The garden room exceeded expectations! So spacious and beautiful, with a surprise ocean view. Everything is well maintained. Spa was 10/10 and Real Coconut Kitchen next door was beyond amazing for my husband with celiac.
