This place has a lot of great gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options, with no modifications needed since the dishes are already made that way.
My favorites are the Al Pastor and Brussel Sprout tacos, really flavorful! Their tortilla chips are also pretty good.
There has always been tables available when we’ve gone, and the service has always been fast.
I'm embarrassed to say it was the first time visiting in my 20+ years living in downtown JC. Even worse, I've been to every other taco place and this was my last to visit. If you're getting takeout, I'd recommend another taco spot but if you're eating in-person definitely visit. We had the shrimp ceviche and Carne tacos (5 minis w/ rice & beans for $17, super economical) for food. For drinks, we enjoyed 'The Neil' margarita (w/ one Marlee thrown in) and bubbles option. The waitors were extremely helpful and familiar with the menu. Celiac Annie felt at home and was able to partake in all the food options mentioned. I cannot wait to come back. Total package... Presentation, atmosphere food, and drinks...
I've been here about 4-5 times over the past several years and it never disappoints. First time attending a Sunday brunch and overall good experience (even during Covid times). Had the pulled pork nachos and rib sandwich along with a bloody mary and breakfast margarita (not shown). Celiac Annie had the eggs, chorizo, potatoes, and queso brunch dish with prosecco. Unfortunately, the waiter did not mention the chorizo and queso both had gluten and therefore the dish was slightly underwhelming. Still tasty and our fault for not asking.
Manny the manager was amazing! Very attentive to my allergies. He kept double checking everything was okay with my meal. Gluten friendly options with an entire gluten free menu. I will be back!
