White Duck Tacos are a must if you're in Asheville! The tacos are amazing, staff is friendly, and the location on the river has a great outdoor seating space! Great for gluten free needs and very dog friendly.

Went there for a bite to eat before seeing a show nearby. There's a great selection of tacos, along with gluten-free & dairy free options for them. All of them were excellent! Plenty of seating, friendly & prompt service. We'll be back again!

Excellent quality "fast " food. I've eaten here many times. They have a variety of options, including vegan and gluten-free. Inside dining can be noisy. Outdoor dining in the backyard is preferable if the weather is nice. There's lots of picnic tables with umbrellas.

We went here for my moms 70th birthday and holy smokes did it exceed all of my expectations. The service was incredible, attentive and sincere. Our server did an amazing job of staying on top of all our needs while also giving us space to enjoy and never making us feel rushed. We took almost all of his recommendations for food, from apps to mains and dessert and each one was spot on and delicious. I so appreciated that management came to our table to check in and how special they all made my mom feel. The food was out of control good with so many gluten free options for me that everyone enjoyed sharing. The vibe and atmosphere were perfect for a nice dinner, celebration or some romance. I can't believe I waited this long to go here even though it's in my neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my mom. I'm a customer for life now and I can't wait to go back.

Taco Temple is the best taco joint in Asheville. And I'm from Austin, Texas, so I know tacos. They have fresh, healthy options as well as decadent ones, and everything can be accommodated for a Gluten Free and/or Dairy Free diet (although probably not for Celiacs with cross contamination). Great Guacamole and salsa options, too, as well as a great variety of sides and salads. It's counter service, which is fast and easy, and the indoor and outdoor seating is charming and cheerful. Great place for a casual first date! They also have a drive through window pick up for take-out (order ahead of time), which is super convenient and pretty quick. When I'm missing Austin noms, this is where I go.

We so appreciate the hospitality we get from all the staff here, especially Liza! They take care in addressing dietary needs and allergies - and have a lot of options - just ask! The staff knows what's in their food. it's a great comfort to know the fryer and tortilla chips are gluten free.

HIDDEN GEM of Asheville! Don't let the outside fool you, this place serves up DELICIOUS food all made from scratch. I know good Mexican food (from TX) and this place tops many places back home. Any place that makes their own tortillas is doing it right and pouring love into their food. The entire menu is GLUTEN FREE too! We got... - The flautas (Class of 31) were perfectly fried and filled with their charbroiled chicken. - The salsa trio and homemade chips were the BOMB! - The chicken plate and it could easily serve 2 adults. Rice and beans are full of flavor too. This is NOT your typical tex mex place that's loaded with cheese and flavorless. Give it a try already!

Undeniably good Mexican food! Tacos are traditional with the cilantro and onions. The enchiladas are really good. The fresh made salsa is the right amount of heat. This Last visit, I think someone forgot the lemon juice or lime. Needed some acid. You know me, I'm very gluten sensitive, and I didn't get sick!! That's always a win!!

Okay this is an institution locally in Asheville. We can never get in but were able to snag a two top for our engage-anniversary. Firstly the Margaritas were excellent and well worth the price. We had the combo Ceviche and it was tasty - 3 different types with different seafood. I am gluten free so I was limited on menu items. I ordered the vegetarian chili relleno - it was okay - interesting let's say. My husband had the enchiladas - the sauce on this one was very good. They restaurant gave us a little sparkling wine and chocolates which was nice! I do like the ambiance in there.

Yummy, authentic Mexican food. We had steak tacos, shrimp tacos, and fajitas. All were delicious! The chips and salsa were incredible. Two of our drinks (fountain drinks) arrived to us tasting like carbonated water … our server not only went back and made sure our drinks were prepared correctly, but he also didn’t charge us for them! // GLUTEN-FREE options available

I grew up in Los Angeles. This is the best Mexican Food in Asheville. Food and service are excellent. Restaurant is very clean. I have a gluten sensitivity and I always feel great after eating here.

The shrimp tacos are amazing! I had them prepared compliant for a gluten-free diet and did not have problems. The diner vibe doesn’t mesh with Mexican food.
