Staff are friendly, they offer gluten free and the toppings/flavours are good. I was really excited to come here. However the shop reeks of rotten coconut oil and the doughnuts themselves taste overwhelmingly of it. I think if you can't keep ontop of using fresh oil you need to use something that won't spoil so easily. Especially for the high price they charge. I had hoped to buy a box but I couldn't finish one because of the gone off oil taste :( Edit: I don't mean to imply they re-use oil, but that they are using oil that has gone off/been open too long. They got my donut fresh from the back and it was served hot to me since there were no gluten free flavours I wanted out already, and my partner's normal non-gf donut also tasted of off coconut to him and was from the window display.

Great spot! My server was celiac herself and explained everything that was safe. Almost all pastas can be done gf with gf penne or linguine and most of the apps and larger plates are gf too. I enjoyed the burrata caprese and gf carbonara. Highly recommend!

Absolutely spectacular! Such a fun, friendly, and beautiful atmosphere. Best servive. Such love. MY HEART IS SO FULL! The family feel, the melody and tune of the entire place. The people! The connection. And the safety and cleanliness. I have Celiac and they were very accommodating. I felt so safe to eat. And I ate it all! 😋 Can't wait to be back!

I hate to have to leave this review because everyone was very kind and the food was absolutely delicious but I am celiac and went specifically because they have a menu with gf items listed (and one of the workers told me they’re celiac while I was there so they know what it means) but the edamame was not marked as one preparation gluten free and the other not, simply as the dish being gf (which it typically is at every restaurant I’ve been to so I didn’t question it). I told the hostess when she asked about food allergies that I was celiac so they gave me the gf menu. I ordered the edamame and the waiter did not tell me that I had to order it the certain way for it to be gf and even prompted us to order it the way that was not gf. Even after the reminder of asking for gf tamari to use, still nothing. Then about 3/4 of the way through he came up and was like oh that version has soy sauce, do you want the gf version. We got multiple apologies from people (especially the worker who mentioned that he was also celiac, ironically no apology or even acknowledgement from our server) but I’m not sure what good an apology does when I’m likely to end up sick for the next few days on my trip. Again, hate to write this review because other than that everything was excellent and I would have given everything 5 stars. Just for any fellow celiacs out there, be extra cautious and tell everyone that you’re celiac/confirm the menu items are actually gf the way you’re wanting them prepared. (Gave the food 5 stars because it is truly delicious and marked service way down for the screw up, though I should note they were lovely and very helpful otherwise).

We did not stay here but stopped by for a delicious lunch. All the waitstaff, especially Adolfo, were incredible and paid special attention to detail when it came to food allergies. They have lots of gluten free and dairy free options and are super communicative about it! The food is delicious and I highly recommend the Baja Tacos. We will be back! EDIT: As promised above, we came back the next day for lunch and the waitstaff were again incredible. Not only was the service and food impeccable but they even remembered us and our and dietary preferences. Can’t say enough good things about Ziggy’s, it’s just awesome.

The birria ramen is the most amazing thing i’ve ever eaten, recommend so much. Birria tacos are my fave thing ever and the ramen is just so amazing. The menu is quite small yet the dishes are so fab. They cater well to allergens, e.g coeliac. Defo recommend xx

Found this little outdoor gem and am so thrilled! The margaritas are delicious-strong/not too sweet! Plenty of gluten and dairy free options. The staff are kind and attentive. The outdoor garden is magical and the outdoor indoor bar looks really quaint and inviting! I would definitely come back!

Meal of a lifetime. Truly the highlight of our time in Tulum. My husband is celiac and very picky. He had a fabulous time enjoying all the gluten free flavors on the menu. The service was incredible. We will never forget the deliciousness.

They only have two vegan things. One is a porridge and one is a "bowl" which is basically beans at the bottom and chips on top and it's served with two fried dry tortillas. So it's flavorless chips on beans. When I asked for hot sauce they brought me chilli oil. So flavorless spice on top of my flavorless food. But it looked really pretty. So that's why the extra star. I definitely wouldn't eat here if you're gluten free. You'll have to eat 20$ chips. Oh and bottles of water are 4$ so if you ask for tap water they'll pop open another small bottle of water so you'll end up drinking 8$ worth of water in like two sips. I'm literally still thirsty. I'M LITERALLY still thirsty. 😨 Not good for Vegans. Not good for gluten free.

If there is one place in Tulum that one needs to eat at, it is Onyx Tulum. The food is simply incredible! This place is great for people looking for great gluten free options and the staff are so good about ensuring my daughter who has celiac disease has good food to eat. The highlight of the whole amazing meal was Barbara. She is by far the #1 hospitality professional that we had the pleasure of meeting. If you’re lucky you get to have her be your guide thru the amazing culinary and drink experience at Onyx.

By far the best falafel in Tulum. The tastiest babaganoush, fragrantest pickles tasty salads, delightful humus.. I could just keep raving on about how good all the food here is. I’ve lost count just how many times I’ve eaten there and never got bored and also the kombucha actually tastes really good! I’m also a coeliac so unfortunately I can’t eat those yummy pitas, but all the food is gluten free and freshly made right there. 5 stars every time!

Asian fusion restaurant with a Thai centric menu 🐅 The meal was so satisfying! We thoroughly enjoyed every dish: - Tuna aguachile (try it with the house chili oil for extra kick 🌶️ ) - Crispy rice salad (delicious side with an amazing explosion of flavors and textures) - Meat balls (make your own lettuce wrap! Love the sweet chili sauce) - Lamb red curry (the addition of pineapple balances the smoked meat and creamy curry beautifully) - Fried Chicken (juicy fried chicken 🍗 with a tasty side of pickled cucumbers) The food is great for sharing. Gluten-free dishes are clearly denoted on the menu 📝

Jose Pausto and all the staff here are amazing. They were quick and knowledgeable to point out and accommodate gluten free meals (lots of their menu is naturally) and made us feel so welcome. The sunset bar is great to visit at happy hour for 2 for 1 drinks (300 pesos). We came here many times during our 8 nights in Tulum.

That food was the highlight of our day. We had a really bad day. Nothing worked like it should but than we met Thomas and he offered us a small refreshment after we told him our story. We have had a good conversation with him and decided to eat our dinner at his place. The food is delicious and very healthy. We tried the burger and bowl. It was great in taste and looked good. After that we got some brownies and a coconutwater ice for our gluten-free friend :) The location is cozy and familiar. Warm light and relaxed music. Thomas tries to make the world better with sustainable food.

I had the pleasure of dining at MotMot, the restaurant is located inside the Kan Tulum Hotel. Making a reservation was so easy, I contacted them via WhatsApp for a last-minute booking, and they were quick and accommodating. When I arrived, I was immediately struck by the lush, serene atmosphere. The entire space is beautifully designed, making it ideal for photos, and you honestly can’t overdress here because the setting is that stunning. It’s the kind of place where every detail feels special, from the decor to the presentation. The menu offered a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which was a big plus. I ordered the beetroot, and the flavors were well-balanced and I loved every bite! For dessert, I went all out with their café churro, which was massive and absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t resist a second dessert, a chocolate-banana crumble that was just as incredible. The service was lovely and attentive, adding to the overall experience. After dinner, I took a walk around the grounds and checked out the cenote, which was peaceful and so beautiful. It’s a spot you’ll want to spend more time exploring, especially during the day, after seeing the breakfast menu I want to travel back to Mexico just to dine there again! This is a wonderful spot for a relaxing yet luxurious dinner, and I’m so glad I chose it for my birthday night. I was excited to be visit this place, but they could barely accommodate my gluten allergy and the poke bowl was not eatable. It was basically an overpriced bowl of oversalted rice. They did take off the charge but left without a proper meal.

The pastas are excellent, they are made on site, the gluten-free vegan brownie is incredibly delicious, the service and atmosphere are very good, they also have their own garden... except that we had to ask them to remove the reggaeton because it had nothing to do with the place, other than that a very good experience
