I was there an hour 40mins ago and bought brownie cheesecake slice and a Mince & Cheese pie which they heated up from cold for me, made today apparently. Together they cost me $17.50!! There are no prices displayed so if you're going here expecting to be satisfied on a typical NZ bakery budget then think again, the gluten free premium is rife here. Do note the lack of stars on this review reflects only on the pie of which I'm disappointed, I am half way through the pie now and I still haven't tasted the filling. For what I'm guessing is a $9 pie it's not up to par compared to much better pies in the Wellington region that are cheaper and packed to the brim with filling. Speaking of which I've gotten to the filling at last and it tastes great but still no sign of cheese. Upon finishing the pie now my conclusion is there's less than 1 teaspoon of cheese in this pie. Sorry guys but my experience of a most basic pie is lacklustre. Unlikely this review will directly affect your high rating but pie wanters should know what to expect.

Once again we had a great family birthday dinner. We shared 5 dishes amongst four of us. Two hungry teenagers. Asked for everything gluten free and it was brought out quickly. Prior our cocktails and mock tails were served. The food was great and great service. We will be back again soon

What a delicious lunch. Staff were helpful and friendly. The outdoor area was basic but serviceable. The meal was full of taste despite my mushroom meal being vegan and gluten free. The chef may have removed the allergens but he kept in the taste! My friend really enjoyed her pumpkin filo pastry. Prices were also reasonable at $22 and $18.

We would highly recommend Brinkel's Cake Art. We ordered a cake for our wedding & it was just beautiful. We had 5 coeliac's including myself at the wedding, so we needed it to be gluten free. We chose two different flavours & they were both delicious. Our friends are still commenting to us about how beautiful the cake was. Tom was fantastic to deal with, nothing was a problem. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone & we definitely be ordering more cakes in the future!

Such an amazing place to eat. As someone who is gluten free and vegetarian finding places to eat with good food can be very challenging, but these guys even had options! Great service, fun decor and great food. Highly recommend

The food and service in this place is great. The food is tasty, well presented and the prices are good. The mains are offered in two sizes and prices. The menu offers plenty of choices with lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The staff and atmosphere make it a cosy, relaxing place to eat, with lots of small rooms converted to dining rooms. Will definitely go back and would recommend for a lovely night out as a date night or a group of friends.

I've had a descent experience here before but was a bit averages this time. Service: Server didn't know what coeliac means. Everyone that ordered chips was up looking for tomato sauce. Servers blasting spray cleaner everywhere but not really wiping the tables. Food: $2 upcharge for aoili on a small $28 burger. No presentation. Coffee is incredibly strong tasting, great if that is your thing I suppose. Server plopped the coffee a down and left us to figure out which was Americano and which was long black Atmosphere: place is loud. The cold wind from the door leading outside was unpleasant. Tables was cramped for 2 people and was set with 4 chairs.

Always a nice experience. The burgers are well made, the flavors are great and the service is really friendly. My recent burger lacked some seasoning, which isn't usually the case and my friends all found theirs to be spot on. Their beef burgers can be made gluten free with their GF buns that are really nice and don't taste much different to a regular bun.

Not so great for me, hot chips too greasy and way too salty, I love hot chips and I couldn't eat them. Service was fine, but staff didn't really engage like in some places. Music too loud to talk easily. On the plus side hot choc was lovely. Food in cabinet looked good, but I couldn't see much choice as a gluten-free person.

Beautiful dishes cooked freshly from the Lone Star kitchen. Lovely staff that will help and wait patiently for your decision on the large range menu. Food is warm and displayed in a rustic old cowboy themed restaurant. The seating arrangements are slightly crowded and the servers are often struggled with the demand on food and orders. Easy access for wheel chairs and a disabled toilet available. The restaurant is very good for children and young families due to the large range menu and separate children meals and desserts. Overall the restaurant is beautiful and welcoming to all. My mother had her birthday there tonight and was over joyed as i have very severe allergies and they were able to cater for me with a menu for allergies that are dairy,egg,nut,gluten free etc. I was particularly impressed my our server Renee. Renee was very bubbly and helpful and accommodated all our requests. She was really genuine and a real asset to Lone Star. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope everyone has a lovely time there.

They'll substitute gluten free gf bread in most of their things, making it a really easy place for a celiac. And the kids loved the bottomless pancakes on Saturday mornings

Compared to many other PAK'nSave stores, a large selection of gluten-free products. The bakery also offers comparatively varied and very tasty items such as Choclate Danish and Apple Danish at a good price (around 2 NZD). If, like us, you want to go shopping in a camper van, plan a little more time for parking and unparking. Relatively narrow parking spaces and exits.

There's nothing to fault about Turmeric Cafe. If I could give more stars for service, I would. The beautiful food caters for everyone. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, keto....you won't be disappointed.

Got my 8 year girl 36 mini cupcakes for her class for her birthday treat and was just blown away by the beauty! The kids loved them so so much and also the GFV ones as well - she was over the moon and her class as well thank you so so much you made her special day so much more special for her and mine a little less stressful!! The food and atmosphere are great, however we had a coeliac in our group and he was violently ill for the following days, the staff don't seem interested in catering to dietary needs. Best to avoid if you want to keep your villi.

The drinks were amazing. Service was fast, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Kid friendliness was amazing.Parking was not the best, a bit hard to find parking nearby, there is a parking garage nearby. There are vegetarian options and dairy options as well as gluten options. For those wondering wheelchair accessibility is great no stairs or things in the was apart from a table or two.
