looking for a delicious gluten-free option or simply a perfect place for a date night, Sapristi St-Jean is the ideal place. The restaurant is easy to find, with parking spaces along the street.
We were greeted quickly and seated at a table with a big smile, which immediately set the mood.
As a starter, we opted for the onion soup and olives and pickles. The presentation was neat).
For the main course, the gluten-free American pizza was absolutely delicious, with dough that really tasted like traditional dough (impressive for a gluten-free option). The two salmon pasta was good, but lacked a little salt to really bring out the flavors.
In summary, an excellent experience, with tasty dishes and friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for gluten-free options or just a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere
Cozy spot with a welcoming vibe, perfect for a quick bite or enjoying the local scene, but reservations are a smart move for guaranteed seating!

I'm celiac, so I have to be very careful about where I eat. They have gluten-free options, and after talking with the staff, I was put at ease knowing they take all the precautions necessary to avoid cross contamination when preparing gluten-free dishes.
The restaurant was great and the service was fantastic.

The experience starts with a small crowded entrance space where you are supposed to wait until someone comes to seat you. Once finally seated, you'll wait for your simple order (crepes) for 40 minutes. Neither espresso nor hot chocolate are good, crepes are dry and tasteless. We only came here because they offer gluten free crepes and it was a big disappointment and a waste of time.

Homemade sodas, poutine, burgers and milkshakes. Top quality classics! I would definitely go back! Gluten-free bread available for burgers (but I didn't taste it) quick service outside the tourist season, as it can fill up quickly during meal times in summer!
Enjoy a diverse selection of delicious burgers with plenty of customization options and a welcoming vibe, perfect for a quick bite before your journey.

We enjoyed a nice meal at Chez Victor before our train. We have several celiacs in our party and so eating out can be difficult! The gluten free burger at Chez Victor was delicious and our server had a great knowledge of allergens. A shared fryer meals anything fried is off limits which is a shame but the salad alternative was delicious. We would definitely return to Chez Victor if we were in the area again!
A bustling spot with a cozy vibe, offering smaller portion options and unique drinks, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.

Based on a visit in Aug 2023.
The restaurant was busy at 6PM on a Monday. We didn't have a reservation. However, we were able to get seated quickly. Our waiter was pleasant, professional and efficient. She spoke English fluently. She explained the various menu options to our satisfaction. We were pleased to see that smaller portion sizes were an option. It was just right for us with the soup and starters.
Red wine was smooth and the espresso martini (not on the menu but our waiter said it could be made) was perfect after a long day of hiking.
Food was served promptly. The minestrone was not bad. My wife enjoyed the mussels with marinara sauce (sauce was delicious). Her main course of gluten free pasta with fresh sauce and basil hit the spot. My penne with arabiata was good too.
The restaurant serves gluten free pasta for an extra charge.
Enjoy a lovely atmosphere with expertly crafted dishes; portions may be on the smaller side but are definitely worthwhile for a delightful dining experience.

What a beautiful restaurant nestled in The Chateau Frontenac. It was a non pretentious, warm environment with atmospheric lighting. Lots to offer with its wide selection of food, especially gluten free. They have gluten-free bread to offer before your meal with butter, which is a plus. Since this option is not so widely offered. Highly recommend.
A cozy spot with a charming ambiance and outdoor seating that serves amazing burgers, perfect for a casual visit with friends.

Recommend getting there between 5-6pm for outdoor seating. Lovely ambiance. Burgers were great. My wife’s gluten free bun did not fall apart which is a win for her.
We both got the Quebec burger with a salad and would highly recommend!

Handmade pasta, excellent service, plenty of options for vegetarians and even gluten free pasta upon request! The garlic bread had cheese inside and was insanely good. Saturday night off season quite crowded- reservation recommended (or sit outside with heaters).
A welcoming spot with excellent service and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for a pleasant meal experience.

We had a very pleasant experience here last night and I want to talk about it as we happened to be there shortly after this incident.
We came across very pleasant, polite and helpful staff who dealt with all our questions about vegetarian and gluten-free food . And the food was excellent.
There was no issue at all about us being people of colour. Thanks a lot team la Pizz Royale😊😊

My wife and I were lucky enough to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary here last night! After 5 nights in Quebec, my wife and I both agreed this was our favorite dinner of the entire trip! Laurie, our server, was incredibly attentive and made us feel like royalty. We went with the ribeye and the pork belly/octopus, some of our favorite go-to orders whenever we go out for a nice dinner. Ophelia did not disappoint and delivered x1000! And for dessert, understanding my wife was Gluten Free, Laurie and the staff at Ophelia were thoughtful enough to keep her gluten sensitivity in mind and surprised us with an awesome sorbet to cap off the night. We cant say enough about the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you’re

Very pleasant evening with girls at Shaker de Ste-foy, very reasonable price, very good food (salmon tartare and Asian salad), they took great care with complicated food intolerances like gluten and dairy products and everything was fine. well spent, nice atmosphere as well and possibility of having the non-alcoholic version of their very popular drinks. Hats off to the entire Shaker team, we will be back!

Grazie mille! ♥️
Good food, good service. Always good. The gluten-free option is very popular. Employees are very careful to avoid cross-contamination with foods that contain gluten.
Cool fusion vibes blend traditional Japanese and inventive French dishes, with high-quality flavors and an adventurous tapas-style menu.

4.5 stars.
This restaurant came highly recommended to us. So we went there as a couple.
Despite the name, the restaurant has two styles of menu: one containing more "traditional" Japanese dishes from an Izakaya and a (on the blackboard) type "French-Japanese fusion" menu. (so be careful with products with lactose)
Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience.
The quality of the food is high, the dishes (including the dumplings) are made on site, the taste is refined.
The service is also second to none (I missed the name of the server). Very courteous. The servers know their menu.
Our favorites: Chicken Karaage (gluten-free by the way), venison dumplings.
There were no “disappointing” dishes, but some stood out less than expected. The fried duck dumpling was wrapped in egg-roll style dough. Crab cakes are closer to arancini than to a crab cake (much more rice than crab).
The menu is presented in the form of small “tapas” dishes. It's very interesting to taste everything, but the recommendation of 2-3 dishes per person is insufficient in my opinion. It's minimum 3 in my opinion.
With 2 drinks of alcohol, we selected 9 dishes (including 2 side dishes) at a total cost of $131 before taxes.
We are happy to have discovered it and we will probably come back more often for the chicken Karaage to take away which we particularly appreciated.
Very fresh products, however the flavors are uneven. The salmon ceviche and sweet potato acras are to be recommended (and also gluten and dairy free). Relaxed atmosphere, not noisy. The service deserves a little more attention. The bathroom is unfinished basement style!
Restaurant in the heart of Quebec where we had an excellent meal on the terrace. The lobster is very delicious and the dish is very complete. Canadian style meat too. There is a gluten-free menu and dishes. Prices per plate range from about $20-$50. Highly recommended.
One of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever had. Usually GF pizza is small, and from a frozen crust...this was 12+ inches and the crust was amazing. 10/10 and will be back again this week.
A cozy, family-owned gem in Quebec City, bursting with festive charm and outstanding service that feels like a warm hug.

Boxing Day and Quebec City is so festive . A look inside this quaint restaurant beckoned us. There exists a warmth upon entering and the host is absolutely delightful. She helped us select gluten free options and was so cheerful despite the hectic pace required to serve patrons. The food is also outstanding. This family owned restaurant might be the best kept secret in all of Quebec City.
Unique putine. Gravy is gluten free. The potatoes had a soft and nice texture to the palate. The cheese is abundant and potatoes fresh. Price is affordable. I will definitely come back.

I was served by an enthusiastic, happy man. He showed patience for my allergies and our French/English language barrier. I had chicken leg, rice & peas, spicy pickles, plantains, tomato dipping sauce and salad. Delicious simple food that hit the spot perfectly. No special accommodations needed to make this gluten free. 5 minute walk from the bus station makes this the perfect choice for a lunch time stop over.
Chill vibe with a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed breakfast, though options are a bit limited for specific dietary preferences.

A good restaurant for breakfast, although the choice is quite limited for those following an anti-inflammatory diet. I opted for a dish that almost met my standards, and I have to say it was really delicious!
The next day we went back. I asked to place the granola on the side to have gluten-free bread, it was very delicious.
Thank you to the team for this pleasant experience and for the atmosphere!

Very nice atmosphere! We love sitting outside. The tacos are not gluten free. The bangers and mash are very tasty and larger portion than expected. Prices are fair.
